I always figuted was Abbott and Costello over Laurel and hardy

Hellblazer is in my top 2 favorite DC comic characters. This movie is what got me into him, so even with its flaws I love it. If you want to read it the first volume called Hellblazer: Original Sins is a great place to start. There are lots of nods to it in this movie. If you’re not a big reader I have a Hellblazer podcast where Im going through, audio book style, every issue of the series. It’s called John Constantine: A Hellblazer Podcast.

i saw on your instagram, what time are you playing the forest tomorrow? i love that game.

The skinny fella with the fat friend is a reference to Jay and Silent Bob from many of Kevin Smith's movies.

Kron0n

Laurel and Hardy. Skinny fella with a fat friend. Also The Holy Lance, also known as the Lance of Longinus, the Spear of Destiny, or the Holy Spear. Did you never watch Evangelion? =P

If I understand this correctly, and this is only for the US (ymmv), a priest can not be compelled to testify against someone that gives evidence of a crime in confession, but may at his own discretion choose to do so. The way it usually works for serious crimes is that the priest will require the confessor to turn his or herself into authorities as a condition of absolution, and will accompany the confessor to the authorities.

It said 2pm I think but I can't remember what time zone.

I have a question about the YouTube algorithm, does it enforce these rules randomly? I've noticed that reaction channels seem to have different rules about what they can and can't show. For example you censor certain words and phrases but you don't censor out any profanity, I've seen other channels that don't censor the certain words that you do but they do censor profanity. Violence is another area that everyone seems to handle differently. Some channels show everything, other channels will censor out gratuitous violence, I've seen some channels even switch the screen to black and white in order to not show blood. The entire system seems so complicated and arbitrary, how do you know what you're able to show on your channel?

There is unfortunately no consistency in YT algorithm, as it is machine learning it handles every video differently as no 2 videos are identical; so every channel interprets what works and what doesnt differently and we just cross our fingers we got it right. It also doesnt help that the YT guidelines are intentionally vague. The biggest issue is that when YT changes a rule, they retroactively apply it to every video you've ever made in the past. So a channel may be following the rules 5 years ago but when the rules change, those videos gets blocked, demonetized or taken down. So we basically go by what feels reasonable for the foreseeable future based on what other channels have learned and experienced. A prime example of this for us is the recent rule change of no swearing within the first 10 seconds of a video, which got retroactively applied to our Sicario video as I (George) said the word bullshit within the first 10 seconds; and that video has since been demonetized. So for us we decided to bleeping any swearing done by the two of us but not the movies as YT as a rule about frequency of F bombs. But they also have a small list of immediate demonetization words like the N word that we will have to censor out even if its the movie that says it. This also includes words that may sound like it due to accent or its a whole another language all together just to avoid the algorithm mistaking it. With violence we avoid any close ups of extreme gore and acts of self harm, as those are more clearly defined by YT's guidelines for what is allowed and not allowed, we tend to air on the safe side solely because of the fact that YT rule changes are retroactive and could occur any time in the future without warning.

The graphic novel is hell blazer. But dc animation has made a couple good movies like city of demons and justice league: dark which i recommend depending on if you want to read or watch more Constantine. They also just finally anounced a sequel a few months ago.

Happy Hanukkah

I very much enjoyed Keanu Reeves as Emperor Constantine, but I must point out that Alan Moore's favourite was Jean Claude Van Damme's supporting role as Pope Sylvester. (Though some critics were baffled by JCVD responding to the Nicene Creed with a mincing "You make me feel mighty real.")

BlackOpsElf

It goes without saying that practically nothing of this movie is doctrinally accurate.

Onikaze

The tall skinny and short fat guy could be either Laurel and Hardy or Abbot and Costello. They also made a Constantine tv series that lasted one season and was very good.

sarCC

The actor who played Constantine on the TV show was great, but the show was bad. Luckily, Legends Of Tomorrow brought him on-board and it was a perfect fit. Definitely the best cast John Constantine.

john paul

good eye. that was michelle monaghan

I would recommend checking out the 1920 silent horror classic called The Golem: How He Came into the World, if that's OKay? It's a great little horror movie about the creation of an artificial clay monster in order to save the Jews. I think it'd be cool to see someone cover the movie about the monster of Jewish fairy tales and Jewish folklore. It's really creepy, weird, and atmospheric in the best ways.

I love this film. Did anyone catch Gavin Rossdale from the band Bush? :)

redddfer44

I never really liked Bush (back in the day, at least; I haven't listened to them in decades), but his sideburns and red eyes in this movie made me feel things I didn't expect.
