Good list, but I have to put Blues Brothers as sole choice on this one to really boost it. What a film. A long, long time favourite I've been hoping to see appear in a poll 🙂

Luca Kelly

Stand by me for best acting 🙌

Wilss

It's not letting me vote for multiple

Onno Smits

The Blues Brothers is awesome!

Joshua White

You can do no wrong with this list.

redddfer44

Stand by Me! It’s been on my watchlist for such a long time and has suffered from the simple fact that I own it on bluray. And when I look at what I want to watch, I tend to forget what I own…

Michael Gryphon

You have to watch Vacation! That way you can watch European vacation in a couple of months, and then be ready for the all-time Christmas classic Christmas Vacation in December.

Jeff K.

Honestly? All of them. This is a poll full of absolute bangers.

Viola Rose

These are all great!

Cookoo b. W!erd?

I vote blues brothers but Simone would absolutely love the never ending story

Cinebinge

(Looks like its been fixed by Patreon) Hi folks, not sure why this polls multiple choice option isn't working, however we don't want to delete and re-post the poll neither as that would get rid of everyone's comments and opinions. So for this poll we are going to leave it as is and it will be one a one vote poll just this one time.

Raymond DeGraw

Love your reactions and always looking forward to seeing these sometime... 1. Falling Down 2. Braveheart 3. Labyrinth 4. The Game 5. The Crow

Aussiefeld

The Blues Brothers all the way!

JayF

It's a really tough decision but I went with Stand By Me only to then find out it's running away with this one heh. The Blues Brothers is a classic but I think I've warned you before that it will be a bitch to edit because of the music. Platoon is really good but I'd much rather you watch the more recent Hacksaw Ridge for your next war movie. Though you will get a reference from Tropic Thunder when you finally watch Platoon. NLV and Christmas Vacation are both hilarious. Poltergeist scared the shit out of me as a kid (I was 11). It's a good horror film. Big is one of Tom Hanks' best movies. Plus it was directed by Penny Marshall who also directed Awakenings and A League of Their Own. I hope you get to all three of those eventually.

dieselbeast

I can choose multiple options, idk why others can't maybe it's the type of browser they're using 🤔🤷

Endling_king

I'd like to see you react to the 1994 movie "Maverick" it's a movie staring Mel gibson and Jodi foster! Such a good comedy.

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

I really REALLY want Blues Brothers to win, burn this is a gold plated A-list… erm… list

Martin

Stand by Me and Platoon.

NOT Chase Lonergan

About as good a list as I've seen. I just have to give the edge to Stand By Me. I've noticed a trend with people that react that for some reason a large amount of women reactors don't love blues brothers. Frankly wouldn't have an issue seeing a reaction to any on that list

Blacky

Blues Brother is an immortal great movie. And yes it's going to be a bitch to edit and still make an interesting Youtube show, but they need the training :) There are a lot of way to make music recognizable by humans but not the bots that others do and I never saw Cinebinge try.

dieselbeast

I saw the first 40 minutes or so of the blues brothers and I was personally bored I didn't make it through the whole way, idk if I'm missing something or if some others feel the same way, I might have to watch it again and make it through and see if I feel any different 🤷

YoureMrLebowski

Neighbors (1981) is a forgotten gem. Aykroyd and Belushi.

CorpusD

I go with Blues Brothers. Good intro to Jazz, Aretha Franklin and it pulled a car maker out of the red for that year.

Margaret S E Smith

Stand by Me -- lightning in a bottle: writing, acting, directing... every aspect is above the mark. One of the few adaptations of Stephen King's work that is worthy of his storytelling. They seem to do so much better adapting his non-horror works, although they did exceptionally well with Carrie, Misery, and The Dead Zone. Gave a second vote to Poltergeist because that's just friggin' fun. :)

Marcus Hicks

Hmm, its not letting me vote multiple times this time.....

Brendan Rafferty

Blues Brothers is an absolute classic… I spent years working around live music, playing in bands… also tour managing, booking, and promoting. Most people working with bands have found opportunities to quote the Blues Brothers many times.

PG Modehouse

Unable to vote for multiple films.

