Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

I recently watched the South Park film for the first time in years and completely forgot how brilliant it is. So that'll easily get my vote.

Bonny T

When Harry Met Sally! If not now, then in the autumn or NYE 🙏🏼

BantaClaus

I can see Simone absolutely losing it watching south park

Śéáń

Booksmart is great. I hate to sound cliche and say "it's underrated", but it is pretty underrated.

Parabolica

I just watched Booksmart for the first time and easily best new-to-me movie I’ve watched in the last year.

Steve Matthews

The Wedding Singer is so hilariously quotable and one of Adam Sandler's "Big Four" in my opinion. The other three being Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and The Waterboy.

Onikaze

have suggested more Cohen Bros movies in the past so I'm fully behind Raising AZ. Just don't forget to follow up with Miller's Crossing and The Hudsucker Proxy :P.

DonkyDave

Thanks so much for doing the “two” winners from last week poll!

Mikebdrx

Yes thanks for doing two winners. Heat is a great movie but definitely looking forward to Magic Man and El Diablo 😜

Eric Mc Daniel

I just rewatched the South Park movie this weekend, so I hope it wins. (Can’t wait to see Simone’s face at some of the jokes) lol

Brant

Raising Arizona basically shaped my sense of humor growing up. One of the Coens’ best.

Eik104

Clerks is the right answer

Mark D

Can’t wait for the South Park reaction. It’s gonna be epically hilarious

Rob Parry

I think it’s been recommended before but I recommend CLUE from 1985

TD

Can I recommend Super Troopers? Great comedy movie. The sequel, Super Troopers 2 is set on the Canada/US border. Another great comedy is Horrible Bosses.

jmundt33a

The Wedding Singer is Adam Sandler’s best effort. And that’s not the backhanded compliment it seems. And Oscar from 1991 is hilarious. Loaded cast and still a personal favorite three decades later.

Pepijn Schmitz

I seem to only be able to select one?

JayF

Clerks all the way here. I gave WHMS a vote because it's the RomCom that all others should be measured against but Clerks is the clear choice here IMO.

Johnny Liu

Are you guys going to continue with Harold and Kumar? Escape from Guantanamo Bay is pure cinema.

keeperofthegloom

Looks like South Park has an early lead. Get ready for some copyright fights on that one!

Labcurmudgeon79

Wish I could vote for raising Arizona 100 times.

DracJeriba

I'm somewhat baffled by the lack of western movies on this channel. There would be quiet a few i would consider must watch (and that's not an opinion, that's a fact xD).

Col. Orange

It’s not gonna win, but Booksmart is a real treat.

DracJeriba

I think the greatest submarine movie of all time deserves to be at least on a poll. Das Boot (1981) is such an awesome movie and has a great directors cut.

Martin

Why am I not surprised that Simone has already seen When Harry Met Sally? Great movie, though.

AlimonyMoney

I may be the few, but I really liked Clerks 3. A good way to end the trilogy.

Jason McCloud

How is Raising Arizona not towards the top? Easily one of my favorite Coen brothers films

Martin

Other great comedies: Stepbrothers (Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly) Ted 1 and 2 (Mark Wahlberg, Seth MacFarlane) A Million Ways to Die in the West (Seth MacFarlane, Charlize Theron) Pineapple Express (Seth Rogan, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson).

Sean Barbante

If it's not already on the schedule, I was wondering what happened to The Nice Guys? It came in second to Ace Ventura on the May 22 comedy poll. Subsequently, the third (Happy Gilmore) and fourth (Zoolander) place movies were relisted on polls, won and were posted. It hasn't shown back up on any polls, so I figured it was coming up in the rotation. If not, and it's put on a new poll, I will vote for it right away.

Jade Richardson

Hope you guys are all having a good start to your week! This one should be fun!✌🏻

Jonathan B.

Another vote for Booksmart. Saw it in theaters and, non-relatable perspective of rich Cali kids aside, absolutely loved it. Shame to see it so slept on.

UNC

As much as I loved South Park in my childhood.. The movie does not hold up well over time IMO. Clerks has my vote!

James Falato

George needs to React-To "When Harry Met Sally"... one of My Favorite Comedies... And Yes,, George,, i Say Uncategorically, You'll Enjoy This Film... And "Raising Arizona" will be... Well, it's a Coen Brothers Flick need I say more...

