Well this is a surprise! But not a bad one, to be sure.

JayF

Whoot!

Marko T.

This is not as great as the first movie but its still good. This has the best Predator design.

William

love this film, great reaction guys

JayF

George - Is it already attacking? Me - Nope. That's just Los Angeles.

Odd Thomas

Ask and ye shall receive! Hooray! Honestly, I like it more than the first. So much more going on in it.

Martin

This movie would have been better for Cinecringe.

Warwick Stinson

Woohoo. Seconds in and I was reminded that Rubén Blades is one of the other cops in this. Seriously excellent and very, very popular musician from Panama (ran for president there in 2004) he is also a character actor in heaps of movies and TVV. Love to see him show up.

Odd Thomas

I think Danny Glover was only 35, 40 tops in Lethal Weapon 1, he just acted older

Jeff I.

Is it just me or have the last couple of months been mostly action or comedy movies? I love their reactions in general but would love to see a few more dramas. I'll throw out a suggestion for "The Father", which won Anthony Hopkins several awards for best actor.

Odd Thomas

Stephen Hopkins made some really fun 90s movies: Blown Away with Jeff Bridges, Lost in Space, and The Ghost and the Darkness with Michael Douglas

[Venting] Feels bad to know I'm not in the core demographic of this community because this has been a long stretch of movies that are way outside my interests. CTHD is a gem of a movie and the last one I've enjoyed on this channel. Here's to hoping we have something better than Harold and Kumar or Highlander coming soon.

JayF

"Does Adam Baldwin ever play a nice character?" It takes a while and you'll get to see an even more baby Adam Baldwin but check out My Bodyguard. Probably not reaction worthy but a good little movie from way back.

8bitAndy

Big fan of The Ghost and the Darkness. I really hope it's on Simone and George's radar.

Generators

prob cause theyre shorter, and if theyve been filming more than usual in order for George to have a break, id imagine they want a bunch of shorter movies. watching 3 90 minute movies a day is a whole lot easier than 3 james cameron movies lol.

Foodassassin4life

Hey guys if you liked the western action/drama mixed with modern times of No Country for Old Men then please consider reacting to Yellowstone. It's an awesome show I think you both would enjoy it

Generators

its a bit sad but its business isnt it if you look at their releases over the last... god even 6 months? highest viewed videos, not like a bit higher but 2-4 times higher, are transformers, borat, american pie, the hang over jumanji, team america, tropic thunder, the mask, anchorman, deadpool, superbad. all of these have 120k or higher views, as high as 200k for some. theres clearly a theme, us the viewers obviously like it when they do comedies and actions and it makes logical sense for a business to give more of what their customers want. while their lowest view videos in the last 6 months are CTHD, Shaolin Soccer, dawn of planet o fapes, ghost, jackie brown, we were soldiers, contact, iron giant. all of these are 60k or lower. some of them as low as 30k views after months. granted this is probably because S&G are more happy, giggly and laughing people and theres plenty of "beautiful woman crying" channels out there already, and its more fun to watch comedies with them. or maybe the world is just depressing and ppl prefer happier things for escapism.

Gavin Kinsey

George and Danny Glover must have dated some very unusual ladies.

Odd Thomas

"The lions, the tigers, the bears, oh my" is from Wizard of Oz

Ry Jo

also if you want to see Gary Busey acting crazy, surviving the game 1994 is good

Tucci

He wasn't eating his brains, haha. They don't eat us, just hunt us for sport. He was just cleaning his trophy.

