So just to add to some of the home made just for fun stuff. There was a contest for fake movie trailers and it had to be under a minute long so I shot like 30 min worth or footage just to get this. My GF is the woman running and one of my buddies is the shirtless guy. Anyway we shot it on two separate days because my GF and my friend had different schedules . All shot on an iPhone if you couldn’t tell. Anyway here is the YouTube link if anyone wants to go check it out. https://youtu.be/grsfL5kByt8

I also should add that the original trailer was much longer but I didn’t read the rules about it being 1 min or less so I had to go back and make a lot of cuts….bummer

Let the bad movie recommendations commence! Highlander 2 is notoriously shit. The version that's most commonly available these days is reputedly better than the theatrical cut that's on Youtube, but it's still fucking terrible. And you guys are definitely tearing us apart if you don't react to you know what.

Well... that was an experience. You're a good sport Simone! In regards to the weird lighting you were puzzled about at the 57 minute mark, that was 'day for night' shooting. A method used in lots of low budget movies to save money/time. It almost never looks good because of the poor contrast and shadowing of the scene.

I didn't think it was hot garbage.. I mean, it's missing structure, foundation and felt like I was in the multiverse but, I loved the interaction between Charlie & Simones character.. could've done a whole silent short film on just those two characters.. would love to know what film or films inspired the Director.. I don't know, I got some comical David Lynch vibes watching it?

Wow. Just, wow. Choices were made. . . But I've seen worse. I did like Simone's hair. Prepare yourselves for the future. About every decade you will look back and cringe at things you did before. It never ends. It is nice, though, that you can see your friends as they were years ago. Simone: You looked nice, but you are brave to have suggested this viewing. I had seen it previously and knew what to expect, but it was nice to have context. But how will you top this?

Honestly this was actually pretty good for havng been shot on a weekend with little to no budget. I thought Simone did a great job being an android. I didn't quite understand that whole reanimation part, it didn't really seem to go anywhere save maybe to have Sam realize that a heart wasn't needed anylonger I guess. But overall. I enjoyed this. Simone's hair was also super cute. Great Job! If you really want to do a really bad movie for CineCringe, and haven't seen it yet, I vote House of the Dead. Very little can be as bad as that.

So I just did a search for this on YT. #1 result after this was from “Worst Movies On…”. Apparently they review the worst movies on various platforms like Netflix. This movie was their premier episode for their YouTube Volumes. I haven’t seen any of their content yet, but thought it might be fun to team up for a CineCringe episode. 😬
