Dedicated to the memory of the crab apple tree

Awesome. I hope you continue with 3 (glares at 4)

Young Blood Priest

Can’t wait to watch later. It’s one of the best sequels imo.

George - You don't see a lot of South African villains. Me - Watch "Cry Freedom" (1987) Also, I'm only halfway through the movie with you but neither of you has recognized Dean Norris (Hank from Breaking Bad). He's playing one of the other cops.

Zach Greenleaf

Awesome! Looking forward to this reaction! I hope you'll continue and watch both the 3rd and 4th installments. Don't listen to the haters, they're totally worth watching and as you get attached to Riggs, Murtaugh, and Leo you'll want to see how the story ends :)

JediLounger

Glad you guys are still watching these even though the first one did poorly on views. 3 and 4 are pretty goofy but I would watch them. The they both have pretty good villains and the fourth film has one of the craziest action sequences I’ve ever seen in a movie.

redddfer44

Shane Black, the writer of these first two movies, kinda specialises in buddy action movies that are both funny and dark but also have a pretty soft heart. For more of that, "The Last Boy Scout" and "The Nice Guys" might be worth your while!

Young Blood Priest

George, the dude that got shot on the plastic that looks familiar to you was in Aliens. He played one of the marines. Also the woman detective played Vasquez in Aliens.

Sean

Once you get past the 4th film they get weird with the casting choices.

Odd Thomas

As others have said, make sure you watch the end credit scene in 3!

Andrew S

Still waiting for John Wick 3

IM3 also is among my favorite MCU flicks, I just like his style. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is definitely way up there for me and the rest of his movies are, at the very least, pretty dang entertaining (Nice Guys is truly amazing). Shane Black is great. "I shot him with a small revolver I keep near my balls."

Mike Adams

Should really consider watching Maverick.

Ben

Based on their (lack of) reactions to other Breaking Bad actors in movies they've watched, I'm under the impression they haven't watched it before, in which case it would be a perfect reaction series.

This movie taught me that there is a pan under my refrigerator.

Gary Fixler

The bad guys referred to Murtaugh (when the henchman sees him in the file in the office, and when they tie them up in bed, and one bad guy said it when they were leaving the stilt house) by this term, which is basically the n-word in S. Africa, and is even referred to as the k-word, because it's so offensive there: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaffir_(racial_term)

Finally! A reactor that gets the "deKAFFIRnated" joke.

Also, Leo doesn't have to "escape" as Simone described it. He's only in protective custody, pending his appearance. He's not in actual custody. He's free to leave whenever he likes, which is why their boss didn't get too upset that he was roaming around with them, beyond that they were endangering somebody who they were supposed to be protecting.

George, that camper trailer that blew up in the beginning didn't blow up because it was the 80s, but because it had a propane tank (as those trailers often do) at the front of it near the hitch, right where that car ran into it.

Tenn Seven

I like how George said "so [Joe Pesci] is not the villain, okay, okay," and "okay okay" is kind of Pesci's catchphrase in this movie!

TGrimace

Not to mention all the people he was going to testify against are now dead.

Tenn Seven

"I just need to know one thing: Where. They. Are. She was also Janelle the foster mother in Terminator 2 (Wolfie's just fine!) Plus one of the other cops was Dean Norris, the SWAT leader from Terminator 2 and Hank from Breaking Bad.

Mitchell Bowker

Sam the Dog was in both Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 and he is a very good dog!

sarCC

omfgg, "Oooh, it's a bad helicopter!" made me laugh so hard, Simone.

PLEASE ADD BAD BOYS (Will Smith) MONEY TALKS (Chris Tucker), BLUE STREAK (Martin Lawrence) LIFE (EDDIE MURPHY) NOTHING TO LOSE (TIM ROBBINS) THE EQUALIZER ,DEJAVU, FALLEN (ALL DENZEL WASHINGTON )

Alex Ch

The Joe Pesci theory has inspired me to suggest “Midnight Run.”

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

random request.. but want to throw the movie Rounders with matt damon, edward norton , and john malcovich into the hat. One of my favorites. I haven't seen anyone on YT react to it

Jimmy H

Great movie! And a great challenge to George on the editing as every other word is the f word.

Logan Kerlee

Wow! I really enjoyed this movie. This was the first time for me, watching this. Joe Pesci did a fantastic job! I'm looking forward to the 3rd! hahahaha, wow! I'm SUPER tempted to change my name on Patreon to that now. xD You guys are awesome. I really enjoyed watching this with you both.

gobmob2000

The one thing that annoys me in this film is Martin not giving CPR and calling an ambulance for the girl, she could have still been saved. You are not dead until the doctor pronounces you dead. TBH, this could have been preventable in the first place by not taking her home, that was kind of dumb.

Gryff

THE DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY IS NOT MY BIRTHDAY, MUM.

idomineo

The guy who looks familiar at the beginning of the film is Drake from aliens, and the stepmon from T2 is Vasquez from aliens, they remain close friends to this day.

N7omad

Another fantastic "buddy cop" type movie from this era that often gets overlooked is The Last Boyscout, with Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans. It's full of snark and dark humor, and ended up being a nice change/break in the formula. It was never a huge movie, but definitely became a cult classic over the years since its release.
