The last polls winner was The Iron Giant and we'll be watching it today, and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

We know its only November, however by the time the video goes on YT it will be December ;) Remember, you can vote for multiple films!

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

No way Trading Places is gonna win, but here goes...

Bonny T

Getting in early to suggest WHEN HARRY MET SALLY (1989) for New Year's Eve 🙏🏼

Jon Tabb

Gotta be Elf!

Jonathan Grier

What MONSTER wouldn't vote for It's a Wonderful Life?

Nathan Jasper

Last Christmas is a must-see as well!

Steve

Elf along with The Holiday, Scrooged, and The Muppet Christmas Carol are my yearly watches.

streaky

I like the symmetry of Trading Places after Coming To America.

JayF

Trading Places is a great comedy, though it does have one scene that didn't age well. Still very worth a reaction. I think you'd be better off including It's a Wonderful Life on a poll with just older classic movies. If you do so, please include The Shop Around the Corner (1940) which is the film that You've Got Mail was a remake of.

Fuzzy Dunlop

I hope the only reason National Lampoons Christmas Vacation isn't on this poll is because you've already seen it. 😀 An absolute classic and must watch.

Erwin Quiachon

No way they haven't seen It's A Wonderful Life. It always adds to the suspicion that any reaction is real when anyone says that they haven't seen It's A Wonderful Life. They should just say they've seen it and react to it as a rewatchable.

Chase Schleich

They should have watched Trading Places before Coming to America. The homeless old men cameo in Coming to America makes zero sense unless you've seen Trading Places first.

David RedEagle

Please not Elf, its the most over rated unfunny Christmas movie ever.

Nathan Swapp

How is Grinch losing?! It's so crazy and good!

Bonny T

Elf would be particularly apt this Christmas given that James Caan (also from Misery) passed away this year 🥺

Eddy V Ruiz II

The Ref and Scrooged are my holiday season must sees

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

Not a big fan of Die Hard 2, but it’s a necessary step to Die Hard 3 which is amazing

Davide

Okay Trading Places but why so few votes for Nightmare Before Christimas?

Wyatt Nuxoll

It's a wonderful life is a must watch during the holidays especially if you haven't seen the movie

Cinebinge

Hey everyone! Did not expect a poll about Christmas movies can get so heated! Lets try to keep things civil, we do actually read all the comments though not in real time as polls are set to auto release the night before so chances are when it goes live we're both still asleep, then we go through all the comments once one of us is up and awake. There is a mislabel in this poll, the movie Its a Wonderful Life is also only new to George in addition to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Members who are insulting and arguing with each other have been dealt with accordingly based on any previously existing warnings. Please, lets keep things civil and nice, we're all just here to watch movies :)

Tyler Foster

Not going to reply to that comment as it's one of the ones that went awry, but I am echoing the suggestion of When Harry Met Sally for New Year's Eve, and would also add Moonstruck. (The latter doesn't reference the holidays much but is a Christmastime movie).

PickettsChargingPort

I think it takes a certain personality to enjoy Will Ferrell movies. If you are easily prone to second hand embarrassment, that person is not you. It's not my thing but others certainly like his stuff. If it wins I'm sure Simone and George will have fun with it.

Ken Myers

These are all good options except Home Alone 2, which is pretty much garbage, very much the typical sequel which is crappy, predictable and just tries to re-hash the original. While not a particular great movie, the Grinch with Jim Carrey is underrated, I think, because frankly the original animated short version is so perfect; same problem I think as the Cat in the Hat with Michael Myers. Anyway, my vote's for Die Hard 2 (a much better sequel than Home Alone 2) and It's a Wonderful Life. Trading Places is great, but I think I've seen enough reactions to it to last me for a decade -- reactors really need to pick movies that have not been reacted to instead of all watching the same small pool of movies, it's getting ridiculous. There are so many good movies with zero reactions. Every time I see some one react to Son-in-Law or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when there are no reactions at all to Next or Limitless or About a Boy or Go or the Black Hole or Dreamscape or Crank or the Legend of 1900 or ... well, there are a lot more great movies that all reactors just ignore. I feel like they get their ideas what movies to react to from seeing what other reactors are reacting too which is just contributing to the problem....

Michael_AP

Since Christmas is cumming up I wanna suggest: "Love actually" from 2003. In my eyes it's an absolute must for Christmas and it gives me a good mood right from the first minute..... besides who wouldn't wanna see/hear Billy Mack sing "Christmas is all around" 😆 (The other day I just found out there is an actual music video of it 😝 )

Jeff Norwood-Brown

Look. The mere mention of Christmas and the whole Cinebinge family is arguing. Stupid holiday. Forget the poll. Watch ‘Paul’ instead.

