The last polls winner was Ferris Buellers Day Off and we'll be watching it today, and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday!

Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

TD

Can you add Super Troopers to a pool? It's a great comedy!

Nathan Jasper

If you do Ted at some point, you gotta do the Unrated Edition.

Tim Boxall

It's got to be Spinal Tap - it's the only one of these that goes up to 11....

jonny bowerbank

Please don't let the hangover win. There's some much better movies here

Will D

ALL OF THEM!!!! :)

Martin

In Bruges, Ted, or The Hangover, please. Anything other than these three will be a disappointment.

Fuzzy

In Bruges is one of the best movies ever, let alone comedies, the fact Hangover is currently leading is actually kinda sad.

Eddy V Ruiz II

I am hoping for Spinal Tap, never got around to seeing it and this would be the perfect excuse

Joel

Lack of voting for Spinal Tap at this stage has me concerned for the future of the species. Plus, it's right up Simone's alley.

Sam Fuller

Should definitely watch This is Spinal Tap some day. Maybe you can make a documentary poll and include it since it's a rockumentary.

Matthew Meunier

In Bruges is one of my all time favourites. Such an incredible movie.

redddfer44

IN BRUGES. Phenomenal writing. And everything else. You've never reacted to anything like it. Not that I'd mind The Hangover, which I haven't seen but kinda wanna.

John Howard

Spinal Tap is necessary viewing.

Lachlan Smith

In Bruges is one of my favorite movies ever! The writing is absolutely amazing. That said definitely an outlier compared to others in that wouldn't nessisarly call a comedy. Don't get me wrong still amazingly funny but more in its timing and dialog vs being a pure comedy like some of the others on list.

Maarten Martens

In Bruges is definitely not a comedy. It's hard to put a label on it, and although it has comedic elements, it's just one of these films that is difficult to put in a category. It's an awesome film nonetheless!

Chris

In Bruges is a Masterpiece. Of course it's a comedy. Just a very dark one.

Ben

Delighted to see that you've put 'In Bruges' on a poll! and heartened to see it get a decent amount of votes. It mostly likely won't win, but as it clearly has support on here I hope that means it will be reacted to eventually. It's not quite a comedy in the way the rest of the choices are though, it's comedy drama, but it does both so well.

Michael_AP

For a future poll I wanna suggest "Beverly Hills Cop" from 1984. It's action comedy with Eddie Murphy.

Marko T.

Austin Powers 3. I recommend not looking at the cast list because there are suprises.

Armchair Rizzard

The first Hangover yes. The others are pretty terrible, and number 2 especially doesn't age well with some pretty overt transphobia. The first one is genuinely funny though and i rewatch it sometimes.

Socket Meyer

It has to be Spinal Tap, right? It just HAS to!!! 🙏

Lars G

In Bruges is excellent, and I don’t expect it to win, but hope it gets a shot at some point. It’s a very new movie and I’m not sure how long you usually wait but Confess, Fletch was great. Funniest new movie I’ve seen this year.

Paul Cox

Spinal Tap requires a lot of context to live up to its full comedy potential, but I've seen Simone's t-shirts and I'm confident most of it will work.

fargoboyle .

If Spinal Tap wins, it'll definitely be my lucky bun day

Ginger

I know there's no point in writing this because the poll is the poll and will most likely not be influenced by comments but I'd love to see you watch Spinal Pap. (otherwise you won't get why I just misspelled it like that.)

Rob Parry

I think all of these movies should be viewed at some point

Jeff Norwood-Brown

Why can’t we vote for Spinal Tap 11 times? Also, watch Paul.

Bryan Moriarty

I can't remember. Have you both seen Clue yet? VERY much worth it.

Sean Brown

Not sure if In Bruges is a comedy. It's funny but also every other emotion. Probably the best film on this list and an all time great

Walter White

Damn. I thought Ted would be shown more love than that

Simonsays

In Bruge is a fantastic movie. Also you guys should watch The Nice Guys at some point, that movie is criminally underrated

howtocookazombie (Stan)

A movie suggestion: The Time Machine (the one from year 2002) with Guy Pearce as the protagonist.

Rob Church

In Bruges If one of my favorite film of all time. insanely funny.

Travis H

The two worst movies (imo) on the poll are winning (Bruce/hangover)? Hangover at least has a few good/great moments but I always found it overrated. In Bruges and Spinal Tap are the best movies on the list but 40 year old virgin and Meet the Parents may give the best reaction.

