Comments

Joe

Would still love to see you guys watch From Dusk Till Dawn as part of your Tarantino coverage.

Mr. 2Dirty

I’m assuming Prey is the new Predator prequel. If so I’m all for it

Robert Cooper

This is a list of fantastic movies. You're not gonna go wrong.

The Gunslinger

Bram Stokers Dracula is a must! Gary Oldman was freaking incredible.

David Turner

Tough one. Went for Constantine but Event Horizon is one of my all-time favorites.

Jeff K.

Voting for Evil Dead because George and Simone need some Bruce Campbell in their lives.

The Fool

Reaxt to literally all of them

David Lengyel

I can't wait for laughs in From Dusk Till Dawn. Event Horizon is also very good, can't wait to hear Simone's story how she got to watch that little gem.

jonny bowerbank

From dusk til dawn is the obvious winner here. Such a cool film to watch for the first time

Marko T.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is great.

Daniel

You should watch all of these!

Davide

If I have to choose one to show you for me is Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Than Evil Dead and From Dusk Till Dawn. I hope Bram Stoker’s Dracula is the most voted. Prey is not bad but there will be time to watch it. According to me must have precedence Bram Stoker’s Dracula ,Evil Dead and From Dusk Till Dawn.

redddfer44

Umm... all of them? Energise yourself properly after the vacation :D

Charlie Murphy

Bram strokers is the ultimate Dracula movie

Jeromy M

Both Event Horizon and Constantine, but do the former whilst on Acid.

Florian

Ok... yes to all 😅

Florian

I hope Event Horizon gets a second chance, such a mindfuck movie. Also recommend Sunshine, with one one of the most epic music pices

TonyMalony

Constanine is my all time favourite movie

Alexander Sparf

If Bram Stoker's Dracula doesn't top out here I will turn Canadian.

pedantech

Bucket of blood? Where's Black Snake Moan? Probably nobody else will make the association. "Bucket of blood" was in the lyrics of Stack-O-Lee, sung by Samuel Jackson in the movie. Search YouTube for Stack-O-Lee from Black Snake Moan sung by Samuel L. Jackson if you want to hear it. Warning, it's a scene straight from the movie.

Mikebdrx

Cmon you have to watch the Evil Dead movies. Sam Raimi directed them plus the Spider-Man movies and multiverse of madness. best of all Bruce Campbell is in them and he’s a god damn national treasure lol.

streaky

Ah if Simone hadn't seen Event Horizon I'd be torn between that and Constantine but given she has (also colour me shocked btw) that only leaves one choice. Maybe when they finally release that cut they've been promising for years? Constantine is a great movie (y u no sequel yet) so no loss there..

MadCat

All of those movies are worth watching. - I enjoy Evil Dead as a trilogy with ED2 and Army of Darkness, because they get a nice tone shift. I enjoy Hellraiser as well, but let's face it, those movies are fairly dated so it might be nostalgia. They have that nice low budget feel and lot of clever ideas (props, direction, camera), but I am not sure how much impression can they make on a modern audience. May be an interesting experiment. - I feel like it would be better to watch Predator 2 before Prey. The more you know about the predator, the more can you appreciate Prey. - Side note: If you enjoy Event Horizont and/or Sam Neil, I recommend In the Mouth of Madness. Maybe not for your channel, just in general.

Vincent

You can't go wrong with From Dusk Till Dawn, Constantine and/or Event Horizon.

olly.enn

I'm a big HELLRAISER fan but honestly, the (original four) films are all pretty rough around the edges. Especially the first one. I like the second one, cringe hard at III and find IV kinda fascinating (fans know why :) For newcomers I find myself recommending the NEW HELLRAISER (2022) more often than I thought I would. A bit too tame for my taste but it's a pretty good re-start for the franchise.

Wrencher86

I'm not even trying to be a pest here, but this would have been a great poll to put Ravenous on. I like Constantine a lot but how is it winning out against some of these genuine horror classics? Dracula is a must. Just a bonkers, fever-dream love letter to classic horror movies from the early days of cinema. All the effects were captured in-camera. You'll see why that's insane when you watch it. Event Horizon deserves a spot on the schedule somewhere, too.

