Boyan Konov

the nice guys is one of the most underrated movies of the last 10 yes. Absolutely hilarious!

Rokkor X

Oh man I need Bedazzled to get seen. Also the Nice Guys.

BantaClaus

The Nice Guys is probably a top 5 comedy for me and is generally super underrated

Haye Zeus

The Nice Guys is great. Hopefully this will make you guys watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang if ya’ll haven’t seen it

Fortress

The nice guys needs to win this, it's blows everything else here out of the water

Chaz Mannington

Bedazzled (2000) is one of the most underrated films in my opinion, and one of my personal favorites. It will probably not win this round, but I hope it will soon

Alexrandom

The nice guys is an incredible film. The best Shane Black and one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I think it's the movie that makes me laugh the hardest with maybe holy grail, big lebowsky and in Bruges. You guys will love it !

Ron

I voted for Bedazzled 2000, but you might find a comparison to the 1967 version fun as well.

Joe Mallard

Need more American Pie eventually, but Nice Guys FTW

Salleban

Would like to see The Other Guys in these polls, that one is hilarious! Hope it will appear soon in movie poll

Adam Wetstein

Both Nice Guys and Pet Detectives are incredible If you do bedazzled please do the British version with Dudley Moore and Peter Cook

dieselbeast

Nobody ever reacts to Bedazzled, definitely worth a reaction also Blast from the Past two of My favorite Brendan Fraser's movies, hopefully it can be reacted to sometime later this year 🙏

Maddie

I still need y'all to react to Paul! Its like a distant relative of the cornetto trilogy.

FaceMustache

The Nice Guys is so good. Much better than I would’ve ever expected. Although, with Shane Black writing, I don’t know why I thought that.

Will D

ALL OF THEM! :)

Grumples

The Nice Guys was such a pleasant surprise. I went into it not knowing much and was thoroughly pleased.

redddfer44

The Nice Guys for the win! I also voted for the atrocious American Pie 2 just so we could get to American Pie 3 at one point.

James Falato

Happy Is Adam Sandler & Jim Carrey is Ace... And Vicie-Versie...

Raymond DeGraw

Great reactions... I would love to see you react to these movies... 1. The Crow 2. Falling Down 3. Braveheart 4. The Game 5. Holes

Michael

The Niceguys is so good

AdmiralZhou

The Nice Guys is so funny, hope it wins. Should add more comedy movies like: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express, This is 40, Knocked Up, Juno You guys should check out the show “Severance”. It’s so good

Spacedone

The Nice Guys was my favourite film of 2016. Still annoyed that we never got a sequel.

Steve Matthews

You haven't watched Happy Gilmore yet?!

jmundt33a

A comedy poll with minimal laughs. Phew.

Jeff K.

Some strong choices here but The Nice Guys is the best movie here by a pretty wide margin, IMO. Also, since y’all are watching LA Confidential next, it’s the perfect follow up since it’s Russell Crowe’s other LA-based detective noir style movie. Just… a wildly different tone.

Kyle Baker

The Nice Guys is amazing!

FrancescoTakesItEasy

The Nice Guys is the shit, and come Christmas season you should definitely do Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, it's incredible.

Joe Williams

I love The Nice Guys more every time I watch it.

The Gunslinger

Could you cover Atlantis: The Lost Empire?

Jay

I like Jim Carrey but Ace Ventura is one of the most obnoxious, annoying and unfunny characters in movie history.

Tay Schumaker

If you do The Nice Guys you should do Kiss Kiss Bang Bang too

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

What a fantastic list.. But if I had to pick one, its Ace Ventura all the way

Kyle Baker

An amazing film to watch some time, is Burn After Reading.

Martin

No more American Pies. They weren’t good movies to begin with, and they aged poorly. Zoolander is the best comedy on this list. It’s still funny to this day. More comedies that need to be considered in upcoming polls: The Dictator (Sasha Baron Cohen) The Other Guys (Ferrell and Wahlberg) Stepbrothers (Ferrell and Reilly) Ted (Wahlberg and Seth McFarland) A Million Ways to Die in The West (Seth McFarland)

Neumann

Nice guys! No one ever talks about that movie and it really deserves so much more love!

Foodassassin4life

Please watch another animated series like Gravity Falls or Cowboy Bebop. Especially something like Cowboy Bebop which only has 24 episodes and one movie and is something you can use to break up a longer series

Gabriel L.

All of these are funny, but Ace Ventura has a plot point which has aged like milk. I would put Zoolander at the top easily, but it looks like most commenters are for The Nice Guys, which I have no quarrel with.

