No Sync Required Version: https://cinebingers.ca/l39P7xEa35 - For Patreon tier "Bingers on The Wall" or higher.

The Unrated copy was the only one we had access to, we know this is always a debate in every movie with multiple versions, sometimes theatrical is better other times uncut or extended is better. In this case the limited options made the decision for us.

FYI Simone, if you ever need extra internet visibility, there seems to be an audience for short videos of women chopping firewood :D

Taylor Misun

Well this is one of those cases where the unrated is better than the theatrical cut

Deserana12

Some future suggestion I hope y’all get too - Memento (2000) The Social Network (2010) John Wick 4 (2023) The Raid 2 (2014)

Jay Davis

Poor Simone and the story about cabbage. She didn't even get a chance to win Willy Wonka's factory! She definitely would have been Charlie in that story.

MacGuffinStuff

Not gonna lie, my dad taught me to drive fast too, I try not to, but sometimes I have to. "Step Brothers", trust, that shit is funny. Also, I think Mike Honcho is just another alias for Chest Rockwell. Hoping for a reaction to "Angels Live In My Town", but Boogie Nights would suffice. "Smokey and the Bandit" would be an interesting reaction from you guys too, and then maybe "Cannonball Run" lol, I think that's some American stuff a Canadian would have a fun perspective on.

Diiirk706

Reeeeeeeeeally hate they torrent everything, pain in the Ass to find versions to sync....sigh

MacGuffinStuff

Yeah that driver that asked for Ricky's autograph was Dale Earnhardt Junior, son of Dale Earnhardt, the Intimidator, number 3, one of the best drivers ever, died driving. In Zombieland Woody Harrelson's character would put a 3 on all his vehicles, as an homage to him 😆 Oh man that is one of my favorite comedic lines "You don't understand because you don't understand LIBERTY!" Also, "Why do you want to listen to the TV with the stereo on? " "Because I like to party..." That whole conversation "I think your house is haunted." Is so damn funny to me.

Elroy

I wonder when they’ll drop across the spider verse since George wanted to watch it asap

Stupid Idiot

that's a pretty sweet fuck moash mug

Wulfric

You forgot to resynce the background film playing for 40:30 so for the rest of the movie the background is off.

Cinebinge

sorry sorry folks, we had a discord disconnect during filming at around 40 minutes into the movie, in this video i forgot to resync it afterwards so everything form 40 min onward was off sync. apologies, new video will be available in a little bit.

Martin

Both Stepbrothers and Boogie Nights are must-views. I’ve been trumpeting both on this page for some time now. Unfortunately, Boogie Nights always seems to finish poorly on the polls, and Stepbrothers hasn’t been on a poll yet from my recollection.

mitch s

Yes Simone you're right, when race fuel is lit on fire it is invisible to the naked eye, once taking the life of a driver

djKENTO

Woke up early. Did my work out and sat down to watch this… and it’s gone. Oh well.

Travis

Damn removed the video mid watch 😭. I will say this far I think the scenes that seem like the joke runs a little too long are extended by it being the unrated version. Other tid bit is yes physics are hugely important in racing. I’m not a giant race fan but I am aware that when heavy objects are traveling at speeds like that in tight clusters a lot of the speed and moves you can make is determined by your positioning with other vehicles. One of the big things is drafting where you are able to gain more speed by essentially being sucked in by the wind coming off the vehicle in front of you depending on your distance from it. Like I said I’m not a huge race fan but I think if you were to get into a car and drive 200 miles an hour and race others you would have a lot more appreciation for the sport of it and the physical pressures it puts on your body. There’s a reason it is so popular.

GBmain

I'm on the somewhat opposite end of the spectrum... up late, got a midnight snack sat down to watch this... and it's gone... hope it's up before I have to crash though

Mike

WayneC

If all the drivers had crashed without anyone finishing the race results would have been taken back to the last complete lap.

GBmain

There's a lot of references to ''Days of Thunder'' a Tom Cruise NASCAR movie from the 90s Amy Adams is basically Nicole Kidman's character.

offbrandhotdogs

Tons of different reasons to push the cars around as opposed to driving them places. The short answer is that they're not road cars. The long answer is: The engines are not meant to be started and stopped all the time. The cars also aren't always easy to drive at low speeds. Also, race teams need to be very careful about wear and tear and fuel consumption. Last, the cars are loud as fuck.

AstralCars

STEP BROTHERS!!!! 😂

Jonah

It's not surprising that you don't recognize him, but that was Dale Earnheart Jr. one of the most famous nascar drivers. It was a pretty big cameo at the time. His father and him are super big in the nascar scene.

JoshG

Damn George what’s your problem with Applebees 😂

JoshG

The best will Ferrell and John C. Reily movie is definitely step brothers!!

Jonah Bertorelli

Brick is the dumbest, followed by Derick Zoolander, and Ricky Bobby is just ignorant, he has at least a grasp on words for the most part. lol

samuel Jakob

I dont mind what copies u watch, u at least always say the play time in the beginning so if I have a copy that has another time I can look for one that fits urs.

Odd Thomas

An underrated Will Ferrell movie I'd recommend is Land of the Lost. Stranger Than Fiction is great too.

Jay Davis

Agreed on both. Land of the Lost is typical Will Ferrell (his regular funny self, and then toss in Danny McBride). Stranger Than Fiction isn't meant to be funny, but it's got funny moments. It's such a cool story, and very re-watchable.

