The Gunslinger

Speaking of Animated. You should definitely check out Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Todd R

Heavy Metal

BantaClaus

How to train your dragon is one of the best animated movies ever made. And in my top 5 all time.

auto

I recommend Coraline for future animation film

Jamie Leadbetter

how have people not seen toy story or shrek! that being said how to train your dragon is an absolute masterpiece

Liam Nissan

Would love to see Hercules on an Animated Poll in future..

Joe Mallard

Sausage Party for some hilariously raunchy animation.

MacGuffinStuff

This'll be fun either way for me, I've only seen Toy Story and Toy Story 2 and I thought they were both great, I might have seen Shrek but I don't remember it, so no matter what wins, good stuff. The only animated movies I can think to recommend for the future are both Richard Linklater psychedelica, Waking Life, and A Scanner Darkly, which is Phillip K. Dick story. Oh wait, The Hobbit, the 1977 version, it was one of the first VHS tapes I remember my dad rented for me, he knew I'd love it and he was right. Ninja Scroll would be cool too.

James Lawson

YES! How To Train Your Dragon!!! It has to be. I can't wait to re-watch it :D

Pedro Pinheiro

Sad that Kubo is a bit too obscure to ever win. I'd really love to hear you guys' take on it.

Bango Skank

There is no way that Toy Story was 1991. Should be 1995 I think

Aussiefeld

i am looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 3, it is a great movie

JayF

I would rather fling myself off a bridge than see Inside Out again but there are some really good ones on the list. I wasn't sure if HTTYD or Shrek would be leading before I clicked. This could be an interesting battle but I think it will lean to HTTYD because it's new to both of you.

Adam Wetstein

Could George and Simone please watch the new Korean American film Past Lives i be home interested in young person and an Asian immigrant person view of this future Oscar film.

Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez

We need you to watch all of them 😁and yes...Toy Story is not 1991 but 1995, I assume you can't edit it so is fine

Mindistala

HTTYD is fantastic, you should absolutely consider watching the 2nd and 3rd one too! Another animated movie to consider is Puss in Boots The Last Wish, it's the 2nd puss in boots movie but you don't need to have seen the first one to follow along.

AgentFalcon

For future animated reactions I would love to see Rango (2011).

Wrencher86

Tough to see Kubo getting trounced so bad. It's a lovely and charming film with some honestly impressive action sequences.

TD

Super Troopers is an amazing comedy, and The Perfect Storm is an awesome true story drama/action.

Liesmith

No love for Soul, Kubo, or Inside Out? Smh my head.

Richard Maurer

I hate to see Wreck it Ralph in the same poll with HtTYD or Shrek because I know it's going to lose. Sorry, but I prefer Wreck it Ralph. It just speaks to me more than the others.

j c

"Toy Story (1991)" George trying to trick everyone into feeling old

Muir Lyman

Toy Story was released in 1995.

Wyatt Nuxoll

Regardless of what wins , Simone needs to watch Shrek. Wreck it Ralph is also another great one that you would bolth love .

Jason McCloud

I'm never able to vote for more than one for some reason. Anyone else have that problem?

Wyatt Nuxoll

I've had the same issue , log out of patreon and then sign back in , that usually does it

Gary Trousdale

I keep hoping some of the forgotten Disney ones will show up: Brother Bear, Atlantis, Treasure Planet.

Brianna Williams

Toy Story came out in 1995. I'd love if you guys watched Clue (1985) at some point.

Maarten Martens

I would have picked Inside Out but I like to see fresh reactions :) Train your dragon is a solid film, and Shrek is definitely worth watching too.

HeyHeyJK

I'm glad HTTYD is far in the lead. Simone, in particular (cuz d&D) needs to see this, but George will love it, too, and then we get reactions to the whole trilogy. I had to throw in a vote for "Kubo" though. Beautiful film that not enough people saw.

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

Toy story should just bypass the poll and be watched lol

Monica Alarcon

The Lego and Lego Batman Movies would be great...

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

I voted for WIR as I find it more fun when neither has seen a movie and it would have been my top choice anyways...HTTYD is proly my least fav on the poll so not surprised it is winning..haha

Hawke

The new Nimona would be a great add to the list too.

Jose Robles

oh come on! all of this are great!, well I haven´t seen Soul but all the others are great so you watch them all!

Jordy's_Here!

All great choices honestly! This is a hard one! Although I'm a little hurt that Soul isn't winning 😭 I was genuinely openly weeping while while watching it! Not so much because it's sad, but because it's just a beautiful film. Not just the animation, but the story of an individuals humanity and of those around us. It's a beautiful film and I hope you guys get around to it at some point 😁

jmundt33a

Thank goodness Kubo isn’t leading. Have they done ParaNorman if they want a Laika film? And Toy Story came out in ‘95.