JonnyBoomstick

omg yes! Ace Ventura you're going to love it!

Tyler Foster

Ugh, Ace Ventura. I try to be positive in the comment sections, and I know many channels have done the movie, but the entire movie is tainted by a running joke that is likely to cause a lot of friction in the comment sections thanks to real-world current events and the frustrating idea that comedy must not be censored or tread carefully under any circumstances (Jim Carrey, at least, has gone on record saying he deeply regrets the joke). I don't think anybody pointing this out is going to convince you not to do it (I had hoped that you might not, given it seem to disappear from polls for a long time, and because I've seen people raise this with you before), but just be warned that not only is the joke fairly cruel and derogatory, you two might receive blowback in the form of a contentious comment section and a need to clarify your own positions just by watching the movie.

Dave

Wow, when I clicked I expected Nice Guys to be at the bottom of the list, nice to see it fighting for a spot at the top! One of my favorite comedies ever

Christoph Plank

Nice Guys is by far the best movie here.

Kinokind

The original Bedazzled is a classic. The remake on the list is harmless, but hardly a classic. Try the original on a future list? There is a certain surreal charm to Zoolander, I think.

Wes Stevens

I went with zoolander but I'm holding out hope for "zohan" someday

Callum Cowan

Ed Wood was getting a lot of love on the comments to your Plan Nine From Outer Space reaction. Would you consider doing that at some point? Or at least giving it some poll love, it's probably one of my favourites from Tim Burton, and definitely deserves a place over a few of these other picks.

Jonathan

Happy Gilmore has some great lines. Off the top of my head I can think of two I've used frequently throughout my life.

PickettsChargingPort

Bedazzled is a fun remake. Needs more love, but there is some stiff competition here

Jeff

The Nice Guys is so good. But if you do that one, you need to watch Kiss Kiss Bang Band too

Mikebdrx

Im just gonna go ahead and say that most movies reference each other. So honestly you should eventually watch all of these listed. However I have been hoping for an Adam Sandler run for a while, and Happy Gilmore would be a nice start. Id like to watch American Pie 2 and 3 along with you also.

David Crabtree

Excited if Ace Ventura wins! The comedy hits even funnier today than it did 29 years ago! Would also love to see an American Pie 2 reaction.

Sarevok84

We need to get It chapter 2 lol

Alex Ch

Please consider ‘Fletch,’ starring Chevy Chase.

ThePVO

The Nice Guys is a spiritual sequel to LA Confidential

Chris Moon

You guys should watch Horrible Bosses while you’re at it!

JayF

More comedies - Ruthless People Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Bowfinger A Fish Called Wanda I Love You to Death (I 100% guarantee Simone will love this one) 48 Hours Caddyshack Fletch National Lampoon's Vacation Stir Crazy Harlem Nights

Jay

Tucker and Dale is the closest we've come to a horror movie for a while now. A few random recommendations It Follows The Witch Barbarian Don't Look Now Hush Texas Chainsaw Massacre It Comes at Night I mean, I could list 100s but any decent horror movie sometime soon would be great.

Viktor M

Still missing Black Dynamite. Perhaps next time ;)

Jay Davis

Really looking forward to LA Confidential. And really hoping The Nice Guys tops here. It's got Ryan Gosling. You know what else has Ryan Gosling? Drive. You know what else starts with D? Dunkirk. You know. Just sayin'

Tyler Foster

As the poll continues I'm crossing my fingers that The Nice Guys can eke out a win. As many others have said, the film was overlooked in theaters, but it's very funny and should have lead to a couple more entries. Also going to echo the support for writer/director Shane Black's previous similar crime/comedy Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and also one he merely wrote, 1997's The Long Kiss Goodnight.

Win

I voted for Zoolander, Happy Gilmore and The Nice Guys. I remember enjoying the sequel to Ace Ventura more than the original, although that might be more because I watched the sequel first when I was a kid. And also, I voted for The Nice Guys even though I haven't actually seen it, I expect it to be pretty good from what I hear about it.

Rachel W

"Raising Arizona", a Cohen bros film is one of the funniest film ever. From this list-Zoolander is the correct answer.

Brendan Rafferty

Raising Arizona and A Fish Called Wanda need to be on your next comedy poll

Echo

I voted Bedazzled because 90s/00s Brendan Fraser is peak, sad to see it's losing so hope it will make another poll. Maybe a Brendan Fraser marathon? Although this is one of my least favorite of his movies, I still like it. I'm hoping someone will do Blast From the Past and I can see more of that, I love it- I think that might be my favorite Brendan Fraser movie. I'd also like to throw Mrs. Winterbourne and Encino Man into whatever hat there is, lol. I loath Ace Ventura so much. It's the cringiest of cringe and even as a 14yr old kid back then I didn't find it funny, just gross and cringe.