This Hon

40 Year Old Virgin!

Colin Stemp

The Hangover and 40 Year Old Virgin will clearly give the best/funniest/wild reactions for a first time view. Both are outrageous movies, even if they aren't the typically 'best' movies on the list.

St. Amb

If the Hangover wins be aware there are two versions, theatrical and extended so let us know which you do so we can rent the proper one. I would go with theatrical. Also this is a movie you NEED to watch / react to the end credits as one could argue what happens during this is the the funniest thing in the movie.

mojo shivers

IN BRUGES (2005)is in my top 3 films ever. It’s a deft blend humor, drama, and action. It’s just a shame it won’t win this poll because it’s such a niche film that relatively few people see. McDonagh’s latest film BANSHEES OF INISHERIN (2022) is another masterpiece and just came out last week in theaters.

Chase Schleich

Great list. There's 4 or 5 films there that you really need to get around to watching. Hopefully we get a close race so we can get 2 from this list lol

james repka

Not only is Spinal Tap the only real cultural phenomenon on this list, it is also one of only a few movies (Casablanca being one of the others) whose quotes are embedded in the culture. It also has never had an actual sequel, though its unscripted style has been adopted by many. The main cast has continued to produce movies over the decades led by Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel in ST): from Waiting for Gufmann to Best in Show to A Mighty Wind to For Your Consideration. All of these are hilarious comedies that -- in a just universe -- would appear on the list above...

Michael Bourke

I think my sense of humour is just very different to you guys. In Bruges is the only movie on this list that I actually like.

Wyatt Nuxoll

I've always considered myself to be a one man Wolfpack.... lol 😂

Dooly

Spinal Tap deserves better

Matt

In Bruges This is Spinel Tap

Cubonemaker

Sad to see Meet the Parents not getting more love lol

Travis

A lot of bangers in this poll. Hard to go wrong. You should watch all of them at some point.

Austin Working

Oh man, Ted was doing so well this morning and now its way back! That movie is hilarious, very underrated!

FranciscoGios

If you guys don’t watch the lower ranking movies on this racket I’m walking out! Also Hi 😁👋🏻.

In Bruges is a must watch. It’s really not a “comedy” in the same way the other movies on the list are, even though it does have a lot of comedic elements to it. I watch it at least once a year, usually around the holidays. Easily in my top 5 movies.

Peter Maňko

I said it once and I'll say it again: "The Apartment" (1960). Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine, 5 Oscars, 3 BAFTAs, 3 Golden Globes and a Grammy. :)

Brandon Meng

The Hangover is totally overrated. Virgin/Bruce Almighty seem like the ideal top 2 in this poll. Some mainstream comedies to consider: The Other Guys, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, There's Something About Mary, Walk Hard. Honorable Mention: Borat, just because it'd be hilarious to see that reaction from the Canadian perspective. Cheers!

Kevin C.

I would like to renominate The Death of Stalin.

Jared Kyllo

In Bruges by far the best movie on that list

Ken Myers

1. There's no "d" in Bruges. 2. Every movie on here is good, though some are among "best" movies and some are just passing good. 3. Those that are best/classics include This is Spinal Tap, in Bruges, and the 40 Year Old Virgin. 4. Those that are most "meh" okay are Bruce Almighty and Meet the Parents. 5. Ted and the Hangover are not "best" but better than "meh." 6. Calling In Bruges a comedy is like calling Snatch or Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels a comedy, they are more British crime thrillers with some comedic bits. It's a very good movie, but does not really fit the list/genre.

George P Burdell

I almost never see a movie more than once in the theater. I loved The Hangover so much that I saw it in the theater several times. Can't wait to see the reaction

Martin

I think The Hangover gets a bad rap because of the horrible sequels it spawned. But that first movie was comedy gold. This will be a great movie for Simone and George to react to.

simpLeXity

This is an impossible poll... ✔️All of the above

Pedro Pinheiro

Perfect timing for In Bruges, what with Banshees of Inisherin being out right now. Same lead actors, same director/writer, same pitch black humour.

Patrick Egan

Gotta go with This Is Spinal Tap, an absolute classic :)

Jonathan

I wonder if there's any hope for a Fatman reaction for Christmas? :)

Aarush Azizi

I promise you you are not mentally prepared for In Bruge. Extremely underrated with an excellent. 99% of which are all actors from Harry Potter films haha

Tom Smith

No death at a Funeral?

Jeff

This is Spinal Tap will win one day

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Please watch "Children of Men" from 2006 with Clive Owen, Julianne Moore and Michael Caine 😉