Grand Moff Slackin'

There is a special time for every reaction channel when they finally watch Heat. Folks, we’ve arrived.

redddfer44

Recommendation: Greta Gerwig's "Little Women".

Andy Rio

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is very funny.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

I voted Booksmart even though I'm not at all surprised it is toward the back of the pack..I hope you give it a chance at some point..it is a wonderfully funny film...It will probably never win a poll against bigger names though...exactly the type of smart, funny, smaller film that will never win a poll....

Armchair Rizzard

I actually think South park would go over very well considering how much they loved Team America.

Jinyatta

Canadian Bacon! It makes both Americans and Canadians look ridiculous

Nick W.

I'll throw out Due Date (2010) for a future potential comedy. Genuinely surprised there are barely any reactions on YT. Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis (yup, had to copy-paste this one), Jamie Foxx, Danny McBride, and many more. Crazy cast and just way too funny.

BlindPanda

I love “when Harry Met Sally” definitely Simone trying to throw in one of her favorites for people to watch 🤘🏻

Brendan Rafferty

The South Park movie is going to make for an interesting edit challenge because it’s a musical. I’m surprised Raising Arizona isn’t polling better

sarCC

Booksmart and Raising Arizona are both so great. But the South Park movie is jaw-droppingly incredible.

Chris

Obviously it's clerks

bietz

Gotta be Clerks—one of the most important movies of the 90s and hilarious. Besides Chasing Amy, it is the Kevin Smith movie I enjoy the most.

MR

Black Dynamite (2004). I promise you won't be disappointed!

Travis H

It’s not going to win but Booksmart would make a fantastic reaction video! Recs: Game Night, Paddington, and make sure you are prepared for Barbie when that comes out.

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤It would be interesting if When Harry Met Sally won, but while it's still early in the poll, sadly I don't think George is going to be having what Simone is having (IDK, you would have had to have seen that movie to get that joke LOL). But maybe if they watch South Park BLU It may convince Simone to start watching South Park. Random Movie Rec time: "The Jerk" - Classic Steve Martin "Glory" "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1990) "Beetlejuice" "The Other Guys" - One of my favorite Will Ferrel Comedies, I put it right up there with Anchorman and Talladega Nights (my personal opinion) "The Whale" (I know it was on a poll already but its fantastic) "Sausage Party" - EXTREMELY outrageous animated movie about food I think would get a bonkers reaction to LOLLL. Seth Rogan, Edward Norton, Salma Hayek, and so many other big stars do voices for it. "The Departed" "What We Do In The Shadows" - There is also a TV show, and if you ever react to the movie and like it, you will likely love the show too. The show would never be something you would get to on this channel as it's been renewed for its 6th season (so I imagine theres just too many seasons at this point), you have so many other shows in the pipeline, have only so much bandwidth for TV on this channel, ect BUT... definitely recommend it for a personal viewing. Great show for that "you" time :)

Jonah

Not even a question. SP Bigger longer uncut is hilarious and super fun. I didn't even look at the rest of the list before I voted, however after double checking I'd still pick it 10/10 times. lol Hope it wins or at least gets close enough that they watch it as a runner up lol.

Steve Mercier

Really torn between Clerks and Booksmart on this one...and there's always Raising Arizona, too...

NareikAC

Has to be south park

Rob Church

Do we have to watch European Vacation to get to Christmas vacation?

Tyler Foster

So sad to see that When Harry Met Sally is not doing so well. I hope it gets considered just as a non-polled movie closer to NYE. I also am going to echo a few people here and say you can just skip European Vacation and go straight to Christmas Vacation.

Maarten Martens

Haven't seen Clerks, but the trailer looks promising. Seems like a perfect film for a reaction video.

HauntSlider

Just going to warn you.. If you choose "Clerks" it's going to lead to a whole series of movies that you'll enjoy. :)

Rachel W

Raising Arizona is brilliant.

NareikAC

I dont know why Clerks is so high its a terrible movie

Ben

I'm not going to say 'Clerks' is bad, because obviously so many people love it, but I'm definitely one of the people who doesn't "get" it, and I really don't get it... Then again some people say the same about 'This is Spinal Tap', and I LOVE that movie, I can laugh out loud while others sit there bored. Well "Bored" is the main emotion I felt when I tried to watch 'Clerks'. I guess it's just not for me.