Jay Davis

Geez. As an 80s kid I kinda hafta vote for ALL of these. But I'll just do Neverending Story. Think it's a must from that list.

Brandon Meng

Your polls have an amazing ability to divide your audience across the board. Sure, you get runaway winners, but I feel like polls for other channels are usually far more lopsided.

Tyler Foster

Right now Blues Brothers is eking out a win. Fingers crossed it stays this close to the end so that even if the second-place movie overtakes it, you two just do both.

Opti_Frog

I think it's absolute madness that Poltergeist is in last place, but there are at least five stone cold classics in this poll, so i'll put my hope in them.

HeyHeyJK

Yeah, I'm goin' all in on the B's this time with Blues Brothers and Big. The Blues Brothers, in particular, seems perfect for a Cinebinge thumbnail!

christopher b swanson

there is no need for a poll involving the Blues brothers, they are an automatic watch.............why.............they are on a mission from god

christopher b swanson

108 miles to chicago, full tank of gas, half a pack of smokes, its dark, were wearing sunglasses..............hit it.....

Huckleberry lobo

For your consideration on the next alien or classic 80's poll -Batteries Not Included(1987) 🛸

Gary Trousdale

Wow. Poltergeist, a Spielberg Practical FX movie is at the bottom…?

Spacedone

Blues Brothers is going to be a tricky one for Youtube. Great film though.

Michael Buhl

I wish Brazil and Raging Bull were on this list. They are both amazing '80s movies.

Matt O'Keefe

So much editing will need to be done on the music scenes for The Blues Brothers.

PIG

“…and his name, was ATREYU”

Monica Alarcon

Oooh Poltergeist, awesome! You guys should do more horror...

Robert Finlay

I like the Neverending Story but it does go on a bit.

Brendan Rafferty

One of the many great things about Blues Brothers is how many blues and soul legends were still alive and willing to personally appear and perform in this film… James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, and so on

Tim Hibbard

ALL of these, yes please!

Tim Hibbard

Simone will definitely need tissues for Neverending Story…

Young Blood Priest

There are no losers on this list but I’m shocked that National Lampoon, Platoon and Poltergeist are bringing up the rear.

Travis H

I’m voting for Big and Stand By Me. As for recommendations Game Night needs to happen! It’s from the same people who did D&D and it is considered by many to be the best comedy of the last decade. There also aren’t any other reactions for it so you two would be the first (if not one of the first if I am missing anybody)! Will also suggest Eternal Sunshine, and Paddington.

sarCC

Definitely voting Poltergeist since most older horror movies rarely do well.

Matthew Blackwood

Would love to suggest SPONTANEOUS as a recent horror Simone could handle (it’s also a romantic comedy). Sadly it flew under the radar due to a perfect storm of being hard to sell, the studio changing ownership, and being released near the start of the pando.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

This is one of the first polls I've seen where imo you can't go wrong...I chose SBM and Vacation...just cuz I think they are ripe for reaction...but all of these would be great in their own way

JonnyBoomstick

These are all awesome titles! I think another to consider is Blue Lagoon

Logan Kerlee

xD I feel bad that you both are going to watch Last Action Hero! The movie's great but in a terrible sort of way. hahahaha, I really hope that you find some pleasure in watching it. :)

Rachel W

"Poltergeist" is Spielberg and a great mix of scary/funny, they have to see that. Blues Brothers I saw recently and it's not nearly as good as I remember. It's ok, same w/Vacation-loved it as a kid, as an adult, not so much(and Simone will absolutely hate one scene in particular). Platoon is fantastic.

Blips of Our Lives

Okay, at risk of sounding crass, BIG stars TOM HANKS! How can you vote for anything other than Tom Hanks?!?!?!? Are we all crazy? (Just Kidding lol But its a good movie!) I still vote we add it to the "reconsider" pile for a new poll in the nearish future. It's a fun watch the first time and only gets super weird when you think into the plot on a rewatch lol Either way, looking forward to some 80's movie fun soon and thanks for the coming reactions.

Michael Kemmet

I'm voting Blues Brothers because I love it, but I worry about YouTube reactions to it. There's so much music that George would have to deal with for the edit. I'd hate for them to do it and then it get demonetized or something. If it does win and they choose to do it, I personally don't recommend the extended cut. This is one case where the studio got it right. The theatrical release is tighter and doesn't get bogged down as much as the extended cut does. Theatrical is 132 minutes, extended is 147.