SmooothE🚔🚔

Quick Change with Bill Murray, Randy Quaid and Gena Davis has to make a poll this year hopefully. Unbelievably funny movie overlooked by many. Also Coplan with Stallone

Phalanx

I love the Evil Dead movies (and TV series), but it's tough to vote for it without the caveat that most people like the movies for what they became, not what they started out as. People tend to think mostly of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness when talking about it (at least in my experience). Evil Dead 2 is also a soft reboot/recap/rework of the first movie, so some people go as far as to recommend skipping ED1 and going straight to ED2. All that said, if you're in it with an open mind and looking at what can be done with some creative, passionate filmmakers and a shoestring budget, then Evil Dead is your movie... Just remember that it was made by a bunch of friends for peanuts in the early 80s.

Patrick Egan

Prey was one of the best movies of 2022, and the best Predator movie since the original.

Nik

I'll vote when it's comedies again. You two are (to me) the best comedy reactors on YouTube.

Mikebdrx

I’ll add this in. Evil Dead is basically Sami Raimis no budget let’s get some friends together to make a movie, movie. I figured given the recent question video and Simone’s explanation of Android Night Punch, it would be nice to watch someone else’s low budget idea.

Brandon Meng

From Dusk Til Dawn is the most interesting movie here. Definitely not biased for the Selma Hayek scenes... nope.

Joe Baldwin

why you people gotta do the dirty on Hellraiser like that? :^(

Haye Zeus

Constantine is winning? Okay. I guess it’s gotten a resurgence with the more recent love for Keanu cause that movie felt like it was forgotten right after it came out

JayF

Tremors needs to be on one of these. Though it is a horror/comedy. Classic movie though.

JFC

If you can look past Keanu's performance, Bram Stoker's Dracula directed by Francis Ford Coppola is the most visually interesting from the list. He used a lot of early film history in-camera effects that aren't used anymore in favor of CGI. Plus Gary Oldman is really good in it.

JC

Please please please get voting for HELLRAISER! An absolute horror classic and not nearly reacted to enough

Kinokind

In the future, please consider "Near Dark". Although a lesser remembered film (except among aficionados), it was made right after "Aliens" and features several of the cast members. Direction is first rate. You won't be sorry.

michael clarke

how is evil dead not winning?.... but also prey!

Happy Hanukkah

From Dusk Till Dawn, directed by Robert Rodriguez? Since you're twisting my arm, I have no choice but to once again put in a good word for his debut film, El Mariachi (1992).

Elliot

I went Prey but I really hope you guys try and catch all of these! Some really excellent films here.

Josh Thompson

Prey was, for me, the best predator movie since the original. I hope that you get around to it even though it's not going to win.

redddfer44

I too am surprised by all the love for Constantine! I thought the film had been absolutely forgotten. Live and learn! I'm firmly in the camp "all three Evil Dead movies are worth watching".

Graham Bullman

All of these deserve to be done at some point I feel. All classics.

Kameron Webb

Heartsick that Prey is doing so low. George just mentioned in the Transformers episode about advanced ETs coming to Earth in the past. I think they'd LOVE it! It's a damn Predator movie set in Canada with my people, COMANCHE Nation in the 1800s!

Emptysea93

I am so disappointed that Hellraiser is so low, its such a classic both in terms of camp and horror. George and Simone will have the best time reacting to any of them, but I can't imagine a better reaction than they would have to Hellraiser.

FranciscoGios

All of this one’s are perfectly watchable.

Rachel W

I have a suggestion to add to the poll---a fantastic often forgotten horror film called "Angel Heart"(1987) starring Robert De Niro and Mickey Rourke.

Brandon Meng

Since we're in the horror genre, the original Friday the 13th is definitely worth the reaction.

Travis

A lot of meh

Gary Trousdale

Evil Dead ll is kind of a remake of Evil Dead (except with a budget and actual production value). Evil Dead (the 1st one) quality is about a step away from a good student film. I like EDll better.