Will

Clerks 2 is better than Clerks.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Just a note that some recent films are now on streaming that are very worthwhile.. Asteroid City (I love all Wes Anderson movies) and The Super Mario Bros

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some other comedy requests... Thoroughbreds (Dark Comedy) (2017), Hollywood Shuffle (1987), and Swingers (1996)

Mike Miner

Clerks making a comeback! If nothing else, it's completely inspiring to know that Kevin Smith sold everything he had and went into debt just to get a film made in the early 90s... when pretty much anyone can make a similar quality movie on their phone today. Love South Park too, but I'm rooting for Clerks since it's new to both.

Clint Farley

No love for Booksmart. Also you should do Game Night, no react channels have done it.

Happy Hanukkah

Since this august gathering is seemingly unenthused by National Lampoon's European Vacation, I'm going to suggest Eurotrip (2004) instead. Maybe I was just in a good mood when I first saw it, but I consider it funnier and surprisingly more good-natured than most of its American-teen-sex-comedy colleagues.

Pearl Jam

Suggestions: Jumanji: The Next Level Kung Fu Panda 3 The Lego Movie The Lego Batman Movie Free Guy

james repka

Raising Arizona is the best film on this list BY FAR (go figure -- It's the Coen brothers again). The South Park film is also hilarious -- anybody can make someone laugh with shock value material, but what Matt and Trey do is take shocking material and make it genuinely funny. I think Clerks is a legitimate good movie (the sequels, not so much), but it's a distant third here.

Hakuna

Gonna suggest The Gentlemen, think it would make a fun reaction

Jacob King

Raising Arizona!!! Also it’d be really great if you guys looked into Steven Soderbergh’s filmography a little bit beyond Oceans Eleven. Out of Sight or Logan Lucky would both be great films to react to.

sol stapleton

recommendation. Monty pythons: the meaning of life.

gfixler

Tomorrow is the end of The Wire. Finally time for my favorite childhood show, Sidekicks ('86-'87 - spun off from Disney's The Last Electric Knight), starring Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers) as a cop chosen by Sabasan (Keye Luke) to take care of his grandson, the Last Electric Knight, played by Ernie Reyes, Jr., who then starts using his martial arts skills and Raidenesque electrical powers to help solve crimes. It's as amazing as you'd imagine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-L3LxdJg8I

DinChild

Raising Arizona is brilliant.

JoeySnowyNoey

Any of these would be awesome but I love Raising Arizona. One of my favorites of all time.

bietz

Y'all, it's a vote between Clerks and South Park at this point. Give George something new! And not something that's a musical - which will be a pain for George to edit for YT. :)

Studio

Definitely do CLERKS. It's better since you both haven't seen it and it's one of the biggest inspirations to me and a lot of people. It's a truly amazing film that is one of the reasons I wanna make movies today.

Dalvory

Would love for you guys watch The Insider, directed by Michael Mann. It’s the best whistleblower story I’ve seen. It’s also a true story, of course with liberties taken.

damon burn

If South Park doesn't win, I WILL blame Canada!

rick movienerd

We sure enjoy watching you both. Here is a few suggestions to watch. Eight legged freaks(comedy horror), down periscope(comedy), the accountant(action), thirteen ghosts(horror), the abyss directors cut(sci fi). Stay safe

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

I think the polls would be more interesting if you could only choose one film

Logan Kerlee

While both of the things I selected are in the top spot, I'd of preferred for it to be the other way around. No worries though, one day I'll get to see a reaction to Clerks. :)

Jared Jemison

Raising Arizona still has a chance! VOTE VOTE VOTE

windyWin

I voted for everything else except for South Park.

