You should watch another Eddie Murphy movie called Trading Places, it gives some backstory for Randolph and Mortimer.

"It could never be made today" is always the biggest cop-out. Have you watched any media in the last 10 years? All of the most ground breaking shows and movies are very controversial, they're just pushing at modern boundaries instead of the ones you grew up with.

You two are way behind on your Eddie movie reactions! Randolph and Mortimer are a big part of Trading Places, a movie that you definately should schedule for the XMas/New Years season! Also, I feel that it is my duty to inform you of this missed opportunity... I hope you realize that if you posted a PO box, within 2 weeks you would have 50 framed pictures of hotdogs. Now where will all those pictures go? Those poor, homess pictures...

You were right the first time, yes, the old Jewish man was also Eddie Murphy - his name, "Saul" with the credit for Eddie Murphy, even scrolled right by shortly after you were talking about it.

yes you have to be older, black, and American to understand some of the comedy. That soul gl was a parody of the 80's when lots of black folks had that chemical in their hair that left stains and smelled horrible.
