Content

The last polls winner was Constantine and we'll be watching it today, and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!

Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Kyle B

I recently watched Grumpy Old Men for the first time in over a decade. It is a comedy worth visiting.

Havokki

Nice selection of movies!

Cycro

Real sad to see Eurotrip getting so little love, really underrated comedy from that era imo.

redddfer44

I vote for In Bruges every single time it shows up (it would also fit crime and drama polls), but honestly I’m happy to see you guys giggle at anything.

Mr TV Eye

"In Bruges" is such a great movie. Unfortunately not very well know, so will probably never make it in pools.

Ashton Lewis

Honestly, just go with In Bruges. It's in a different level to these other films

nossieboy

Liar Liar is such a crowd pleaser

Mr. 2Dirty

I feel like they gotta watch Rush Hour 2 just on logic of them already watchin 1

Neil Colk

In Bruges is all kinds of awesome but it's not loud and obvious like some of these films so will likely never get picked

David Turner

Euro Trip is my all-time favorite comedy! #ScottyDoesntKnow

Patches

Really hoping the next poll is Biopics and Ford V Ferrari finally comes out on top

JayF

I'm kind of surprised Blazing Saddles isn't winning. One of Mel Brooks' best. Next level satire. Perhaps it's because there have been so many reactions to it already.

Martin

In Bruges please.

Brandon Meng

Can we just do all of the Jim Carrey movies and prioritize Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind after this?

Matthew Richson

My first poll after joining yesterday, I’ve followed you two on YouTube for a good while and you are just a joy to watch. And pretty much all the movies here are something I’d enjoy.

Nik

You spelled Idiocracy and The Room wrong. 😜🤘

Maddie

I think you guys would really love Paul, it seems like your type of humor if you loved Hot Fuzz!

KL

EuroTrip was way funnier than it had any right to be! Johnny doesn't know :) "And now it seems like the complete opposite of what you wanted to happen" "Worst twins ever!"

Apollonia

Fingers crossed for In Bruges.

JayF

Some ensemble comedies to consider - A Fish Called Wanda I Love You to Death Clue Burn After Reading

Tomcats62

For future comedy reactions, consider the following. Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2 (starring Eddie Murphy), Money Talks(starring Chris Tucker and Charlie Sheen), and Bad Boys(action comedy with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence), White Men Can't Jump(Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson)

Jeff K.

Blazing Saddles needs to win in a landslide. One of the best and most influential comedies ever made.

Toby

Almost cried seeing this poll - can we have 4 winners, please? Haha. In Bruges is a comedic masterpiece, eurotrip is a mandatory timepiece, Paul is great as the cherry on top of the Cornetto-triology and Bruce the Almighty is an absolute classic.

ChrisXIllustrates

Guess I'm gonna have to wait a little longer for Rush Hour 2.

Doctor Tots

Damn guess im waiting another few months for the Paul reaction

mojo shivers

I love Eurotrip. It’s a pretty outrageous comedy. However, In Bruges is a top 3 all-time favorite movie of mine. It brings the whole package—comedy, drama, tragedy, and one of my favorite quotes of all time regarding a telephone and a wife. Lol

HeyHeyJK

You’ve seen “Young Frankenstein” so now you owe it to yourselves to watch “Blazing Saddles”, Mel Brooks’ masterpiece. A movie that would never get made today. And “In Bruges” is such a fantastic dark comedy with some of the most quotable dialogue ever (just be prepared to edit out a LOT of f-bombs) and easily in my top ten favorite films of all time.

Adam Atomic

Maaaaan, when u guys gonna watch Dune?

Jinyatta

Other: Canadian Bacon

Mithroch

Blazing Saddles is kind of a must watch.

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

Putting 'In Bruges' in this list with such fan favourite films is not fair 😔 Like, I REALLY want you to watch 'Paul', 'Liar Liar' and 'Blazing Saddles'.. But above all else, I'm dying for you to watch 'In Bruges'.. especially so you can watch 'The Banshees of Inisherin' in time for Paddy's day.

