The last polls winner was Dredd and we'll be watching it today and it will be ready for Patreon by Saturday! With District 9 coming in so close, we'll be adding that to the schedule as well and it will be available a couple of days later!

Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

My only issue with this poll is that voting for all of them is the same as voting for none of them, so it's a hard to choose what to exclude. Good poll. Good poll.

Simon Clifton

You know, when it comes to gut wrenching, fear inducing, traumatising horror, I do know of a little 1980’s BBC TV film that I’ve recommended before ;) Even have the remastered copy if you like….

FrancescoTakesItEasy

Yeah, horror! As far as I'm concerned, do any of them. With the exception of Ringu I got 'em all on the shelf. Gremlins will have to wait, though. It's a Christmas tradition at my house.

Paul Cox

I'm looking at all these remembering Simone getting spooked by The Sixth Sense and realizing whatever wins here might be the last reaction they ever do lol. (Anyway, I voted for the three 70s staples.)

Anthony

If you want horror you should go for the first Evil Dead movie. The two sequels dip more into comedy horror rather than just horror, but the first is great if you're looking for a good horror film

Henrik Olsen

Aaaw. Hoped "The Grudge" 2004 would be an option...

JayF

Slasher films never did anything for me. The best horror films to me are Alien, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and The Thing. However Gremlins and Final Destination were fun so I voted for those two.

Bonny T

Too many great choices! I'd go for MIDSOMMAR and RINGU! The FINAL DESTINATION series would be great to watch too.

Martin

Midsommar! Let’s go!

Davide

I want to see the reaction of Simone and George to the film The Exorcist the rest is secondary

CRobi

one more suggetion: The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2004)

sarCC

Definitely should save Gremlins for Xmas!

Taterology

It's a wonderful day for an exorcism.

AlimonyMoney

Pet cementary, poltergeist, Sleep away Camp which has one of the most memorizing scenes in movie history. Gremlins is a xmas movie. Final detestation is okay but Its not that scary. Halloween is a great movie, just ignore it after Halloween 2. Another one is Happy Death Day.

Jason Rivero

I consider myself fully desensitized to horror movies. Been watching them since I was a kid. But I gotta say that Hereditary and Midsommar are the only movies that have really disturbed me after watching. And that includes The Exorcist.

Robert Cooper

Final Destination 2 is the one you wanna see.

Salvatron

I think The Monster Squad might be a good reaction vid.

The Gunslinger

You should give Bram Stokers Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola a watch. Gary Oldman is incredible in it.

David Martin

I think a better choice than Midsommar would've been the original The Wicker Man.

redddfer44

I've a question for Patrons who have seen both original and US versions of Ringu/The Ring: which one did you think was more terrifying? Because literally everyone except ONE person that I know irl, that has seen both, thinks the version they saw first is the extremely scary one and the other one is tame by comparison.

Robert Smith

Gremlins is one of my favourite Christmas films. Maybe save it for December

Jay

These are all great choices, I just voted for all of them. I think Simone's reaction to Gizmo alone would make Gremlins a good one so I'm fine with that winning, even though it's more an Xmas film:)

Alfredo Topete Escamilla

Just a heads up: Gremlins is a great classic movie, but it is a horror comedy. So, if your purpose is to watch a full on horror movie, Gremlins doesn't quite belong in that list. It is more of a fun christmas movie. However, if you're ok with that, then go for it: it is a really fun movie.

Alex Ch

Gremlins is a great entry in the “George evaluates people speaking in Chinese in a film” series

Dustin Merchant

I'd add Scanners, the brood, and the Holwing as a few more great horror choices. Well I'm not sure I'd call it horror. The Faculty is a really fun ninties creature feature.

Adam Wetstein

I so surprised you never seen gremlins then I remember how young you guys are. Happy Thanksgiving this weekend

Opti_Frog

Each of the choices in this poll is either a true horror classic or a mini classic of a particular sub-genre. All of them are worth watching. Very happy to see Ringu in the poll rather than The Ring.

