A hovercraft can indeed go on both land and water :D As far as I remember, the skirt is there to contain the air cushion underneath, which gives it enough lift to stay "floating" The whole appeal of them were that they could go onto a beach, pick people up and then scoot into the water again. They did fall out of fashion though, since they were quite expensive and required a lot of maintenance, but there was a period of time here in Europe, where there were a lot of tourist tours by the Mediterranean using these things

Wish jet li was as loved as Jackie is in America. I only like probably 5 of Jackie martial arts films because his fighting style has just nvr done it for me. Jet has some awesome flicks but reactors only watch boring ass hero lol. I’ve seen some unleashed reactions lately though so there’s hope

There were also complaints about how noisy they were. Anyhow, I never really had a use for them. I always got around by jetpack. (The Rocketeer, anyone?)

I was just thinking of adding this movie to my weekly movie campaign since Beverly Hills Cop was done...

Tomas Gaspar

some game gears at the time had a game on the board installed like on the Master System

HeyHeyJK

To add to my comment on the YouTube version (I never know which place is best to comment), I worked in the post-production office on a film Jackie starred in called "The Medallion" which came out in 2003 and got to see the original footage of shots where Jackie did wear wires and harnesses for some stunts, which I think the insurance company insisted on every now and then. I'm pretty sure it was a rarity in his overall filmography. Sadly, since the film had already finished shooting I never got to meet Jackie, but did get a free trip to London out of it (for a whopping 36 hours, not counting time in the air to/from LA) to pick up and hand carry audio tapes from the film that had ended up in London where the VFX were being done. RitB is definitely not one of Jackie's best, but it's always a thrill to see him in anything. Legend, indeed.

this was the movie that finally got Jackie Chan over with Hollywood, you can say, American audiences at this time knew Jackie from his movies in Hong Kong through VHS, but Jackie's early attempts at American film did not go over well. This Movie was a big box office hit in America and got Hollywood exes to go ok let's get some projects for him and he going to get us big box office returns. Ritb might not be Jackie's best effort, but it was enough to finally get his foot in the door and lead to bigger projects like Rush Hour and Shanghai Noon

Danika Silva

Please watch him in the movie "The Foreigner" 💯💯💯👍🤞🇨🇦🤞

Ashley Minor

oh yes, one of my fave Chan works.

I also comment here and there, but always try to leave a comment on Youtube if I watch the reaction just so there's public activity on the channel. I figure it's good for the algorithm.

In honor of Paul Reubens death... I'd like to request Pee Wee's Big Adventure... it is a classic

That's really sad. Didn't know that Reubens had died before your message. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure really is a great movie, and it's hard to pinpoint why exactly it works so well.

I definitely prefer original language and subtitles. Would greatly prefer that for reactions, so just casting my vote on that as a longtime follower and more recent member here :P

When this movie came out 29 years ago (!!!!!!!!!), I saw it in theaters, but because I live in small town Louisiana, the closest theater to my house that was showing it was literally 90 minutes away! Also, when it came out in February of 1996, I loved it. Looking back on it, besides the action set pieces (which hold up extremely well), this movie is cheesy as fuck!!!!!!
