The last polls winner was Elf and we'll be watching it today, and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

With Trading Places only a few votes behind we will be adding it to next weeks movies as well!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

Jon Tabb

Come on, Scream! You can do this!

Tim Pierce

Show some love for Friday.

Mr. 2Dirty

Should I be concerned that Friday is so low?

Skippy

All? Just watch them all!

john paul

Still no Gattaca?! Please! Ya'll need to watch. You wont regret it. 90s sci fi classic

TD

What about Super Troopers? Maybe a Top Gear or Grand Tour special?

Olli

For George's list Tearjerkers: Grave of the Fireflies, Manchester by the Sea Scifi/Dystopia: Children of Men

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

Now, if we vote for Mission Impossible.. you have to watch the sequels 😉

dieselbeast

I guess 13 academy awards mean nothing to you people lol mission impossible should not be winning 🤦if not titanic let Friday win lol

Lock_Down

MI and it's sequels

John Locke

Boogie Nights would a nightmare to edit for YouTube. So I voted for Impossible Mission. One of my favorite Commodore 64 gamest.

Martin

C’mon Boogie Nights. We need to get George and Simone into the works of Paul Thomas Anderson.

Nathan Jasper

Boogie Nights just for flirty Philip Seymour Hoffman!

SavageDiplomat

Always surprises me when a reactor hasnt seen any of the legendary Mission Impossible franchise.

Ian Fowler

Scream is fab, maybe one for next October tho. I liked the first Mission Impossible, but bounced hard off the second and third.

Chris Servais

As a huge horror fan, and a huge Scream fan, this was the easiest poll for me in ages.

JayF

MI is one of the better movie franchises, has been pretty consistently good throughout.

Ronny Boss

I'm a little sad that Point Break wasn't on the poll

Jack Koehler

There was a book that I finished only recently called "Best Movie Year Ever" all about the year 1999. It was really shocking how many great movies came out that year. Its why summarizing the 90's is so difficult. There was so much contrast in the types and styles of movies made. Good broad selection though.

AC10

TWISTER!!! One of my all time favorite movies. Idk why. But I love it dearly. Everything else on the list should be watched... if not it would not have made it on the poll at all, of course. But twister.... (maybe I had an unexplainable obsession with old jeep trucks because of this movie...)

Daniel Cortes

Ah... Three movies that I'm rooting for. I hope y'all get to them all eventually.

Marko T.

Mission: Impossible. It was second in the poll a long time ago.

christopher b swanson

you should do all mission impossibles, even though part 2 sucks........but boogie bights is a top 10 of 90s, brilliant

Brian Hakala

Friday is one of the funniest and most re-watchable!

christopher b swanson

the 3 series to do...............aside from returning to tv the wire.........bourne, mission, bond

Opti_Frog

I know i'm in the minority, but i think the Mission Impossible movie franchise is absolute garbage. Boogie Nights or Boyz N The Hood should be the clear winner of this poll. Hell, i'd rather watch Twister than Mission Impossible.

Marko T.

Titanic is great. My favorite James Cameron movies are Terminator 1, True Lies and Titanic.

michael clarke

mission impossible? really? it was good, but not really special it anyway.

Jack Burton

Boogie Nights is the best movie on this list.

Question, Are We Not Gyros

How is Boyz N The Hood the least voted for? It's a tragic drama that'd make them cry.

Tyler Foster

Just make sure if Friday is the winner that you watch the theatrical cut rather than the widely-disliked director's cut.

Jeff Norwood-Brown

The film Paul has people in it who lived through the 90’s - you should do that.

keeperofthegloom

Wow, kinda surprised to see Mission Impossible leading, but not complaining!

Sam

I understand why MI is winning bc its a good film but im still sad bc I rather love the underdogs, they are much better then MI.

William D

How isn't Scream dominating this poll?

Derrick

Screammmm

The Gunslinger

You should cover Courage Under Fire.

Vincent

Menace To Society

Calum Grace

Glad to see Mission Impossible leading the pack! The whole series is great, but I'm wondering, would this be your first Brian De Palma film?

Colin Stemp

Twister is an absolute CLASSIC! For 1996 it still really holds up, and is one of the best disaster movies ever.

Ginger

Titanic is my goto feelgood movie! Never made it past the midpoint but I'm sure everything turns out well for everyone. 🥰 If you ever do a poll for movies with two words in the title, I'd like to nominate "Con Air", "Face Off" and "Pitch Black" (in which you can really hear the bald).

Brandon Meng

Oh hell yes, Twister jumping up to 2nd place is awesome after it was initially doing poorly. Such an iconic disaster film!

Kate Suhr

I love Mission Impossible but would love to see Titanic or Scream to win.