JayF

Some old school animated films that deserve a reaction. I can't recall much if anything in these that didn't age well - The Rescuers (1977) The Rescuers Down Under (1990) An American Tail (1986) An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (1994) Wizards (1977) The Secret of NIMH (1982) The Hobbit (1977) (To me there is no PJ Hobbit trilogy, just this movie) The Lord of the Rings (1978) Charlotte's Web (1973)

The Maestro

you guys should watch more Karate Kid

Tim T—

Sorry for spamming: I recently went through my movie library and noted some movies, I’d like a reaction for. Don’t know if’s something for everyone, some slightly more weird stuff there. But at least I got it out of my mind and (hopefully) in the great Excel list in the Canadian Sky: 8 Femmes (2002) A Fish Called Wanda (1988) Brazil (1985) - !!! Casino (1995) Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) Downfall (2004) Das Boot/The Boat (1981) - preferably the 1997 Director’s Cut Encounters at the End of the World (2007) Face/Off (1997) Gattaca (1997) Gosford Park (2001) Gravity (2013) Hackers (1955) Kelly’s Heroes (1970) L’Auberge Espagnol (2002) Les Amants du Pont-Neuf (1991) Lost in Translation (2003) Minority Report (2002) Night on Earth (1991) Moon (2009) Orlando (1992) Primer (2004) Reality Bites (1994) Romeo + Juliet (1996) Ronin (1998) The Beach (2000) The Big Blue (1988) The Fisher King (1991) The Last Emperor (1987) The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) The Name of the Rose (1986) - !! The Right Stuff (1983) Tremors (1990) - !!! Toni Erdmann (2016) Waterworld (1995)

Steve Mercier

How to Train your Dragon all the way...all three movies...

Lachlan Caldwell

I'd like to see George and Simone react to various Muppet Movies: The Muppet Movie (1979) The Great Muppet Caper (1981) The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) Muppet Treasure Island (1996)

Alex Ch

The pinnacle of ‘90s action/thriller movies is Face/Off and I think that would make a great reaction.

Mark Messer

Whatever wins, im for it. Good choices. I hope you get to watch all of them at some point. Also like others have said, Treasure Planet and Atlantis the Lost Empire are both underrated animated films from the early 2000s. Im sure those they would get good attention if you put those on a future poll

DM DC

How to Train Your Dragon, for sure is my first choice. I generally prefer movies that neither of you have seen yet. But I also am excited for Shrek at some point in the future, I love that movie it's so great. Wreckit Ralph is also a super good movie though! I can't wait for that one some day either.

Lady Shar

I would love to see yall react to Despicable Me 2 and Monsters Inc 💕

My_Cousin_Mose

Animated movies for next time- The Last Unicorn (1982) The Secret of Nihm (1982) The Plague Dogs (1982...great year for animated movies) 9 (2009)

TheSentry77

So sad to see Kubo get so little love. It is an amazing, moving, superbly animated film!

Bill Woods

Kimi no Na wa [Your Name.] (2016) Ratatouille (2007)

pretzels4wetzel

I think you guys would like Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Ratatouille, and Fantastic Mr Fox

GBmain

A lot of people have already suggested some of my favs so I'm going to request: Rush 2013 - it's a True story, Sports, Rivalry type film; racing related but since you guys like Ford v Ferrari, it's along the same lines, Popcorn in Bed did it and I think it was quite successful for her, F1 has a big following these days, would love to see it on a list, but it may take sometime to win, there's other big sports movies you've yet to get to lol

Florian

Ok, what if I vote for all... 😅

Charlotte Drolet

Obviously, no one should go through life and have never watched Toy Story. It's been a world law since 1995!

gfixler

Anyone know if they've mentioned Witcher seasons 3 and 4, or if they ever did season 1? I can only find season 2 here, and it's hard to search comments, and effectively impossible to search their commentary from every video. I feel like maybe they did S1, and then had some copyright issues; I know a bunch of videos got struck down a year or two back.

W T

I didn't even realize Shrek is on the menu because I just zone out with the "only new"-picks for the most part... but yeah, glad it pulled a second because that's a no-brainer. I mean, all of those are, but hey, Shrek is truly something else and definitely required reading for the last decade of Internet culture. The movie is like an onion: it's got an ass that makes me wanna cry.

Michael Langille

A Bug's life and Antz were 2 competing animated movies in the 90's, released very close together, both loaded with celebs, Hollywood vs SNL kind of battle. Adding 1999 Tarzan, just cause everyone cries during the Phil Collins songs... and that's ok.

jmundt33a

Antz is a rushed uncanny valley nightmare wrapping a “ family friendly” Woody Allen film. Weird when it came out and time has not been kind. The Pixar flick Katzenberg was trying to cripple holds up better.

romeo-a-go-goat

If HTTYD ends up winning please watch the whole trilogy. It is one of the most consistently good franchises I've ever seen.

Adam Wetstein

A piece of Shrek trivia, the costume that Lord Farquarrd is based on the costume of Prince Humperdick in The Princess Bride

dieselbeast

Not enough kids who grew up in the nineties on here, oh well lol toy story would have been fun 😊

Brandon Meng

Not animated, but with you guys just having done Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I think you should do a romantic comedy poll: Forgetting Sarah Marshall About Time Midnight in Paris Love Actually 500 Days of Summer Silver Linings Playbook Knocked Up I'm probably missing a few but I feel like this is a solid place to start

jmundt33a

Agree with all these but Midnight and 500. The Woody Allen archetype has always been uncomfortable for me and swapping in Owen Wilson isn’t enough of an improvement. Though I do like the concept.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Since you're making the Patreon-only series One Punch Man, I would like to suggest another anime (not the recent live action series): "Cowboy Bebop" from 1998. It is also a relatively short series - one season, containing 26 episodes.
