Yes thank you. You even love or hate Anderson’s work. Im a fan but I understand that who dont.

Chris Gunderson

If you're looking for Willem Dafoe in a "good guy" role, check out Platoon.

Jose Deleon

My absolute favorite movie of all time. It has such a magical feel to it.

Socket Meyer

So happy to finally see this posted. George had mentioned he had to re-edit this for YouTube to finally stop taking it down. You’re editing is always top notch, George. Much Appreciated you sticking with it ✊️

Cthulhu1928

Willem Dafoe did play the good guy in John Wick, Platoon, American Psycho and in The Last Temptation of Christ he plays Jesus Christ.

Pam Nail

In addition to the movies mentioned above, Willem Dafoe played a good guy in The Florida Project, and he played a romantic lead in Tom & Viv. He also played a (sort of?) romantic character in Body of Evidence (it's an erotic thriller, so we're talking certain values of "romantic").

My favorite Wes Anderson films are The Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom. Those I had the best time seeing and rewatching. But all of his films are good to excellent.

MR

Fantastic Mr Fox is one of my favorites.

Matt

Moonrise Kingdom is my favorite, but all his films are great you should just do all of them

Brandon Meng

Mandatory Wes Anderson is probably his entire filmography but The Royal Tenenbaums is what really elevated his status as a filmmaker. Can't go wrong with any of his movies, but to me, GBH is his best.

Jay

Simone can really pull off a pencil moustache:)

Rob Church

Please put The Royal Tenenbaums on a poll. Easily my personal favorite West Anderson film.

Kirk Sloan

Royal Tennenbaums and Rushmore are my favorite WA movies

Be Human

Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic!

RobA

Life aquatic if you want to see a different kind of Willem Dafoe

HeyHeyJK

Pretty much tied with 'Fantastic Mr. Fox" as my favorite film by Wes. Just great and so happy it won the poll and then you reacted to it and then I watched you react to it and then wrote this comment about the fact that you reacted to it. 'k, byeeee.

Tim Nicolle

I suppose its because of the hotel connection that I thought of it, but you would both love the TV series "The Night Manager" with Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston.

Who Are These People

George, you asked about Willem Dafoe and I was reminded of 'The Lighthouse'. Watch it. Might not want to put it on a poll, the crowd here wouldn't vote it up, but it is an excellent movie that'll spin your head, one of the best Lovecraftian movies made next to 'The Color Out of Space' (which I also highly recommend, stars Nicholas Cage). In fact, if you want to make Simone go insane, do a double-feature.

Just so George doesn't have to test it, cats reach terminal velocity after about 5 stories. They have a natural ability to twist their bodies in space in a very short amount of time so they land in the optimal position. Cats have been known to land after falls of up to 12 stories and survive with minimal to no injuries.
