I'd argue that it's not possible to use any earthly language to convey how much I love this thumbnail.

I watched this in the theaters, the sound was bombastic, love this movie. one of the few exceptions that sequels that come after 30+ years after the first one could be good or in this case great

Maybe a controversial opinion, but I liked this one more than the original. Also, it's still left intentionally open ended as to whether or not Deckard is a replicant or human, though it's heavily implied that he's human. Harrison Ford and Denis Villeneuve both prefer the 'Deckard is human' argument, but Ridley Scott is the biggest proponent of the 'Deckard is a replicant' and they had to leave it unresolved to get his sign off.

My take is that Joi isn’t sentient. She’s an advanced Alexa that tells him what he wants to hear. The advertisements throughout the movie for Joi indicate that’s a feature of the product. So all of the encouragement and hopes she expresses are Joe’s hopes and desires.

This has become one of my favourite films; I think it's even better than the first. Three hours long, very slow but I'm glued to the screen for every second. Perfection.

I love the original SO much and was really nervous when they announced the sequel but having seen Arrival not long before they announced Denis as director, I realised it was in safe hands. I’ll never forget the day the score became available to stream. Just the opening notes/sounds were enough to quell all my fears. A brilliant, brilliant film.

Seeing the Joi advertisement, joe comes to realize that it was all a lie. His memories, his love, his life. Like Rutgar Hauer before him, in his tragedy he finds the strength to do one last noble thing.

George’s statement re: the intensity of Gosling’s emotions even though he’s not really doing anything compels me to recommend First Man. It underwhelmed at the box office, but I think it’s a very good, true story science-but-human movie they might enjoy along the lines of Apollo 13 and The Martian.

I only watched Sicario for the first time not too long ago. Brilliant film. Wasn't surprised to find out that he was the director after looking at all those amazing shots.

This movie is an absolute masterpiece. I didn't much care for the original, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. This on the other hand, absolutely amazing! The love story between Joy and Joe was... fascinating and totally believable.

Blade Runner is my favorite fill ever (both the 1st and this one). If you want a little more, there's an awesome short animated film that shows how the blackout happened. Its called Blade Runner Black Out 2022. Its by the creator of Cowboy Beepob and Samurai Champloo, Shinichiro Watanabe.
