The 1978 Superman would also be of fun watch for you two. Marlon Brando played Superman"s father. Jor-El. Farrell was of course spoofing that.

I love that Megamind has been getting a resurgence of attention recently, it's such a good movie!

If Simone likes Neil Patrick Harris, you MUST react to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog" in which Neil actually plays a super-villain. It's basically like she got her wish for Neil Patrick Harris to play Megamind. Well, actually it's a lot different than than, different kind of supervillain story, but I would not want to spoil any of it so I won't give details. But it is sheer genius with around a 50 minute run time. It was not distributed commercially, but released for free online, so you might be able to react to the whole thing without YouTube copyright issues (though I can't say for sure, who knows with YouTube).

I would suggest the superhero comedy Mystery Men, if that's OKay? Like Megamind, it's pretty underrated and it's a shame because it's a pretty great superhero parody with a great cast.

There were McDonald's Happy Meal toys for this movie that you can still find on ebay, if'n you want some. My ex-wife worked for the Music Supervisor for animation for DreamWorks and worked on this film, Shrek, etc. and dealt with permissions and with artists for the songs, and for scheduling recording sessions for all the scores, so I saw pretty much all these films at the time. I had forgotten how funny this one was (I mean, Will Ferrell, so, come on). Glad you guys liked it so much.

i dont know if youve heard of it yet, but you guys should watch 'the menu'. go in as cold as possible. dont even watch the trailer if you can help it. it is as good as everyone is saying. its on disney plus right now.