Lachlan Smith

Know that in Bruges prob won't win as it a bit more obscure than the others but I gaurentee you it will be one of the best movies you've ever seen. It hard to put on a list as not a pure comedy (a black comedy for sure). I don't want to knock any of the other movies on the list as they all pretty great but I'm willing to bet that if everyone whos voting had seen every movie on the list in Bruges would be winning by a mile.

Helly R

In Bruges is easily the best movie on this list, but it won't win.

Thijs

Rush Hour 2 and Liar Liar win this for me, although I know most of the other movies and they're pretty good but to a lesser extent for me. For more laughter in the future I would recommend some classics like Police Academy, Loaded Weapon and Hot Shots. I saw a post recommending Free Guy and that one is also hilarious imo. Anyway, can't get them all and I hope everyone will just be having a good time watching/reacting! /Edit Just wanted to add Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

Michael Buhl

I wish After Hours was on the list. It's directed by Martin Scorsesse, who is non generally known for comedy. It would also be great if the original 1979 version of The In-Laws made the next comedy poll.

Test Account

all of you crying about In Bruges or any other movie of every poll for not immediately winning should really read the whole post. the part thats in bold, where they mention "just because it doesnt win doesnt mean we wont watch it, it just means a bit later". im fully guessing that they included this part in every poll specifically BECAUSE of all the people crying over spilled milk. theyve done this time and time again already, even movies in last places in previous polls. you all act like if a movie doesnt win first place, it gets deleted forever and will never be watched.

DinChild

Gave my vote to In Bruges...because I CARE about their media consumption :-)

Daniel Cortes

I voted Blazing Saddles because I wanna see Simone awkwardly try not to laugh at the content and George laugh his ass off at it.

Kinokind

These lists are so often "apples and oranges", since the "lister" is unfamiliar with the films. But that's unavoidable. "Bruges" is dark, "Blazing Saddles" is ultra goofy. I personally am sad "Paul" isn't doing better, since it is an unofficial cousin of the Cornetto Trilogy, and is the sci-fi lover's entry. You can't go wrong with Frost and Pegg. If Paul does make it at some point, watch the unrated version!

PLEASE REACT TO ❤️💪🏽BAD BOYS (Martin Lawrence ) MONEY TALKS (Chris Tucker), BLUE STREAK (Martin Lawrence) LIFE (EDDIE MURPHY) NOTHING TO LOSE (TIM ROBBINS) THE EQUALIZER ,DEJAVU, FALLEN (ALL DENZEL WASHINGTON )🙏

redddfer44

This poll inspired me to watch Liar, Liar. I didn't expect much but surprisingly I loved it and it cheered me up a lot on a pretty dreary day!

Steffen Frenzel

I just started following you on patreon, so I'm just throwing some of my favourite movies in here. Would be very grateful for a reaction to any of these! :) A Monster Calls Black Swan Children of Men Grand Budapest Hotel Little Women (2020) Parasite Shutter Island In Bruges

Brian Hakala

That’s a great list! Lots of good picks but i went with Paul since it’s the underdog. You can’t go wrong with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost

david moreland

Despite it's morbid title Death at a Funeral is absolutely hilarious and I highly recommend it, just make sure to watch the British version and not the sub par remake.

Maarten Martens

Can't go wrong with Liar Liar, it's peak Jim Carrey. Even the credits are hilarious.

Salvatron

Have you considered renting out a theater to rewatch LOTR?

Martin

More comedies to consider: Stepbrothers, The Dictator, This Is The End, The Other Guys, Bruno.

Rob Church

In Bruges in one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It's also just an amazing film in general.

Rob Church

I would add Wet Hot American Summer to the next poll.

Steve Mercier

I highly doubt In Bruges will win...but In Bruges all the way.

Ben

Genres are a funny thing, while 'In Bruges' does have some very funny moments, it's more drama than comedy. Meanwhile, the Final Destination films, while not traditional comedies, would fit in this poll more than 'In Bruges', simply because the laughs are more "obvious" for lack of a better word. I'm pretty sure you'll watch 'In Bruges' eventually, and I really hope you like it, but this is a pretty good poll either way so I'll be happy with whatever wins.