Naw

Anyone know if they've ever seen Napoleon Dynamite?? I NEEED a Simone reaction to it. That and it's just outright Freaking FANTASTIC...

Naw

LawlZ; another 50+ comments deleted....on ANOTHER poll....smh/lmao !

Grand Moff Slackin'

Y’all should watch the BlackBerry movie, because Canada! Unless you already have, and if so, how dare you!

Anodyne

If the Blues Brothers gets up, I think the theatrical version is better paced than the extended cut that came out in the late 90's. Others may differ though.

Kool G Flores

Kind of 80s adjacent, I’d like to restate my recommendation to go back to the MCU and watch the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Especially with the 3rd one coming out recently. You guys are the best.

sol stapleton

The blues brothers got me into blues music

Rob Parry

3 more movies for a future 80s poll that should all do well on your channel Clue, Raising Arizona and Plains, Trains and Automobiles

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Suggestion: "Moon" from 2009 with Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey. Also "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. Both movies have a similar theme, so you could do just one of them but I would really watch one of them with all of you. 🙂

James Falato

If You heard fire crackers popping, don't worry... Twas Simply My Gray Cells Colliding Over Your Great Choices... GOOD STUFF...

Kyle B

I've watched Big basically once a year since I first saw it in theaters when I was 7. Couldn't click the vote fast enough.

erosennin

oh please let it be Blues Brothers!

Ryan D

Blues Brothers is a classic comedy. And Platoon is a classic war movie. Either one gets my vote.

Ben

One of the best polls you've had in a while! Obviously I've been requesting Stand By Me a few times lately so I'm hoping that will win, but honestly I'd be happy with almost all of these.

Lachlan Caldwell

The NeverEnding Story will give you nightmares. Just sayin'...

Maarten Martens

Blues Brothers baby! Good old fashioned blues brothers mayhem boys!

Adam Wetstein

It was impossible to do blues brothers. The entire movie is the songs. It is a copyright nightmare. You could definitely a watch along but a YouTube version is automatically demonetized almost immediately ( It is my favourite movie to pick up my spirts

Brandon Meng

Yes this poll is completely unrelated but how have you guys not reacted to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yet??? INSANITY. Also for 80s plz add Beverly Hills Cop, Friday the 13th and (less popular) Moonstruck to your next 80s poll!

JaneyN Guam

Can you do the second Conan movie, "Conan the Destroyer" and of course, the second mummy movie, "The Mummy Returns"? Others you could consider: "Stripes" with Bill Murray, "National Lampoon's Vacation" with Chevy Chase, "Taps" and "Legend" both with Tom Cruise and "Steel Magnolias" with Julia Roberts. You guys are doing an awesome job, love the easy banter between you two. :)

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some worthwhile 80s movies to add to the lists... "Heathers", "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life", "The Outsiders"

Michael Langille

would really love to see you guys react to "Clue" - Tim Curry and "Oscar" - Sly Stallone, both are halarious!

Rachel W

"Prizzi's Honor" and "Dangerous Liaisons" are two great 80's films to consider next time.

Daniel Gurney

Now that I know the appropriate place for my recommendations carlitos way and/ or natural born killers are my 2 favorites. I think you guys would enjoy them.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

"Ghost in the Shell", which you mentioned in your Akira reaction video :)

Liquor & Swords

I'm thinking "Last of the Mohicans" and "The War".

Chase Lonnergan

You can't go wrong with Beverly Hills Cop 1&2, Short Circuit, Clue, and The Count of Monte Cristo (Guy Pierce version)! Just saying...

Tom

Once you finish the wire, a quick series to knock out would be station eleven - last of us-like. Also, the leftovers is a great watch. For movies, parenthood, into the wild, and up in the air.

John

@cinebinge maybe try more HK cinema for simone and if George hasn't seen? Definitely War Kong Rai (chunking express, in the mood for love).

John

Also for more gritty or memorable experiences: fear and loathing in las vegas, enter the void, Requiem for a dream, prisoners, RRR, Mulholland drive, lost highway, city of god, drive, come and see.

