*Points at left side of thumbnail* I ain't afraid of no man. But that thing......it scares me, Dutch

Prof. Writhms

Simone sort of looks like Marv from "Home Alone" in that thumbnail. 🤣

Nick Scholz

The invisible fire thing is real. One occurred in 2010.

Byron

To complete the outrageous Will Farrell filmography, Stepbrothers is a must

Jeff K

I wish I could say I was joking when I say that people in the theater un-ironically clapped and cheered when Ricky Bobby wins going in reverse. It should surprise no one when I follow that up by saying I live in Texas. And guys, what does America taste like? Hot dogs and Bud Light. Duh.

Jeff K

And for more outrageous John C. Reilly, they need to watch both that AND Walk Hard.

Tmatts

"Is this an exaggeration of the ads?" Nope. If anything, race cars IRL have even more ads on them.

PastaDon

YES!! I'm with Simone, we need more Molly Shannon's in the world.. dude, her Mary Katherine Gallagher skits on SNL are the best imo.. "sometimes when I'm nervous, I stick my hands under my armpits and I smell them like this".. 🤣🤣 SNL mid to late 90's was the sh**

Robiks

Another racing movie, another recommendation to check out Rush. It's about F1 racing in the 70's, based on a true story about a legendary rivalry.

FaceMustache

Good ol’ “Talla-dee-ga Nights”. (I’m just teasing ;P)

Jeff K

I still haven't seen that one but heard great things. That's the one with Thor and Baron Zemo, right?

Logan Kerlee

I really enjoyed watching this! Looking forward to the full version whenever that gets put back up online. :)

HeyHeyJK

Seeing John C. Reilly in this makes me remember you guys really need to watch "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story". Really great spoof of rock stardom co-starring Jenna Fischer from "The Office". Covers all the major eras of rock history and has some great songs in it.

Monica Alarcon

Okay, I think that thumbnail will haunt my dreams... Scariest yet..."

Alec S

Seconded for Walk Hard, it is such a great trip through the ages of music. All songs originally written for the movie, and some real bangers too! Easily stands the test of time.

JLee

George C. Riley...

imRhum

Definitely would enjoy seeing your reaction to Blades of Glory and/or Semi-Pro aka other films from unofficial Will Ferrell sports trilogy.

David Allard

they push the cars because they don't have normal transmissions. ie. low gears

Odd Thomas

Stranger Than Fiction is a good Will Ferrell movie

Odd Thomas

Amy Adams was not a big star in 2006, hence the small role. Enchanted was her breakthrough role for Disney the following year. She was Oscar nominated for an indie film called Junebug but very few people saw it in 2005. Drop Dead Gorgeous is another early comedy of hers I HIGHLY recommend.

Odd Thomas

Michael Clarke Duncan was so great in everything; so sad he passed away so young. One of his films you haven't seen yet is The Island, a Michael Bay actioner with Ewan McGregor and ScarJo. One of Bay's better films.

Russ Verbofsky

alcohol fuel is used in Indy cars and I have seen fires with it that you only see a mirage of the flames

Jeff K

I still cannot believe that dude was actually married to Omarosa of "Apprentice" infamy. How? Did he not realize how far out of her league he was as a human being?

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Requests that this reminded me to make again... Junebug, Step Brothers, Nocturnal Animals

Jeff K

With Nocturnal Animals you just reminded me it’s that movie with both Amy Adams AND Isla Fisher. And that just reminded me that Sacha married his Ricky Bobby co-star’s doppelgänger just a few years after making this movie.

Andrew

The actress who plays Ricky Bobby's mom is an absolutely hilarious actress named Jane Lynch. She's in a really funny, under-the-radar show called "Party Down." And of course the classic "Role Models." Highly recommend both!

Wrencher86

This movie so heavily and thoroughly satires a very specific US culture that is absolutely huge in certain areas and completely alien to pretty much the entire rest of the world. Curious to see how you guys interpret this stuff. Also, if you'd like to see John C. Reilly nearly steal a movie from heavy hitters like DiCaprio and Daniel Day Lewis, check out Gangs of New York.

Jeff I.

Yes! Gangs of New York is a classic. Daniel Day-Lewis gives a masterclass in acting in that one! (like everything else he does, to be fair)

Moni Castaneda

oooh this movie reminded me to remind you that you should watch Final Destination 4 because of.... no reason...

HeyHeyJK

Oh, yeah, George mentioned that he hadn't seen any of the actors in "Napoleon Dynamite" in other things but Jon Heder - Napoleon himself - was in "Blades of Glory"!

R. Chang

If you ever want to watch a Will Ferrell movie that's not a madcap comedy, I think that Stranger than Fiction is possibly his best movie. It is funny, but it is also poignant and thoughtful. It's a movie about an existential crisis, the value of art, baked goods and a wristwatch.

Ginger

Yes, please watch Stranger Than Fiction. It's a sadly underrated film with Will Ferrel actually being likeable!

Diplo's Sandwich

Stranger Than Fiction is in my Top 20 all time list. Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Queen Latifah.

Darin Foat

I heartily second all of the suggestions for Stranger Than Fiction. It's fantastic.