Huckleberry lobo

please add Lucky Slevin & Peter Jackson's The Frighteners 🤗

OldBeardedGuyReacts

I made my picks...if you're going down the scary movie rabbit hole, I'd love to see reactions to SAW (preferably the first 3), The Poughkeepsie Tapes, and Devils Rejects. Also, PLEASE watch the series Yellowjackets. All of the reaction channels completely slept on this show during the first season for some reason, but the second season starts in March and that'd give you guys just enough time. Thanks and I love the channel.

Justin Wolford

I am so excited that Constantine might win. It is so good, unbelievably underated. He is my favorite DC anti-hero. One of the only people who can outsmart batman. Tho i am also glad that this movie is stand alone and isnt tied into the dc movie universe.

Dakota

Unrelated to this but a comedy everyone should watch is Noises Off. The cast is stacked and is a comedy that I've watched dozens of times and still laugh my ass off.

nossieboy

Wow go Constantine.

St. Amb

Wait, she has seen the truly gruesome Event Horizon lol?! Also, when it comes to horror the Mist is must see. Like the ending or not just the reaction to it is worth the price of admission.

Andrew S

When are you going to react to John Wick 3?, or if you already have reacted to it when will you release the video?

Lindsay G

I think Sleepy Hollow would be a good one to react to. One of my favourite Jonny Depp movies.

Ken Myers

Don't forget all the movies that no one has yet done any reaction video for. There are a lot of great movies being overlooked by reactors. Maybe do a poll one week for "virgin reactions" consisting only of movies no one has reacted to yet. Here's my current list of deserving movies that have no reactions: Next (Nicolas Cage sci-fi) Limitless (Bradley Cooper sci-fi) Push (Chris Evans / Dakota Fanning sci-fi) Crank (Jason Statham action) About a Boy (brilliant Hugh Grant comedy) Cider House Rules (Oscar-winning and awesome period drama with Tobey McGuire, Michael Caine, & Charlize Theron) Casualties of War (Michael J. Fox, underrated Vietnam war movie) Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (Andy Garcia & all star cast, crime drama) Sense & Sensibility (Hugh Grant / Emma Thompson / Kate Winslet romance period piece) The Legend of 1900 (Tim Roth, sweeping period piece / fable) Human Nature (surreal Charlie Kaufman comedic drama starring Tim Robbins, Patricia Arquette) Real Men (James Belushi, John Ritter comedy thriller) Year One (Jack Black, Michael Cera comedy) Go (brilliant slice of life comedy) I Heart Huckabees (Mark Walberg, Dustin Hoffman, surreal comedy) Sweet and Lowdown (Sean Penn stars in Woody Allen comedy/mockumentary about depression-era jazz guitarist) The Legend of Bagger Vance (Matt Damon / Will Smith / Charlize Theron underrated golf fable / period piece) Diggstown (James Woods boxing thriller) A River Runs Through It (Brad Pitt drama/period piece) Four Rooms (Quentin Tarantino comedy starring Tim Roth; outragous, artsy, funny & a bit horrific, great cameos) The Black Hole (cult classic Disney horror sci-fi) Cat's Eye (Stephen King star-studded horror anthology) Dreamscape (Dennis Quaid sci-fi) Best Seller (James Woods, Brian Dennehy crime/suspense, very cool, very 80s) Sphere (Dustin Hoffman / Samuel L. Jackson / Sharon Stone, based on Michael Crichton novel, underrated sci-fi) FAQ About Time Travel (2009 British sci-fi comedy, underrated) Night of the Comet (80s horror / apocalypse that is surprisingly good, cult classic b-movie) For Love of the Game (Kevin Coster baseball movie) He Said She Said (Kevin Bacon / Elizabeth Perkins in underrated romantic comedy) Bye Bye Love (underrated ensemble romantic dramedy) Stuck on You (Matt Damon / Greg Kinnear buddy comedy) Central Intelligence (Dwayne Johnson / Kevin Hart buddy comedy) Silent Movie (underrated Mel Brooks comedy, one of his top 5 funniest movies) Cheap Detective (Neil Simon ensemble comedy) Twenty Bucks (Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, William H. Macy, Elisabeth Shue and others, artsy/indie) The Number 23 (Jim Carrey thriller/horror) Land of the Lost (Will Ferrell, Danny McBride comedy) Cowboys and Aliens (underrated sci-fi-western with Daniel Craig & Harrison Ford) If Looks Could Kill (underrated spy comedy starring Richard Grieco) Rustler's Rhapsody (Tom Berenger, surprisingly good comedy western) the Boyfriend School (aka Don't Tell Her It's Me) (Steve Guttenberg, underrated romantic comedy) Taps (young Timothy Hutton, Tom Cruise, and Sean Penn; George C. Scott in early 80s military school drama) 200 Cigarettes (Ben Affleck, Dave Chapelle, Paul Rudd, Courtney Love, and more) Heat (1986 action movie starring Burt Reynolds, not to be confused with 1995 movie of same name) Three O'Clock High (underrated high school comedy) The Hard Way (James Woods, Michael J. Fox do novel take on comedic buddy cop genre) Cocoon (iconic Steve Guttenberg sci-fi) The Toy (Richard Pryor comedy vehicle that could NEVER be made today) Virtuosity (Denzel Washington plus young Russell Crowe, sci-fi thriller) Vampire's Kiss (early Nicolas Cage movie, artsy/indie vibe) Stakeout (Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, underrated buddy cop movie) Lawnmower Man (Pierce Brosnan & Jeff Fahey in sci-fi horror) Reindeer Games (Ben Affleck heist/action movie, pretty good, underrated) Crazy People (Dudley Moore, underrated comedy) The Man with Two Brains (Steve Martin comedy-horror) The Champ (Jon Voight, Ricky Schroder, Faye Dunaway 1979 drama, at the time considered the ultimate tear jerker)

