Philipp Roensch

Tight, Tight, tight, bring us more of that! :D

Jesse Nkinsi

Hank is a great detective, he found out where Walt and Jesse were in a day.

HUGO TORRES

Please watch Blood in Blood out, the guy who plays tuco plays basically the same character

Danika Silva

I luv Tuesdays 💯💯🇨🇦

HalfMayn

badger didn't mess up he ended up doing exactly what jesse asked, thats why it all went to plan like he said..

Christoph Plank

Why would Tuco kidnap two random people when he's on the run? In addition to the cell phones and equipment, like you said, that's way too suspicious.

dom

i really hoped they'd recognise hector from scarface lol

Big.Bad.Mr.Mustard

I can't wait till Simone & George get to seasons 3&4. Tuco Salamanca will look like a cuddly teddy bear in comparison. :)

Jeff K

And now, next week, you’ve arrived at an episode that’s both one of the very best in the series, and also the one that I might have to skip because it’s just so heavy. But, it also features some of the best work of Aaron Paul’s career.

Mati D.

Badged did his job, he gave an anonymous tip of Jesse and because he's a wanted person now and maybe related with the cartel they got the whole crew in the motel, that's why so many cops and DEA agents there (like episode 1 when they busted the lab).

China Andronicus

Jesse was actually supposed to die in season 1 but Vince Gilligan was so impressed with Aaron Paul's acting that he rewrote the part and kept him on. I'm forever grateful he did; Jesse is my favorite part of this show.

Jeff K

Yep. He’s a top three character in the show for me, in terms of personal favorites. Hank is another. The third hasn’t been introduced yet.

BlindPanda

Never thought I’d rewatch Breaking Bad but I had to since you guys are doing it. 👌🏻great stuff 🐼

ZP

Wendy remembered the line Hank used. "You give a lot of Wendies Wendy?

Jeff I.

Without spoiling, I think you're thinking of an episode two weeks from now.

Diiirk706

Watching this show from three reactors, including this channel, that are all at season 2 around ep 3-6, right now, loool Love this show.

Jeff I.

Friendly reminder to everyone as we go into the new season, but let's not get too spoilery in our comments about future stuff in this show that they haven't seen or aren't really supposed to know about yet. Over at Diegesis, they already had someone do the 'I don't want to won't to spoil this, but anyway here's a big hint for how this season ends.' type of comment.

Vwlss Nvwls

I would just like to point out that if it was not for Marie, then Hank may have never looked for Jesse. I like how George won the internet with METHod acting, then immediately lost it all with a BALD plan.

PastaDon

It's funny watchn' George getting so triggered by Marie.. "This Woman" 🤣🤣..

Jeff K

Did he say "bald" or "ballsy" since Walt's balls were swinging free in the supermarket?

Diiirk706

It's Freaking hilarious, especially when you consider Betsy Brandt is an *absolute* gem, and the *complete* opposite of Marie....lool I also never really minded Marie, minded Skylar wayyy moar until I wisened up, and Marie does get her day by the end. Especially in BCS...

Patrick Brownfield

im already excited to have you watch Better Call Saul after this!

JayF

In case you didn't catch it, Hank used Jessie having LoJack in his car to track it down. It was one of the first techs sold as an advantage to the consumer that cops learned they could exploit to track people down (Ring cameras and such are others).

JayF

Yes please this. I like being able to interact with them here and spoilers are just going to drive them away.

Mike Miner

It's pretty obvious you guys are struggling with this series; just do what you obviously want and finish Ted Lasso and be done with it already.

Jeff I.

I'll admit that the first season and a half can be rough/uneven at times, but it all leads up to a ton of amazing writing in the second half of the show (middle of Season 3 onward).

Gary Fixler

Yeah, I was waiting for that since they posted Scarface. He has such a recognizable face. His role was probably just too small in the film.

Tyler Mckenzie

So Tio is Uncle in spanish. It's Tuco's uncle

Khan1001

Love the reactions but can we please watch at least 4 eps at a time?, 2 a week is not enough guys! I want you to get to the really good stuff!, also, get through it quicker and then you can get back to Ted Lasso, I'm holding off on watching the 2nd season as I want to watch it with you.

p0sthum4n

I'm watching Breaking Bad with you guys and Better Call Saul with another channel...getting a little bit confusing jumping back and forth lol

DCray

Tio = Uncle, His name is Hector Salamanca. He is Tuco Salamanca's Uncle.

Mr TV Eye

I wonder if IRL, Hank would get in trouble for that (and checking Walts phone records). You know, using resources from his job to investigate private stuff, without an order from a judge. AFAIK it's not illegal for an adult to just "disappear", and you even have this right to "not be found". Maybe you could argue because of his illness, there could be mental issues involved, so it would be justified in retrospective. But tracking down another persons car just because of a wild guess that he might now something?