JediLounger

You don’t have to watch the other two Predator movies before Prey, but Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018) are both hilariously entertaining, and also kinda goofy. Predators tries to replicate the story from the first movie and it sorta gets there, but it’s very sloppy and no where near as well crafted as Predator. The Predator is written and directed by Shane Black, the writer of Lethal Weapon 1 and 2. He was also Hawkins, the jokester from Predator. That movie is pretty goofy as well, but still has its moments and is fun to riff on with a bunch of friends. Alien vs Predator: Requiem (2007) is also really bad but I do like some things about it. Human involvement in the story is incidental, the predator is trying to mop up an alien nest and humans keep getting in the way. The unrated cut of that movie has some of the more gruesome deaths in the entire series, right up there with Alien Resurrection (1997). If you guys want to see some wild set design and absolutely bonkers ideas, watch that. I saw it in theaters with my brother when it came out, it was actually the first uncut Alien movie I saw. It’s not a great movie, but it is a trip and a half. The director, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, also did The Delicatessen (1991), City of Lost Children (1994) and Amélie (2001), which you already did. You should try to circle back around to his work eventually though, I think George would like City of Lost Children more than Amélie.

Prof. Writhms

In my opinion, you should see the next one: "Predators" (2010) which is pretty good. Skip "The Predator" (2018) which is BAD and go right to "Prey" (2022), which is excellent. They are all standalone stories.

Martin

I think two Predator movies is enough. First one was great, and Prey was solid. Everything in between was hot garbage.

Eric S

Kinda unrelated, but all the voodoo stuff reminded me of Serpent and the Rainbow. Fantastic flick. you should give it a watch.

GreenResistance

Fun fact: The obnoxious TV reporter, Tony Pope, is played by Morton Downey Jr. Downey was the angry, bigoted, confrontational host of the Morton Downey Jr. Show, one of the most popular "trash TV" shows in the US during the 80s and a direct ancestor to all the angry and bigoted "news" shows that have populated American TV since then.

Thomas Yanez

George, "In the first movie, he let the person with cancer live." What? I think George just said he's seen AvP without saying he's seen AvP. Edit : he later mentioned AvP was on Cinegringe. To clarify something about that, though - when they added the xenomorph skull to the collection, it wasn't intended to create a new sub-franchise. That was accidental, and started in graphic novel form, then video games, real books and finally a movie franchise.

Thomas Yanez

I think their view on Gary Busey has been biased by their knowledge of his later life antics and infamy, due to pop culture references such as in "Entourage". At the time, though, he made for a unique, if eccentric, character actor. Now he's just a goofball. Also the predators don't "suck brains" for food. He was just cleaning the skull for his trophy collection. I mean, they even told you that the predator regularly returned to the warehouse to eat beef.

Chase Schleich

Holy shit. I literally just left a comment on the first Predator video about Predator 2 lol. Great timing.

Chase Schleich

He did kind of get his brains splattered all over the pavement in a motorcycle accident. He's been the crazy Gary Busey ever since. He was a very different guy before that.

Lemur

Light is not heat. They were using near-ultraviolet light without infrared wavelengths in it. The Predator genuinely couldn't see it - not until he switched view modes on his visor to the ultraviolet spectrum, which the agents didn't expect him to be able to do.

redddfer44

George, Simone says (on stream) that she's not a hoarder in video games. She told to say so.

Marko T.

Sadly the actor Kevin Peter Hall who played the Predator in first two movies died soon after this was released. He was only 35. There were Alien vs Predator comics even before this. They also made many games before the 2004 movie. I hope you react to Alien 3 too. It was released two years after this.

Jay Davis

I agree. Not sure the source of the rabid hate it seems to get. Maybe it was the rewrites. Who knows. Is Alien 3 as good as the first 2? No. Of course not. Is it a "bad" movie? I don't think so. Shouldn't actively avoid it.

Dakota

I'm going to recommend a few movies here. Comedy movies: Murder by Death, Clue, Hudson Hawk, Noises Off, Haunted Honeymoon, Big Trouble, and the underrated Stallone movie Oscar. Romantic movies: Casablanca, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail. Action movies: The French Connection, Running Scared, Kuffs, Executive Decision, and Snowpiercer. And to top it off a great forgotten classic thriller The Third Man.

