My ex was really weirded out by me that I didn't cry or tear up with this one, I knew the story and what happens so that probably made it not as sad for me already knowing but this one didn't do it for me for some reason (I know, I don't know why either)

I've seen this one a couple times and it definitely hasn't gotten any less heart breaking. You guys might already know (I'm betting George does) that Hachiko's story was the inspiration for the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark", which is the story of Fry's incredibly loyal dog Seymour Asses. IMO it's the saddest episode of animated TV ever.

I cannot watch the full version because I've been broken since the first and only time I watched it. For weeks, just thinking about the movie made me cry. This time, I cried with you guys, but at least I also got to revisit the beauty of it. Hachi 🤍

So, Simone - did you schedule and post this today with the knowledge that it's National Puppy Day? (Haven't watched the reaction yet; I have a tough time with sad dog movies ever since I watched Marley and Me on a freaking plane, and had to pretend to be looking out the window over and over so no one would see me crying because I'm a manly masculine caveman man and men like me just don't cry, it's the law.)

If you like movies about dogs, you both should watch “Marley and Me”. It stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. A very fun, lovable movie. It has a very happy ending, not heartbreaking at all.

I've never seen the movie, but I'm well aware of what tone the ending will be. During the lockdown, I got a black lab, and my girlfriend named her Marley. I was against this, but it's stuck. Now I ABSOLUTELY cannot watch that movie. But I hope they enjoy it if it ever wins a poll!

Two of my top three reactors together at last?!?! Be still my beating heart. When I tell people that I watch reactors, (1) they roll their eyes like I did until I found Cinebinge and Popcorn In Bed, and (2) your two channels are two of the three I introduce to them. Can you imagine if we put together an invitation only, 3 day "conference" at a Mexican resort where top reactors like Simone & George, Cassie (and, of course, Carly), Natalie, Ashley, Dasha, and a few others all came together to party, talk, film joint reactions to movies and do PPV livestreams? It boggles my mind!