CD

I was going to say…e3 reminds me, you guys aren’t too far away…from being introduced to SG. SG…because I didn’t want to spoil the reveal. But some already have.

Actuarial Lurker

TIO is uncle in spanish- so that is Tuco's uncle

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Sometimes it does leave me chomping at the bit, but I’m enjoying this latest viewing the show (this’ll be my 6th viewing at this point). Most of my other watch throughs have pretty much been binging it. Watching it as a couple per week really helps themes and ideas sit and settle, something I’ve only done once before for the show Mad Men.

Jesse Coombs

I don't know if you guys realize this, but Breaking Bad actually has 11 seasons. The last 6 seasons are about even better. (There's also a movie!)

Michael Kang-Beats

If getting high somewhere and eating a sandwich makes you stupid, call me Fredo Corleone!

Haye Zeus

It’s quaint seeing them go “aaww” for Walt’s situation. These are the innocent seasons.

Travis

Tío is uncle in Spanish that’s why Tuco kept calling him Tío

Jesse Coombs

If y'all didn't catch it. The actor who played Hector Salamanca (the guy in the wheelchair with the bell) was in Scarface, playing one of the enforcers.

Josh

I hope this isn’t a spoiler but when you guys asked who the next villain is gonna be I got chills just thinking of that character. That character is probably my favorite villain in all of tv. I can’t wait to you meet said character and you will by the end of the season. Anyone who’s seen the show knows who I’m talking about. Honestly by the end of this season you’ll meet all the main characters of the show.

Josh

I just can’t wait til they meet a certain character that’s name starts with a G but yes episode 1 of season 3 they’re meet some truly scary characters

Logan Kerlee

Enjoyed the episodes. :) Good stuff.

Martin

IT Chapter 2! Finally!

Tay Schumaker

Man a lot of people are really walking the line on spoilers and trying to be cute about it. Just don’t spoil it for people please. Including the little wink wink nudge nudge posts where you try to not so cleverly reference things.

An Inanimate Fucking Object

Hahaha, when George said "Hank is the danger" ... I think someone else would disagree...

John Richards

They are not "random people" - Jesse was simply collateral damage, but Tuco stated his plan was to have Walter cooking meth in Mexico.

John Richards

A little trivia - Aaron Paul (Jesse) ended up with a concussion filming the scene where Tuco throws him out of the house, when his head hit the doorframe. The scene was as painful as it looked.

Brad Lowry

I agree about spoilers, but we can assume comments about the current episode and all previous episodes are NOT considered spoilers, n'est pas

Brad Lowry

Followup trivia about Aaron Paul: Vince Gilligan (I think it was) in an interview shared that Jesse was to be killed off as part of the climax of season one, but that didn't happen because Aaron Paul and his chemistry (pun intended) with Brian Cranston was so great

Patrick

When I saw George's gf, I was peanut butter and super jelly jelly jelly. *I'm so Ronry....* (In my best South Park impression)

K Murray

Breaking Bad and Buffy are my favorite shows, seen every episode of both an unhealthy number of times. I can't believe I'm just now realizing after Simone pointed it out that the psychologist in BrBa S2E3 was the actor who played Mayor Wilkins on Buffy.

Dk

Tio is uncle. You guys are so incredibly canadian lol.

Dk

Badger did his job. That was literally the plan.

djKENTO

oh my god I just realized that Jesse totally Trolly Car’d Walt… that’s fucking hilarious.

Steve H

What the producers had planned at first was kill-off Pinkman, but later decided he was a good enough actor to keep him as a regular.

Jonah

The actor that played Tuco got really messed up from playing this roll. he put his 110% in every second, and made the character that much better, but he said it took it's toll and really hurt his mental health acting like such a psychopath for such long durations of time exerting so much energy and emotion.

Jonah Bertorelli

badger did come through, he was the one who called the police on Jessie, which is what he wanted. he went and rented the room with Wendy to create an alibi

Steve H

Scarface

you know

Hahahaha, them not catching this was reminding me so much of a specific episode in Arrested Development.

you know

I think you were good until you gave them a timeline. Timelines are spoilers.

Shane Driscoll

If Simone hadn't said anything, I don't think I ever would have noticed that the actor who played the psychiatrist also played the mayor on Buffy. It's a great performance, too. There's a brief moment where you can see that he's absolutely disgusted with Walt, but then he chooses to set those feelings aside so he can do his job.

Josh Hoffman

Hey George! In case you wanted to know it's hard to just execute people in cold blood in real life. hope i cleared up your confusion about killing Tuco in that moment.

Michael Short

yeah the first time I saw this I recognized that actor but it took me ages to remember where i saw him,