Brendan Rafferty

The xenomorph skull on the Predator's ship was just a gag by the filmmakers. At the time, there was no plan, or even thought, of Alien v Predator or any other combining of the franchises. Ironically, while the xenomorph skull was not a deliberate choice to tease a future film... the appearance of the xenomorph skull in this film was so popular with fans that it inspired the original Alien v Predator comic book... which led to the popular computer video game... and eventually, 14 years after Predator 2, an awful film After a few years of lawsuits and negotiations, 20th Century FOX obtained the full rights to both franchises and went ahead and made their awful film. The NY Daily News had the greatest single sentence review of Alien v Predator... "With Alien v Predator, 20th Century Fox has managed to ruin two franchises with one film."

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I'm still so bummed, I owned the first three comics in Dark Horse's four comic Aliens Vs Predator series, pretty sure my mom's POS ex boyfriend, or one of his POS family members, stole them (and the rest of my comics and baseball cards) and probably sold them for meth, or Bud Light. Also bummed about the movie franchise, but that's another story. But I digress. Some cool things (I think) I remember from the comics were that the Yautja do hunt in groups, sometimes, they hunted the xenomorphs that way. And I remember them fighting each other hand to hand on the ship for the privilege of joining the hunting party. I'm stoked for the Prey reaction, and I know some people really did not like it, I did. Hoping they watch Predators as well, and even THE Predator, I thought that one was a fun watch.

FranciscoGios

This species are called Yautjas. I’m unsure if they reproduce like humans but this City Hunter(Predator in movie) was trying to achieve a spot for his tribe. If he was successful of killing Harrigan he would of become an Elite among his clan tribe. The Elder(the highest spot of a Yautja Clan Tribe) is the leader of this Lost Tribe(the 9 members you & Simone counted). Oh and The Elder’s name is called Greyback.

Richard B.

Glad you enjoyed this movie but I see I continue to be one of the only people on the planet that likes this movie more than the first. Really hope you have Prey on the list to watch soon.

Scribbles the Mouse

I am a fan of the Adrian Brodie movie of this series called "Predators"

Viktor M

No, your are not. I think both films have their strengths. In the first movie, the cast is better and so is the action, but in the second, the Predator and everything around it's behavior, weapons, etc. is much more fleshed out. In my opinion, the Predator in the second film is also meaner and more brutal in behavior. Unfortunately, the second part is far too underrated. In contrast to the new Prey, which is way too overrated.

Logan Kerlee

This movie is not as great as the original. It isn't over the top action like the first. This one's more horror/action instead madness in a jungle. That's my take on it at least. Both movies are entertaining but this one falls short in comparison. Years from now when Predator comes to mind, you'll remember Arnold long before Danny Glover comes to mind.

Logan Kerlee

I'd be down to watch a reaction for Running Scared (2006 version, just in case anyone's curious).

BND

One of my favorite parts about watching Cinebinge reactions is when they just start giggling and laughing at random times throughout the movie without any rhyme or reason. It's kind of waiting for Arnold Schwarzenegger to say "I'll be back", you know it's coming at some point. I don't know why but I just find those moments so hilarious. 🤣

Diiirk706

THIS MOVIE. R U L E S. #FuckTheHaters .

Matthew Langley

The best part of this one is the new Predator weapons and gadgets.

Lucifer Moon

PLEASE PLEASE DO THE REST OF THE PREDATOR AND AVP FILMS

djKENTO

I think Predators and Prey are definitely worth it. As an Autistic man… The Predator (the 4th film) is deeply offensive and also just a really shitty movie where you can pin point the exact moment they ran out of money.

Ph4ZeD

I just watched this reaction, George said that you were going to do Prey soon :(

Drew Acheson

Did the first Predator movie get taken down? Or did you skip to the second one for some reason?

Casey Dixon

Arnold was ask to come back but didn't like the idea of taking the Predator out of the jungle