Brendan Rafferty

I don’t get the appeal of Jim Carrey’s rubber faced comedy schtick for anything longer than a short skit. Maybe I’m not high or maybe I wan’t six when his films came out and have some weird nostalgic attachment. He’s basically Pauly Shore with a better agent.

Rachel W

The Other Guys. Gets funnier every time I see it.

JarHead0351

"Up in Smoke" a great movie (Cheech & Chong)

Jinyatta

Canadian Bacon!

punterjoe

Have you guys watched the South Park movie? In some ways it's terribly dated.... yet in other ways, as awkwardly offensive as the day it premiered! 😎

Steve Mercier

The Nice Guys is a spectacular buddy-copesque action comedy, and is highly underrated, so The Nice Guys all the way...but if Ace Ventura: Pet Detective wins, I won't be mad.

Terdell Ferguson

Some REALLY good ones on this list, but I have to say THE NICE GUYS really does stand above the others. For my money, one of the three best films from 2016 - along with Deadpool and Rogue One. Glad to finally see this one as a choice for a reactor. Hope it wins!

sheriffjt

From Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Hestus: Actually, you know what? That's a high school graduation ring. Dan Marino High, class of 2003. Jake: Marino High, home of the Dolphins, I suspect. Hestus: Nope, Pet Detectives. Town was really into Marino's cameo in Ace Ventura. Jake: Ah, it stands to reason. Classic film, one of my childhood favorites. And it only gets overtly transphobic at the very end, so a win.

sarCC

Happy Gilmore is Sandler's funniest movie and The Nice Guys has Ryan Gosling's best (and most surprising) performance!

Deserana12

Please put Memento on a list. It’s perfect for reactions!

Brandon

Bedazzled is an underappreciated gem.

zak

Makes me so happy to see Nice Guys doing so well, one of my favourite Noir films, great blend of action, drama and comedy.

Michael Buhl

I don't have strong feelings in one direction or another about any of the movies on this poll. All the ones from the poll that I've seen are good (but not great). I will take this opportunity to recommend the original 1979 version of The In-Laws, which is a great comedy.

Armchair Rizzard

Ace Ventura is a film that i liked as a kid but aged horrifically. There is one particular aspect that is irredeemable for me, but I won't go into details in case it wins and people want to watch it.

Jenny Tolls

Meet The Parents is a classic! I hope they get to it at some point.

Peter Hudson

The Nice Guys is so underrated, it's nice to see so many others voting for it

Shibby

The Nice Guys is probably the funniest movie I've seen in the last 10 years. If it doesn't win I hope you guys watch it anyway you'll really enjoy it.

BND

while I find Ace Ventura (both movies) hilarious, the ending has become offensive to "modern audiences". Can't wait to see George and Simone squirm at the ending then talk about how it hasn't aged well - "Yeah well you know it was the 90's..." 😂

Opti_Frog

Would love to see What We Do In The Shadows (2014) on the next comedy poll, please. 😊

Hans Czajkowski Jørgensen

Just want to add Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to movies I'd like George and Simone to watch. Noir action comedy-something at its finest along with Nice Guys. It's not quite a noir spoof, not quite romance. What it does do Is use those worn vocabularies to tell a beautiful mess of a story completely out of bounds, carried by some of the sharpest dialogue you've ever heard. If you can follow RDJ's mumblings, that is. If not, just turn on subtitles. It's so worth it.

Hyperdryve

I am pleased to see Ace Ventura in the lead I dunno why 😂

Robert Finlay

I second the request for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. A great movie and the rebirth of Robert Downey Jr.'s career.

Zanforian

Please don't do Ace Ventura, the transphobia is just too much in that one.

tex gransh

I was hoping hangover 2 or jingle all the way on the pool, or mousehunt xD

Chase Schleich

Just do one film from this list per week for the next few months. They're all great. Ace Ventura (still a funny movie) is probably the least funny out of the group and it's going to win.

Garmonbozia93

Unfortunately, according to my tastes, "The Nice Guys" will not be chosen, but I'll add my own vote for you to watch it at some point, it's the best movie in that selection for me. As others have mentioned, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" is also awesome.

Khal Atlas

Solid list would love to see a reaction for all of these

Kevin Bartelen

I'm sad to see Bedazzled getting so few votes comparatively, it's a Brenden Fraser classic.