Danny Bryant

Recommending. Donnie Yen: Enter the Fat Dragon

sol stapleton

Please do the rocky horror picture show

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

recommending almost famous and Rudy. they weren't made in the 80s.. but for future polls

TheSentry77

I'd love it if you guys would react to The Menu. Love you guys! Oh hey George, dunno what heavy metal subgenres of heavy metal you're into, but BTBAM is in town next week, got my ticket, how 'bout u ?

sol stapleton

For the next tv show I recommend monty python's flying circus

Hyperdryve

My 80s movie suggestions are Earth Girls Are Easy, The Money Pit, and Throw Momma from the Train

Ed Bairstow

TV show has got to be After life with Ricky Gervais. Simone will laugh & cry in equal measure. George will do the same, but then reflect with some profound thoughts. Thats how it works right 🤔😅😪

Ed Bairstow

Raging Bull or Rain man.

sheriffjt

Saw Butterfly Effect recommended above, thought I would recommend some films in the same genre: Timecrimes, 12 Monkeys, & Primer

John Richards

Here's a poll suggestion (I call this "first thing, let's NOT kill all the lawyers") "The Verdict" "And Justice for All" "The Rainmaker" "Presumed Innocent" "Erin Brockovich" "The Client" "The Firm"

Hunter Adams

As a comedy, I would once again recommend "Undercover Blues" (1993). Sadly, it doesn't seem to be available digitally anywhere I can find... I can't really put "The Fountain" (2006) in a genre. Somebody help me here. But you should absolutely watch it. Finally, I know musicals can be especially difficult for Youtube edits, but I think you both would like "Repo: The Genetic Opera" (2008). This one's a bit polarizing; people seem to either love it, or *really* hate it. It's definitely a thing.

nossieboy

Wow Blue Bros and Stand By Me neck and neck

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

also requesting Remember The Titans and Miracle . really great inspirational and moving movies . both about coming together through adversity

Liquor & Swords

You know what, to hell with it; please react to "Ladyhawke"!

dieselbeast

Just gonna throw out random suggestions within the gangster genre (assuming y'all haven't seen them in you personal time) lol maybe one of them could be reacted too or at least put on a poll later this year, Scarface (Al Pacino) Carlitos way (Al Pacino) A Bronx tale (Robert de Niro)

Dalvory

Would like to see you react to Prisoners (2013). It's my #1 favorite film. Prisoners feels very Fincher esque. Fincher directed SE7EN, Zodiac, Fight Club, and Gone Girl in case the name didn't ring a bell. This one is directed by Denis Villeneuve.

JayF

Based on a true story movie poll suggestion - Hacksaw Ridge (2016) Serpico (1973) A Beautiful Mind (2001) Moneyball (2011) Glory (1989) Dunkirk (2017) Rain Man (1988) (Character was based on a real person not the story) Cry Freedom (1987)

John

Could i please recommend house of 1000 corpses and the devils rejects

silverarrow06

Man, three lousy votes! 😂🙈 But then again, I like both movies very much, so I'm hoping to see you react to both soon...😄

Popcorn Yeti

Can I request Saving Mr.Banks? Tom Hanks does a pretty decent Walt Disney.

iFixSAN

Recos: Grosse Pointe Blank (adding to the hundreds already suggesting it) The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Aside from those.. how about dipping into Simone’s wheelhouse a bit more and get some Star Trek in the mix? Maybe 2-4?

Michael Gryphon

You should watch all of these films. They are all outstanding.

jackers

Watch a movie in which TOM HANKS plays cat and mouse game with LEO DI CAPRIO and is directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG. It's called "Catch me if you can".

jmundt33a

That was a tight race between the top 2.

Tyler Foster

I said it on the new poll but I just want to reiterate my support for you watching both of the top two here. I feel the odds are pretty good, I mean, three votes! Wow! (I had mistakenly thought Blues already won!) Anyway, I figure it can't hurt to add to the choir.

Jinyatta

All greats, but I'd like to throw out 1982's "The Dark Crystal" and 1979's "The Warriors" for future consideration

Astraeos

3 votes away, they definitely gotta watch Blues Brothers too
