The fact that nobody in that house was raptured may be the funniest surprise twist ever. Saw this in a theater and it was almost impossible to hear parts of the movie because the audience was laughing so hard.

The difference in reactions at 21:51 is a big part of why I watch you guys. And then for moments like the Channing Tatum reveal. Thank you George for explaining my thoughts on these guys' movies as a group of friends who just make it. There isn't much of a plot except to be an outlet for the jokes that they make.

This was such a great, funny movie - glad you guys liked it! I was a bit bummed that David Krumholtz (Mr. Universe from the Firefly movie Serenity) fell into the pit early on, but I guess that's a personal bias. Also, just wanted to add that the scene where the demon "possesses" Jonah Hill is a shot-for-shot reenactment of the scene from Rosemary's Baby where she's impregnated by the devil, right down to the "This is no dream, this is really happening!"

a good recent movie with an actor playing themself is 'the unbearable weight of massive talent'. it was surprisingly really good, because i personally go back and forth on nick cage, plus more pedro pascal. but... the real movie i think you should do is 'being john malcovich'. it has cameron diaz and stars malcovich as himself. its almost psychedelic in concept. really bizarre, but brilliant.

Mandatory viewing after watching this movie: Pineapple Express. I mean, it was refernced like 25 times in this movie. Hilarious and must see. If you'd like to continue the Jay Baruchel experience... Million Dollar Baby for a cinematic masterpiece, She's Out of My League for a Jay Baruchel masterpiece.

SO glad you guys did this one. The premise/concept of the film-the actors playing themselves bit- could have really spectacularly failed but it actually worked and was consistently hilarious throughout.

interesting thing unless someone else mentioned it, Emma Watson hated this role, and movie and had real issues on set, and famously walked off the movie.........

@John She didn't have an issue with that scene. It was the cannibal scene where they ate James Franco that she thought was too much. They later reshot the scene and made it less gruesome. She came back to set the next day to say goodbye and promote the film. She had nothing but good things to say about the film.

I love how this movie was actually used as a means to announce the Backstreet Boys were back.

Jay Baruchel is a criminally underrated actor. Two other really good movies with him are The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)(it also has Nick Cage!!!) and the awesome She's Out of My League (2010).