Andrew Smith

Dune is the best Christmas movie

Jeb Manning

My recommendation apart from the movies on this list, would be Ernest Saves Christmas. It's a Christmas classic. It has Douglas Seale as one of the best movie Santa Clauses ever. Plus, it's just really funny and heartwarming. It's got that certain Christmas charm that's perfect for the holiday.

Jason Stewart

I would love to see a reaction to "The Ref." No Christmas is complete without that movie.

Colin Stemp

It's A Wonderful Life might be the best Christmas movie ever made. Also, Die Hard 2 and Home Alone 2 are both AMAZING for sequels, comparing very well with the originals, and holding their own.

HeyHeyJK

I'm just gonna throw "In Bruges" in the mix. It's technically not a Christmas movie, but does take place during then, and it's also one of the greatest dark comedies of all time. Outside of that, it's "Elf" all the way.

Spacedone

Definitely 'Trading Places'. I want to see if you spot the link with 'Coming To America'.

Mr. Writhms

How about a little Christmas fear? "Krampus" (2015)

Andrew

Picked Die Hard 2, so we can get to Die Hard 3 which is the best Die Hard.

Flick Freaks

I vote for “The Muppet Christmas Carol”

Matt O'Keefe

I like Elf a lot, but Trading Places is where it is at in this poll.

Rachel W

"A Christmas Story"(1983)

dieselbeast

We must not have a lot of '90s babies or people who grew up in the '90s because how the heck is home alone 2 not winning lol

Daniel Bjork

1. If you haven’t seen its a wonderful life then you kind of have to, right? 2. Muppet Christmas Carol? Christmas Vacation? Where these classics at?

JayF

Somehow this channel has the most regularly competitive polls I've seen. Luckily George and Simone always give the top two a reaction when they are this close.

David Guin

Something more off of the beaten path: "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale" (2010 horror/fantasy)

CCASH615

Scrooged! Bill Murray!

Just Michelle

Elf and Trading places winning over It's a Wonderful Life is depressing to me

Bruce Bromley

WHAT! Where's " Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" or Santa vs. the Ice Cream Bunny" on this list? :-)

Sam

I would love to see a reaction to Christmas Chronicals, I dont know how well the movie was recieved but I loved the modern twist on a Santa movie.

Brandon Meng

Trading Places is the absolute right choice here but if you ever go for the Christmas rom-com, Love Actually is *actually* worth your time and IMO a quintessential Christmas movie!

HeyHeyJK

I'm SO excited you're watching The Iron Giant and can't wait for that reaction!

Kinokind

So many good films! Trading Places and Die Hard are only Christmas films because that's when they take place. You could remove Christmas without affecting them. It's a Wonderful Life is a classic, and Nightmare and Elf are just fun, although Nightmare is an amazing technical and musical achievement. Grinch and Home Alone 2? I've got better things to do with my time.

Adam Wetstein

Trading places is not a Christmas movie.

Jeff

Is there a stupider movie argument than "_______ isn't really really a Christmas movie" Anyway I hope "A Christmas Story" will be on the poll next year.

Ben

I like Trading Places, but I was surprised to see it on this poll, I honestly never thought of it as a Christmas movie. I guess it does take place around Christmas?

TranceCake

I don't know where to post it else, but what do you all think about Captain Phillips? Tom hanks did a great job Imo!

Chase Lonnergan

I was so hopeful that Trading Places would win this one. Hoping it would set off a chain reaction that would lead to Beverly Hills Cop.

ZerozeroZero

I’d love to ser you guys watching children of men - get on it 😉

Com1xguy

Has anyone ever suggested they watch Fringe? I cannot recall if either George or Simone have seen it.

Kate Suhr

Really hope they watch Home Alone 2. I think it's one of those sequels that is better than the original (mainly due to the traps). Also I think Die Hard 2 is really awesome as well!

jose giron

Anna and the apocalypse is a huge recommend for me, not really your typical Christmas movie but highly entertaining and just watch it in your own time, you don't have to film every recommendation lol but yeah check it out, massively underrated musical imo.

Andrew Charles

Hmmm.... I don't see "Love Actually" on the list. It's my Christmas go-to just like the Boondock Saints on St. Patrick's Day.

Scott Elsasser

What? no Scrooged???? oh well, perhaps next year.

Jay Davis

I heard a lot of people are suggesting Dunkirk (2017)... well, that's what I heard!

braaap

this might be an obvious one but you guys have never done lord of the rings. i take it that's because you've seen it? if you somehow haven't those are a must!

Kate Suhr

Will you still do Home Alone 2 since you did Home Alone last Christmas?
