Definitely need to watch The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent with Nic Cage AND PEDRO PASCAL. But maybe watch some more Nic Cage films first; Face/Off and Wild Heart in particular.

BEING JOHN MALKOVICH is a must watch! Malkovich plays a version of himself and is brilliant as always. BUT...then follow that up with it's companion film, ADAPTATION. In Adaptation, Nic Cage plays the screenwriter of both Being John Malkovich and Adaptation. Both films are amazing and trippy.

This movie is insane but definitely the good kind of insane. Some of the Franco stuff maybe didn't age so well.. Sausage party is similar cast but not nearly as funny sadly, they don't play themselves though. If you like Craig Robinson and want to see him in another movie that is hilariously insane, definitely Hot Tub Time Machine which I've suggested before but he doesn't play himself. Being John Malkovich is an absolute masterpiece and is completely insane and he is in it playing himself although his is a relatively small part, well worth seeing though - also Adaptation which is semi-fictionally about the writer of Being John Malkovich (Charlie Kaufman) starring Nicolas Cage which is also _completely insane_ in a good way (Tilda Swinton is in that too - movie connections are fun).
