Yay!

Alissa

Amazing movie! I remember watching this as a kid sooooo many times, I even had a CD of it which I listened to a lot as well.

Nemo

Nice surprise, one of my favorite movies as a kid. :) By the way, will Grand Budapest be released next week?

Tyler Mckenzie

Edna is voice by Brad Bird the director.

JediLounger

The birds are not real thing is a joke George lol. I promise.

lumpycoal

so did a great many of things ppl believe in now, all started as jokes on 4chan lol. i would not be surprised if there are ppl who genuinely believes it.

Naturekitty5309

I still would love to see you watch the Dark Knight parts 1&2, or maybe Flashpoint paradox. DC has a lot of great animated movies.

Tinfoilnation

Incredibles 2 needs to be on your schedule just as soon as superhumanly possible - as it is one of the rare sequels that is every bit as fun as the original.

JediLounger

Incredibles 2 (2018) is absolutely worth watching. Brad Bird did a sequel once he had come up with an idea and story that could get close to being as good as the first movie. The second movie had an accelerated production schedule and they had to cut some stuff, so he still has ideas left over. There is talk of a third film, hopefully it will happen before long. Brad Bird has been fairly quiet since the second movie came out, so it would not surprise me if he is working on it along with other projects.

Young Blood Priest

Best Fantastic Four movie to date. Simone, Mr. Fantastic (super stretchy guy) was in the last Dr. Strange movie. He was the one on the the Illuminati counsel that Wanda turned into spaghetti.

Cortez4819

Fun thing I remember about the names: Dash: Obviously because he's fast Violet: as in Ultraviolet which is invisible to the naked eye Jack Jack: as in a Jack of all trades which is why he has all the powers

Odd Thomas

It's kind of a mixture of Watchmen, FF and James Bond. I hope you guys do some Bond movies sometime!

Odd Thomas

Please watch Wreck it Ralph. As good as or better than The Incredibles.

Gary Fixler

First time I've ever picked up on it, but when Mr. Incredible flies to the island in his new suit (@47:20), the robot voice in the ship (after refilling his mimosa) says "Currently 78 degrees in Nomanisan. Perfect weather for flying." Nomanisan Island.

Texas Anla'Shok

Pixar has a tradition of doing their own test (scratch) voice acting and liking the results so much that it becomes the actual character. Bird did the scratch for Edna and came up with this voice and accent that literally no one else could replicate. So he became the official voice of Edna.

Gary Fixler

The two old men who commented "No school like the old school" after they defeated the giant robot are Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, 2 of Disney's "Nine Old Men" of animation (the others being Les Clark, Marc Davis, Milt Kahl, Ward Kimball, Eric Larson, John Lounsbery, Wolfgang Reitherman). They're responsible for pretty much all of the early, iconic, Disney animations. Just a little Easter egg for the animators. https://pixar.fandom.com/wiki/Frank_and_Ollie

David Crabtree

for a future animation reaction, I highly recommend the 1986 animated classic, Transformers: The Movie.

Jenny Tolls

Nah that didn’t hold up well lol it’s so cheesy and bad. Only reason people still like it is if they have a nostalgic connection to it.

The Maestro

I don't think I've seen that since it came out because I remembered almost none of that but it was great

Violet is voiced by Sarah Vowell, a writer and essayist who became known for performing vocal essays on the NPR program This American Life. Brad Byrd invited her to test for Violet based on an audio essay she performed about firing a homemade cannon with her father. She has since become a popular author. as she is fascinated by American History. Among her books are The Wordy Shipmates, a detailed look at the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Assassination Vacation, about the shootings of Presidents Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley, and Unfamiliar Fishes, about the US annexation of Hawaii from it's native folk (I recommend the audiobooks so you can hear the stories in her voice), Her stories are very informative while also funnier than a book about visiting historical plaques should ever be.

Haye Zeus

Finally a good movie. :P

Chase Schleich

George, Sony got Fantastic Four back years ago when Disney bought Fox. Remember, Mr. Fantastic was in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. They're working on an actual Fantastic Four movie as we speak.

Logan Kerlee

Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig time agreed! I would LOVE to see reactions to some of the DC animated movies!

Logan Kerlee

I'm down to watch some Bond movie reactions! They're all so much fun. I'd be happy to watch any of 'em, too. Sure - there are a couple duds but it's not like we'd request those. :P

iOmegaTron

With George's dirty mind, I'm honestly surprised he didn't point out that during the ocean scene, Dash was "motorboating" his mom...

Logan Kerlee

Had such a fun time watching this with you both! This one's filled with laughter! :)

Eric S

Im sure someones already suggested it, but you should check out Jack Jack Attack! Its a short that details the events of The Babysitting!

FranciscoGios

You guys forgot to watch the 8 minutes Pixar Auntie Edna. George the Incredibles could also be The Simpsons but with Superpowers. 👍

Steve H

normally, I'm not a cartoon fan; but I make an exception for Incredibles 1&2

JarHead0351

George, you nailed it! I did not put that (Fanatic 4) together until now. Thanks, I enjoyed watching it through both of your eyes for the 1st time. So many more out there, Heavy Metal 2000: Wreck it Ralph

Eric S

I prefer the first Heavy Metal myself, but I'm with ya on Wreck it Ralph

Eric S

That was awesome! You watched it in the video! haha That was fun. Incredibles 2 is good. its more of a mixed bag than this one, but a good watch all the same.

Kevin Bartelen

You should totally check the sequel, it picks up exactly where this one left off.

Starromania72

Jack-Jack is a pastiche of Franklin Richards, Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman's son, who has had vast reality-altering, energy-manipulating and psychic powers since he was a toddler. Jack-Jack's not quite as powerful here (ie not potential-threat-to-reality powerful) with his super-adaptive power suite but still quite a handful for a babysitter or housecall-making supervillain.

Armchair Rizzard

What are you talking about? There are dozens to hundreds of reactions on this channel. How many are sci-fi and cartoons? You sound unhinged.

redddfer44

Hm. The movie was a bit of a disappointment. Visually inventive at times, but I expect more meaningful stories from Pixar. Guess I've just had my fill of superheroes to last a lifetime. Holly Hunter was great, though. Gotta watch your YT reaction tomorrow!

Alec Zrike

A stupid detail that I love: When Bob is coming home after "going bowling", he's humming the main theme of the movie :)

Alex Ch

Jack Jack is of course a “Jack” of all trades.

Jenny Tolls

You guys should watch the short animation "Jack-Jack Attacks!" It shows what the Jack-Jack and the baby sitter were up to while he stayed at home with the babysitter and showcases more of his powers in a hilarious way. Hope you guys see this!

oldcdog

Hope you guys do Incredibles 2 soon.

djKENTO

The Birds Aren’t Real people don’t actually believe that birds are fake or surveillance devices. It’s a living parody of how stupid many conspiracies theories are, especially in the past few years.

Terrance Cooper

I’m late to the party, but I noticed George referring to Mirage’s change of heart being so quickly. I feel like Syndrome’s willingness to murder children, regardless of whether they had superpowers, was something she drew the line at. His willingness and blatant disregard of her life was the nail in the coffin for Mirage. Fun fact: although it was never confirmed in the film, but rather behind the scenes, she and Syndrome were romantically involved before and during the events of the film up until that whole scene in the containment unit.

UncleGaGa1979

I cannot be the only person who noticed that Mr. Incredible called Buddy "Brody" in the beginning of the movie, can I? It's a very quick reference to the voice actor who plays Buddy/Syndrome, Jason Lee and the character he plays in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse, Brodie Bruce..