Carl Whitted

These are some good choices. One other movie I would suggest is Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining". Truly a classic, creepy, unsettling movie.

Maddie

I would recommend Darkman, although it is not full horror, it is a monster movie!

Walter White

Gremlins is great but It’s more of a Christmas movie in my opinion. Surprised that’s the “horror” movie everyone’s voting for tbh

HeyHeyJK

Wait, how the fuck did "Dredd" win the poll??

HeyHeyJK

I mean, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the giants of the genre, so it really seems like that should be getting way more votes. Especially more than Gremlins or Final Destination.

Bryce Lamkin

Damn, I was hoping to see Tremors on the list

Mr. Writhms

If I didn't see this for myself, and you told me "Gremlins" would beat the original "Halloween" in an October horror movie poll, I would say you spiked your pumpkin spice latte. 🤷‍♂️

Thomas Yanez

I look at the subject line, "Movie Poll : Horror!" and then I see "Gremlins" continues to win the vote. These things do not match up. They even used an exclamation point on "Horror!". And yet, "Gremlins" is beating "The Exorcist", or anything else on the list?

Ashcroft Production-House

I suggest Silent Hill from 2006. It is my favorite horror movie of all time and it actually has a lot of emotion and feeling in it so I think you might like it in a strange way. Thank you for your reactions, they mean alot.

Jeff I.

*Colonel Kurtz sees Halloween in distant third place on a horror poll in October*: "The horror...the horror..."

JoeySnowyNoey

I wanted Midsommar so bad! I love that movie. It’s fucked up but it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen!

Gary Trousdale

I haven’t seen Gremlins in a long while. I wonder how it aged. My recollection is that it was in search of a consistent tone and was a little cringey and all over the place. It had its moments, but I’m really surprised to see it so high in the poll.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

I wouldn't consider "Gremlins" to be a horror movie and I'm surprised that it is voted so high. 😅 The Exorcist is the master of horror. I hope, it wins.

Rezblade

The Car 1977

micah

gremlins is winning! wow!! what the heck is going on

Kocyte

Maybe we can add Tusk to the next list and/or Human Centipede

G G

I don’t care for horror movies so I was going to skip this poll, but after seeing how much whining was in the comments I had to vote Gremlins

Monica Alarcon

Yeah Gremlins is best viewed around Christmas but I had to vote for it because in my opinion The Exorcist is very overrated...

Dooly

Who put Gremlins on a Halloween poll? How misguided.

Opti_Frog

Gremlins is a horror for 13 year olds. It's listed as horror on IMDb and it has been featured on the Evolution of Horror Podcast. Is it scary? No. It's still a horror movie.

Brian Hakala

Take my advice and don’t watch Midsommar. One of the most bizarre films I’ve ever seen would not watch it again

John

I think gremlins would be appropriate as a Christmas movie

Skinny_Obelix

Final destination is certainly not the best movie of that bunch but it would make for an awesome reaction

Kinokind

Also, Gremlins is a horror/comedy, so maybe people just have a hankering' for fun. Exorcist is obviously the "greatest" horror film on the list, followed (in my humble opinion) by Halloween, then Chainsaw or Gremlins, and so on.

PIG

Gremlins matching with The Exorcist is deserved (as a reaction choice).

Brant

Gotta get The Shining back in the mix. I think it came in 3rd last time it was in a poll. All time great horror film.

Florian

I would like to recommend the Conjuring for the horror trip. That movie scared the shit out of me

Dee Aitch

Props for adding "Ringu" and not "The Ring". One day we will get there.

duncan belford

Midsommar but no Hereditary?? That's a vastly superior movie. Creeped me out for days after watching it

Lindsay G

Looks like we're going to be getting another doubler. And I'm fine with that, they're both cracking movies.

Mark D

Hope both win.

Lorkein

Don't know Midsommar, and I wouldn't vote for Final Destination, but all the others I like. Yes Gremlins is a horror comedy, but it is also a great movie. A little sad for Ringu, this one deserves better...