Michael Gryphon

Need to add Wayne's World, Tommy Boy, and A Night at the Roxbury to the list!

Rnd1000

Even if Nice Guys doesnt win you need to watch ot sometime in the future. That movie should have had a sequel made its was that good.

Andrew Charles

The Nice Guys is sooooo rewatchable. Gold.

Adam Wetstein

So happy you have so many Patrons

Fraser

It’s crazy that the comments are filled with people gushing about the nice guys (hope that gets noticed lol) and other folk saying that they don’t like Ace Ventura yet it’s winning

Kyle B

Ace Ventura is a movie I've watched so many times since I saw it in the theater. It is silly and ridiculous, and Jim Carrey became a huge star from it. It does however have a few jokes that age very poorly, but to say why would spoil something.

Duncan

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Cinebinge for respecting everyone's taste and opinions and allowing a fair voting procedure to dictate a poll outcome. This channel has been a breath of fresh air to the patreon and youtube reaction space and delivers countless hours of entertainment per week. I will look forward to many more years of entertainment from Cinebinge and I will trust that the channel will not allow the loud voices from the minority cancel culture to dictate which content can be banished from this world

John

Brandon Meng

Ace Ventura deserves scrutiny. Many people (like myself) love it because it's classic Jim Carrey over-the-top or it's nostalgic. You should watch it for maximum Jim Carrey fun, but yeah, it has aged poorly, and you'll know why when it happens. That being said, obligatory recommendation for Jim Carrey's best film: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And as for comedies, can we go back to the Judd Apatow era of comedies? Step Brothers Bridesmaids Knocked Up Forgetting Sarah Marshall (personal fave) Walk Hard Pineapple Express Soooo many all-time great comedies still left to choose from!

Sheens

Going to also voice my vote for The Nice Guys and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. You're doing yourself a huge disservice to not watch both of these

eric micke

The Nice Guys, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and The Man from UNCLE would be a great triple feature.

Angus Kirk

As others have said Ace Ventura Pet Detective is... problematic. TBH I'd skip it and go straight to the 2nd one (When Nature Calls) as it's much better anyway.

john francis

i would like to suggest some more John Cusack films, or maybe just run a Cusack poll with his early comedies, stuff he co-wrote, and thrillers he made later on. And Runaway Jury, of course :)

Kelly Pickard

Changing the subject from the strong theme in the comments: With Pride month right around the corner, here are some classics to consider if you feel like doing a theme for June. :) - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar - The Birdcage - But I'm a Cheerleader

Logan Kerlee

This poll is great! I voted for the top two leading films so either way I'll be happy at the end of this methinks. :)

E.P.B.F.

Gotta go with Zoolander on this one. Ace Ventura is peak Jim Carey. _Loved_ that movie when i first saw it in theater, and again when i watched it a couple years later on the small screen. Then i saw it once more a few month back and the whole thing just felt kinda flat, total disconnect from the prior experience in my memory. Had nothing to do with the content itself and the politically charged shift in present day 'allowed' humor that will trigger some younger, thinner skinned souls, but rather that the performance itself seemed not as good as i had thought it had been. Maybe there's simply an age limit to Jim Carey's specific brand of physical comedy since i can re-watch old Ben Stiller movies from roughly the same era and they still are as fresh and hilarious as the first time i saw them twenty years ago.

Rachel W

Please add "Pineapple Express" to your next list of comedies to watch.

Kasa

THE NICE GUYS CMONNNN!!!!!

Jeb Manning

These are decent, but I'd also like to suggest some other great ones: The Blues Brothers (1980) Wayne's World (1992) It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963) The Great Race (1965) What's Up, Doc? (1972) Scavenger Hunt (1979) The Meaning of Life (1983) And Now for Something Completely Different (1971) Ernest Goes to Camp (1987) Ernest Goes to Jail (1990)

804Media

Seconding "Wayne's World", but not "Wayne's World 2". Second one's basically a rehash, but Aerosmith shows up at some point.

John

Did you guys ever do any other more of the obscure tarantino ones? From dusk til dawn, true romance or death proof? I think he was somehow involved with natural born killers as well which i think youd both dig. Also did you guys watch the hateful eight?

CapN_Hoodie

Love all these movie but, in my opinion, Meet the Parents is disgustingly underrated and not talked about enough. That being said, looking forward to whatever wins

JFC

Throwing out a request for Fat Man and Little Boy (1989), about the creation of the atomic bomb, particularly at Los Alamos, NM. Simone will never look at Barclay from TNG the same again. Also, The Right Stuff (1983) since you've seen Apollo 13.