Jeremy Charlie

Once again, I offer up Little Big Man (1970) to be watched.

shaneth138

Been dying for someone to watch Paul but since everyone sucks Blazing Saddles will win.

Amos T Fairchild

Blazing Saddles is obvious, but the lack of love for Paul is disappointing.

JFC

The most important thing to keep in mind before watching Blazing Saddles: There are a lot of racial slurs used but they're always used by the villains or by dumb people. By the end the villains get their comeuppance and the dumb become educated.

Logan Nelson

so... if i vote for everything... does it even matter? lol... those are all bangers

Mike Adams

They had issues with the language in Pulp Fiction and Blazing Saddles is winning....... This is gonna be great lol

Alex Ch

Some great comedies: The Royal Tenenbaums, Singin In The Rain, Midnight Run, Boogie Nights, Get Shorty, Nashville

Joits

Eurotrip will never win but I've also never seen any reactions to it so thats what i'm voting for

black_albinoz

Eurotrip is the darkhorse mi scuzi

Rachel W

I submit, "Raising Arizona"(1987) from the Cohen Brothers. 10x funnier than most on the list and a major inspiration to Paul creator, Simon Pegg.

Chase Schleich

Come on Liar Liar! It's neck and neck, but I know you can do it!

Chase Schleich

The fact that Blazing Saddles is winning shows that your Patreon supporters are probably 30+ years old on average. Do you guys have any data on the average age of your supporters? The ones who just watch the YouTube versions probably skew younger, but I have a feeling that those of us who are on here and watch the full length videos are over 30 years old. I just don't see teenagers voting for a Gene Wilder film.

Brendan Rafferty

Liar Liar is poorly written garbage and should be nowhere near Blazing Saddles

Brendan Rafferty

Blazing Saddles has some cultural references from the early 70's you might not get I'll give you one "The Wide Wide World of Sports" was a long running popular TV sports show

Skinny_Obelix

In Bruges is by far the best movie in this list, but yeah polls...

Emily Ridenour

Liar Liar is a total comedy staple in my house, pleeease do it soon if not next

James Falato

When Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder were discussing "Blazing Saddles", Gene Wilder brought-up a screenplay he was writing, "Young Frankenstein"... Comedy Genius Blending...

Monica Alarcon

Come oooon. Paul is in last place? Below Eurotrip???? There is no justice anymore...

FranciscoGios

I don’t even know why Blazing Saddles is winning, I saw the trailer and it’s jokes are kind of cringy. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

Travis H

I am only voting for In Bruge, but the two that are winning will make for great videos also. Just have to support the underdog.

Randi Satterstrom

I would love a reaction to Paul. Only like 2 people have done it on Youtube. It's like cornetto trilogy adjacent. Same actors, different director.

fallout4

How can Paul be so far behind, vote Paul!

Max Carter

In Bruges is one of my favourite films ever. Would love to see your thoughts on it

Todd

In Bruges is always being slept on

Huckleberry lobo

Speaking of comedies, Mars Attacks anyone? 👽🛸🔫

Roaring Mouse

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind would be fantastic

G0R0_!ch!B@n25

Since you just did Michael Bay's Transformers, how about the 1986 animated movie next?

Ernie K

Please review "Million Dollar Baby"

Kellen

You should check out some 80s PG classics, The Secret of Nimh or Return to Oz(after seeing the Wizard of Oz)

Paulo_Maximus

I can’t wait for Blazing Saddles! It’s crazy and so hilarious. It’s definitely controversial for it’s time and there’s no way it would be made today. Richard Pryor is a genius for his writing. If you ask me, Blazing Saddles walked so controversial yet darkly funny yet smart things like South Park (for example) could run. A landmark in comedy, my personal favorite Mel Brooks movie. Can’t wait to see how Simone and George reacts! 🤠

Bobby Glanton

I know blazing saddles makes fun of all races but it still going to tough hearing the N-word.

Rachel W

I fear they won't enjoy BS. Seen other 20 somethings have a hard time laughing at the jokes in BS.

buddha bling

Yall need to just watch the first 5 movies on that list those are the only ones that are good