Jeb Manning

I would recommend the 1973 martial arts action movie Enter the Dragon for its 50th anniversary, if that's OKay? It stars Bruce Lee, John Saxon, and Jim Kelly. It's about a shaolin monk and martial-arts expert who acts as a spy to infiltrate an island fortress and help capture a crime lord. Lee enters a kung fu competition in an attempt to fight his way to the center of the crime lord's headquarters with the help of some other martial artists. It's great because it mixes impressive martial arts kung fu action with spy movie influence from the James Bond series. It's one of the best action movies, with amazing action scenes and a few pretty brutal deaths. It's also a beautifully shot movie, with its final sequence involving mirrors being a highlight. I's also sadly the last movie Bruce Lee worked on before his untimely and tragic death at age 32. Bruce Lee would unfortunately not live long enough to see Enter The Dragon completed.

Shibby

Will we be getting a CineTalk & After Thoughts for July?

Chase Lonnergan

I must recommend: Beverly Hills Cop 2 (the first two are basically a set) Short Circuit From Dusk 'Til Dawn The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) Clue And how on EARTH have we not watched A Knight's Tale yet?

Ballsac McGee

I highly recommend a film called the kid detective (2020). It's a great little movie, super clever movie with a really dry sense of humour. I think you guys would appreciate it.

Dakota

I feel like you guys should watch The Great Mouse Detective. A fantastic animated Disney movie from the 80's.

Fabian Kracik

I will not stop suggesting "free guy"... so please consider this masterpiece for an upcoming poll. Greetings from germany

Brianna Williams

The Wedding Singer and Booksmart are both great.

Jay Davis

I'm new here in the past week. Has anyone ever suggested "Swingers"? It's a funny, incredibly quotable, very cool, and all around great movie. Additionally, it was the breakthrough for Jon Favreau (acting and writing), Doug Liman for directing (you may recognize his directing from other films like The Bourne Identity and Edge of Tomorrow), and a very, young yet still hilarious and loveable Vince Vaughn before he was Vince Vaughn. Also, since I'm just rambling at this point (sorry!), the movie "Clay Pigeons" isn't a "react" channel type watch, but it's a dark comedy with a still young Vince Vaughn (playing a character you wouldn't exactly expect) AND a young Joaquin Phoenix.

gfixler

I think you guys would love Nobody, with Bob Odenkirk.

Tim Hilton

I've been watching your reactions for about a year. You guys are the best. Your reactions are the only ones I REwatch. I just rewatched your Jumanji-Welcome to the Jungle reaction. You seemed to like it and it got a lot of views. Any plans to watch "The Next Level"? It's on par with the previous one.

Lorkein

I want to know what Simone and George think of that "Death Star" theory in Clerks...

John

a few to push that will likely get better than average viewers based on other channels that are definitely worthwhile, or are a wild watch: prisoners (2008) -one of the best stressful films from Denis Villeneuve Incendies -gripping gritty film from Denis Villeneuve fear and loathing in las vegas -great wild depiction of drug use bruno (borat actor) -probably as funny as borat but maybe more outrageous battle royale -good japanese film in style of lord of the flies and inspired hunger games mulholland drive -notoriously cryptic to audiences and good first step to david lynch films sinister -decent disturbing horror supposedly notoriously scary by using focus groups heartrate fluctuation being john malkovich- surreal absurd comedy drama and first dive into charlie kaufman

punterjoe

I'm voting for South Park simply because I want to see Simone & George's faces when the big OSCAR NOMINATED musical number comes up. 😁

JarHead0351

"UP in Smoke" would fun to react by Simone & George

Christopher Greenley

Up in Smoke by Cheech and Chong sounds like a great suggestion

FischerMax98

A South Park movie beat Raising Arizona and Clerks? What is the world coming to? Lol Sure I'll enjoy the reaction, but still...

windyWin

I cant wait till you both watch Breaking Bad, even just the first season. Im looking forward to the reaction. :)

Logan Nelson

Kiss, kiss, bang, bang... Great flick and one of Iron Man's best performances...

redddfer44

Well damn. The way comedies have been dominating lately, it looks like I can't justify the highest tier backing next month either :( They're great fun at best and utterly unwatchable at their worst. I recall the South Park film being a lot of fun, though, so that should be a nice reaction.

Johnny B. Goode

You guys need to react to Dead Presidents! Great movie IMO. Absolutely love the channel!

Johnny B. Goode

Oh, and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Hilarious movie.

steve

Watch Bowfinger if you haven't seen it!

Salleban

Man, still waiting The Other Guys in one of these polls. That movie is so good

Andy Rio

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is very funny.