Ken Myers

FYI, the best horror comedy is Scary Movie 3. But you should watch movies Signs & the Ring (both more suspense horror than gross-out horror) first since it spoofs them to some degree. That would be a great week of movies for Halloween reaction, Signs, the Ring and then Scary Movie 3.

Bjorn Andreassen

Although I am initially disappointed that Gremlins is part of a Halloween rather than Christmas poll vote, I am cheered by the possibility of seeing George and Simone react to Gremlins if it should continue to win the vote

Ken Myers

If you have not seen it, you should really include a reaction to Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog. It was released for free online, so I think it's public domain and you can put a whole reaction to it uncut on Youtube. It's 45 minutes long. It's a masterpiece of story & music, has cult following. Again, since it was released for free, may not have any copyright issue playing the music during your reaction video.

Steve

Just watched Flight of the Navigator, if you haven't seen it, it's one to consider.

Kinokind

OK, here's a new category: Horror/Comedies (not spoofs, like Scary Movie). I nominate (in no particular order) 1) Fright Night, 2) American Werewolf in London, 3) Night of the Creeps, 4) Killer Klowns from Outer Space, 5) Night of the Comet, 6) Trick 'R Treat. Chew on that for a while!

Jeff I.

Finally got around to watching Midsommar, and now I can't wait for a reaction to it eventually. Florence Pugh does some amazing acting, and the overall story the movie tells is really dark (in the best way). I like it better than any of the others on this list for sure. Along with a reaction to Hereditary like others have suggested, if you two haven't seen it already. :-)

Alex Ch

If you’re looking for a good American Thanksgiving movie for November, I know I’ve seen “Planes Trains and Automobiles show up in your polls at least once…

Logan Kerlee

Not surprised but a little disappointed that Gremlins is winning. It's the least scary movie on this list. xD lol, I was hoping to scare George and Simone with a movie! :P Maybe next year!

William

oh no, Gremlins is winning. It is a silly kids film. Well each too their own

Dave Gaskin

Some of these comments... Come on fellow Patrons, it's all down to personal taste and I expect movies that you like may have come out top in past polls. I voted Gremlins and Halloween since they're my faves on the list. :) Gremlins is definitely a Christmas film so it's a bit early for my annual rewatch but looking forward to your reactions to it. "We're all just here to have fun and watch movies."

Bjorn Andreassen

New topic :If I had a Cinebinge React wishlist, I would love to see reactions to : A Bug's Life, Paddington, Chicken Run, Ransom, Cliffhanger, Cool Runnings, Wallace And Gromit Curse Of The Warerabbit, Mary Poppins, Smokey And The Bandit, The Cannonball Run,The Towering Inferno, The Poseidon Adventure, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Turner And Hooch, K-9, The Ladykillers (UK version), The Great Escape, Jumping Jack Flash, See No Evil Hear No Evil, Police Academy, Superman The Movie (retro 1970's Christopher Reeve) and The Italian Job (Michael Caine version)

Lindsay G

I'll keep banging the drum for Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. It's comedy horror brilliance from Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness. The best 80's horror released in the last 20 years.

Jeremy Charlie

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

Spooky Dooky

How do you add a movie to be voted on?

James Whalen

How is Gremlins winning? It’s not even a real horror movie.

MacGuffinStuff

I'm hoping they watch the runner up, The Exorcist, too (too as in "as well", not 2, that sequel was absolute garbage and such a sin the Devil wouldn't possess it with Asmodeus' dick). Mainly because I really want to recommend they watch The Exorcist 3, which I actually like a lot more, I think it's just a better movie, and the director (and original author of the novels) didn't have to resort to all the bullshit the director of The Exorcist did to the actors, what a maniac.

FranciscoGios

I respect ALL Cinebinge polls, but I’m still waiting for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 reaction. 🤷‍♂️

AlimonyMoney

Unpopular opinion but I kind of like Gremlins 2 better.

Rachel W

Gremlins over The Exorcist?!!! Halloween and TCM? Nooooooo! It's a kid's movie. And not a particularly good one.