Jack Burton

Hellraiser? I know it's a cult classic for horror aficionados, no offense meant, but for everyone else it's just simply a ridiculous and terrible movie. I'm not trying to be negative I'm just saying it's literally a bad movie unless you love cheese horror from the 80's. I was surprised by how bad it was when I finally saw it after hearing about it for so long.

Jack Koehler

Hellraiser is a personal favorite, but honestly the first one is an cult film, 2 was interesting, and the others...exist. but the most recent one with Sense8's Jamie Clayton was really good. Her performance in particular was really good. Watching the original and the newest one would be an interesting idea.

G P

Too bad about Dracula - probably the best film on there despite Keanu's and Winona's performances

Salvatron

Go ahead and swap to the Evil Dead remake(2013), the old ones are classics, but I wanna see how y'all like a truly scary movie.

Andrew

I don't know if either of you have seen it, but you should check out the movie "The 13th Warrior." I know that George, as a fellow mythology nerd, would absolutely love it. It's a retelling of a classic tale. I'm interested if George can spot it.

AlimonyMoney

Prey has to be the best Predator movie there is. It takes place 100 of years ago. No big bangs just futuristic predator versus an True Native Indian Warrior. Every single cast member is areal Indian Tribe member. It scored 93 on rotten tomatoes. The reason it didn't get more talk is because it wasn't released in movies just on streaming. It is a female leading movie with a furry side kick. It has won several awards including nomination for Best Movie Made for Television and Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television, As for consastine watch the tv series, much better than the movie.

Kris

Sometimes you guys create a poll that sucks, because too many of the options are fantastic!

Matthew Roggenkamp

omg please one more vote after mine for Constantine and itll be 666

Martin

Not related to the poll, but I’m going to use this space to request Boogie Nights from Paul Thomas Anderson. I hope you guys will continue to add it to polls.

Jay

I love my horror and 2022 was a really great year. Deadstream, Speak no Evil, X, Pearl, Bones and All, Resurrection, Crimes of the Future and plenty more (I even liked Halloween Ends tbh). But I'd love you guys to watch Barbarian on HBO Max. Great film and would make for a great reaction.