Martin

I’m going to hold my breath until Stepbrothers makes it onto a poll. Starting right meow.

Jay Davis

There was a Talladega race in 2009 where there was an insane wreck on the final turn on the final lap which absolutely destroyed the car. As the car was on fire, the driver (Carl Edwards) calmly got out of it and then ran to the finish line. One announcer realized it as he crossed the line and even said "shades of Ricky Bobby". I'm still new-ish here. I don't know if adding the youtube link in the comments is allowed, so I'm going to reply to this one with the youtube.

Logan Kerlee

Really enjoyed watching this with you both. It was a good bit of fun. :)

Martin

More Sasha Baron Cohen awesomeness: The Dictator.

FranciscoGios

You know I used to watched a lot of NASCAR, but if it matters the three commentators on Bobby’s first race of the movie are famously race car experts analysts; Darrel Waltrip(the one on the far right) is the only one that has won the NASCAR Cup Series 3x. You just can’t drive the car and do 500 laps(Talladega 500) and hope for the best. To be a good race car driver in NASCAR you need to have a good crew and crew chief, “rich” sponsors that pay your fuel, tires, and the engine. Already someone has mentioned it but there’s no need to have a Reverse Shift, the movie does it so that Bobby just wins the race.

NuggzyBogues1

To answer George's question, America tastes like Jack Daniels, grits and Apple Wood smoked bacon

Alex Ch

Completely understand why we used this one, but I think this is one where the theatrical is better. Some of the random joke alts just end up repetitive.

Jared Winn

I think the most American movie we’ve watched so far is Borat. Shout out SBC lol.

Gary Fixler

The "Yeah! Two Christmases!" thing cracked me up. My parents divorced and remarried, and that's what happened - 4 families, twice the birthday and Christmas parties/gifts. I never understood kids in movies crying about their parents getting divorced. It was great. Everyone should try it.

Gary Fixler

I feel like they didn't recognize Ricky's dad was Lumbergh from Office Space. I'm gonna go ahead and need them to get me their TPS reports by the end of the day.

William Moffett

I love cars, and certain styles of racing (rally mostly) but Nascar bores the hell out of me. But it is VERY physically demanding. There's no power steering in those cars and you're averaging over 190mph, often going well over 200. Most drivers will lose 6-8lbs in water weight during a race.

William Moffett

OMG that applebees commercial poor timing actually happened on CNN like last year during footage of the Russian Ukraine war.

Tay Schumaker

There was a short after credits scene you missed since Simone entered the darkness, but it's not that great so probably not that big of a deal.

Chris Henderson

The mom is the manager from 40 Year Old Virgin.

MatthewBrown74m

No true I always loved the extended version of the exorcist and Alien and aliens

JoeySnowyNoey

The trailer for this movie was so funny I would quote it to my friends as a kid. Lol I think in their minds I actually saw the movie but no it was just the trailer. This is the first time I've actually seen it, years later with no friends. 😂

Odd Thomas

That is a terrible movie though. Everyone involved has said as much in later years

Odd Thomas

All this talk of John C. Reilly but nobody has mentioned Magnolia! An absolute classic 90s movie with Tom Cruise and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Bill Campbell

Greatest non-ironic American movie? Apollo 13 or Forest Gump

King_Panarisi

Damn as a Belgian it's so weird seeing that in the USA they call Delhaize, 'Food lion'. 🤢

REDR58

I used to watch NASCAR for years but then just started to lose interest and have no idea what’s what with all the rule changes over the last number of years. I just prefer to play driving sims now.

It was an interesting conversation at the end they were having about taking normal every day words and making them offensive. We've done that with a lot of words. A lot of "offensive" words have actual non-offensive origins, they were just co-opted by certain people and became offensive terms. Bitch is one, it just means female dog but it's become an offensive word over time. Another one is "r*tarded", that word has an actual definition in the dictionary and is used a lot by people working on car engines - "r*tarded ignition timing" for example. Another one is the f-word for gay people, that word just means a bundle of sticks but it's become a slur and considered hate speech now.

Anonymous

normal words didnt just become offensive, they have a history, and continued use today, of being used to oppress or otherize (justify continued oppression) groups of people. pointing to what a word "just means" ignores the material consequences of its use

Anonymous

i posted this comment for the wrong movie, they were talking about this after the South Park Movie. Anyway, the discussion was that George said what if we took a non-offensive word like "carrot" and turned it offensive, like calling someone a carrot means something bad. My point is that we've done that for pretty much every "offensive" word, like those used in my example. You obviously didn't understand the discussion.

Anonymous

hard to understand a discussion i didnt see since i didnt watch the south park one, dont know why you felt the need to get aggressive. anyway, those words you cited weren't random like carrot, they are all associated with the oppressed group, and thats why they retain so much power despite being, nowadays more or less, disassociated from their origins. for example, youre right, the f slur is a bundle of sticks, but it came to be a tool of oppression because women were generally were the ones who collected bundles of sticks (so connecting gay men to women, which is still done today), and those bundles of sticks additionally became associated with burning at the stake

Scott G

I love how upset Ricky's dad selling his tickets made you guys. LOL

Amelie W

I'm usually irritated by movies where they have inspirational speeches heavy on passion and light on facts or material goals or any substance, but Susan's speech in the restaurant before the big race is the greatest part of the movie.