Huckleberry lobo

Keeping with the theme of 90's I'd like to recommend Desperado, Last Action Hero & From Dusk Till Dawn 😁

Richard Powers Hardt

Boys in the Hood is a brilliant film. Its not a crowd pleaser though.

Rachel W

Omg, there's only one correct answer on this one--"Boogie Nights" which is a masterpiece!

David Sumner

All of these movies are fantastic! Watch all of them!

Digital Droo

If it hasn't been mentioned already, this is clearly an "in what order should we watch all these movies" poll.

Who Are These People

Have you put 'Dead Poet's Society' on your list yet? Great Robin Williams drama.

Who Are These People

Also, just watched your 'Goonies' reaction, is 'Rudy' on your list? Sean Astin being awesome again.

Brendan Rafferty

Boogie Nights is the best film on this list... not just in terms of quality... but also makes for a great reaction video... not just because of what happens, but also some truly amazing film work and performances

Rob Parry

Good poll all of those movies would be a good watch. A few other random 90's movie suggestions for future polls Leaving Las Vegas Jerry Maguire Unforgiven LA Confidential Clerks

Jorge Lopez

Boyz N the Hood and Friday deserve more love

Luis

They just came out with a 4K restoration of Malcolm X and it is one not to be missed! Denzel gives the best performance of the 90s likely.

Rob Church

Have they seen all the movies referenced in Scream? Otherwise it's a bunch of spoilers and meta comedy about films they've never seen.

Rachel W

Another fantastic 90's film is "L.A. Confidential (1997), thriller crime drama set in the 1950's LA with a stellar cast.

Chase Schleich

The leader/winner of the last few polls have been so strange. Out of all these films, people are picking.... Mission Impossible? A very average 90's Tom Cruise film. That series didn't really kick into gear until the 3rd.

Spacedone

Not sure I'd agree with it being "very average". It's certainly not the same kind of movie that the franchise became later on but it's a decent film with some fun scenes and pretty much the start of Tom Cruise becoming an 'action hero' actor.

Dahyul

Some Horror recommendations: Friday the 13th (1 & 2) Halloween (1978) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

Happy Hanukkah

I will obviously (but not really) vote for Friday to wash away the taste of Love and Thunder. (First person to identify the connection to Scream gets my vote in this poll.)

Michael_AP

I wanna suggest the animation: "Monsters, Inc." from 2001. Amazing heartwarming movie. Boo is gonna make Simones heart completely burst.... maybe even George's too :)

Martin

Simone and George, I do hope you guys choose to do Boogie Nights on your own at some point. It’s an amazing movie.

redddfer44

Oh goody, can't wait for the Trading Places reaction! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Turnt SNACO

Ugh.....I'm sad Titanic isn't doing better. I'm a 33 year old man and it's still one of my favorite movies ever. The timeless visual and practical effects, the masterful score, just the sheer epic scale of the film and the tragedy; I find it hard not to be in awe watching and realizing "this ACTUALLY happened....people literally lived and died through this." Yeah the love story is shoehorned and unnecessary but I don't care, it provides a nice backbone for the film to happen around. Plus I like all the social class stuff, it's a pretty neat snapshot of a very different part of history, from the lives we know. People don't seem to openly hate it the way they do some movies, and in general it is one of the better performing movies ever put into Cinema, but especially as time goes on it's a movie that I feel doesn't get quite as much credit as it deserves.

Ginger

My theory (which I could try to back up by data but am much too lazy to) is that movies known to one of them will generally do worse in polls. Especially when it's a movie with an unpredictable story like Titanic. Also very much looking forward to Trading Places :D

Skarr

Another excellent 90's movie i had forgotten about is Richard Gear and Edward Norton's 1996 drama: Primal Fear. Definitely add to a future poll!

Gryff

At 100k subs on YT George is getting the logo tattooed around his belly button, right?

Brandi Davis

There are too many good movies on this poll but I really need to see Boogie Nights win.....

Sam Fuller

I just can't believe that Twister and Mission Impossible came out the same year

Onur K Polat

I mean they are all perfecto, but Twister is kinda true horror as it can happen irl.

Austin Working

Oooooh you guys should do The Abyss by James Cameron! Especially with the Avatar sequel coming up soon

MacGuffinStuff

Boogie Nights is on a poll and it's losing to... You know what, I'm not even gonna complain, I'm just gonna rewatch Boogie Nights for fun. Paul Thomas Anderson is one of my all time favorite film story tellers, brilliant.

Lady Shar

Twister was the first movie I heard in surround sound, simply an amazing movie

Torstein Skurve

Have considered doing "Klaus" for christmas? It's a great christmas movie on Netflix!

Com1xguy

I hope they end up surprising us with a Boogie Nights watch someday. George should like it since Heather Graham is in it :D Maybe a Patreon only vid since YT is weird about adult content.