Onikaze

for the most part I would like to see them all reacted to. is there anyway to have ranked choice polls? :P

Greasy Feathers

if you guys ever have a heist poll. 3000 Miles to Graceland is a good add if not already suggested.

Kyojin

I voted for Evil Dead, not because i think it is better than the other options (i don't), but rather because Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness are AMAZING! The first one is pretty forgetful, but watching that would put you in the direction of the sequels.

LittleSillyGoose

I don't know if "Fiddler on the Roof" made it onto your list, but I'm suggesting it!

Travis H

Late to the poll because horror is not my genre, but I have to ask when did Constantine become popular? I haven’t seen it but i remember when it came out the general consensus was that it was trash. Yet in the last year I keep hearing people talk about it! Anyways I voted Evil Dead watching cuts of it with you is the only was I will watch that because I am a massive coward! My regular recommendations are Game Night, Paddington, Eternal Sunshine, and Pineapple Express (so you can later watch This Is The End).

2026-09-17 05:00 I like what you're doing. Keep it up guys. You should check out Little Big Man (1970). It's a western that I first watched with my grandpa. It has a different perspective of 'cowboys & indians'. Growing up in a village, that meant a lot to see indians given more than just savages.

2026-09-17 05:00 I love your videos! I am truly grateful for the good times that I've had with you guys! Also I believe you guys would love the movie "Warrior (2011)". It's an amazing movie!

Nemo-the-Red

If you do another series poll anytime soon, please add Interview with the Vampire to it if there is room to, it might not do as well as others, but wouldn't be bad to gauge interest. The reactions I've seen have done pretty well on YouTube so it isn't completely niche, but as a patreon exclusive, not sure of the audience size.

Nemo-the-Red

I picked four of these, great collection of movies, any would be a real fun watch

E.P.B.F.

re. "I want more movies retelling someone's life.". Well George lets start with the classics: - Citizen Kane (1941) - It's a Wonderful Life (1946) - Doctor Zhivago (1965) - Lawrence of Arabia (1962) - The Man who Would be King (1975) - Kind Hearts and Coronets (1947) also - Farewell to the King (1989) and, sorta, - The 13th Warrior (1999) I'm sure there are a bunch more, but those are who come to mind from the top of my head.

Brandon Meng

Citizen Kane and Doctor Zhivago are essential. Walk Hard is one of the best comedies that does this (I freaking love this movie). Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet. Maybe Gangs of New York?

Eddy V Ruiz II

Man who would be King one of my favs

Bobby Belanger

Fisher King? Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams are fantastic. Terry Gilliam directs...

Tim Boxall

Seems odd to me that Constantine should be surging ahead, I feel its one of the weaker options (I went Hellraiser & Evil Dead as they're both influential in the genre). But what do I know, lol! I'll be glad to watch any of these in such good company!

Happy Hanukkah

Congratulations to the Constantine backers. I'm looking forward to a movie adaptation of Twilight of the Superheroes.

BackstagepassReactions

PLEASE ADD BAD BOYS (Will Smith) MONEY TALKS (Chris Tucker), BLUE STREAK (Martin Lawrence) LIFE (EDDIE MURPHY) NOTHING TO LOSE (TIM ROBBINS) THE EQUALIZER ,DEJAVU, FALLEN (ALL DENZEL WASHINGTON )

Bobby Belanger

Apologies to adding to the barrage of recs i just wanted to add confessions of a dangerous mind to the list.

Bobby Belanger

Also, Flight of the concords. As a series i Think you both would appreciate the humor. You are both fantastic btw, thank you for being you. :-)

redddfer44

Just to add a voice: Evil Dead 2 is NOT simply the first movie remade with a bigger budget. I personally like 2 more, but the first one is a bona fida classic with a very unique feel and a lot of people like it the most. The low-budget inventiness is a joy to watch -- if you're into that sort of thing. But if you only wanna see "what happens", sure, you can watch the sequels without ever bothering with the first.

Studio KUJIRA

these all should be watched; prey doesn't belong on this specific list n is highly overrated lol
