Patreon Poll Bug (Patreon)

Now that the search content bug has been fixed, the next annoying bug is creeping up more often, especially since the redesign from Patreon.

More and more of you have noticed that you either can't vote for more than 1 title in a poll, or just all together cannot vote at all. This is a bug we've reported to Patreon and we STRONGLY RECOMMEND all of you to also submit it as a bug to patreon support, so that they prioritize it. For now, the temporary solutions are:

1. refresh the page of the poll after each vote and it should allow you to cast additional votes.

2. Try a different browser; whether its chrome, firefox, opera or edge to see if it will allow you to vote/vote more than one title.

3. Try a different device between mobile app, tablet app or desktop browser. So far there doesn't seem to be a consistent cause for these poll bugs, but then its not our job do QA for Patreon, just to report it when it happens. If you guys found any other methods that help, please comment below- and if you see anyone in the weekly polls struggling with ability to cast a vote, please help them out!

While Patreon is figuring out how to implement a functioning poll (ahh the holy grail of web development, no one has cracked that one yet), just setup a PO box and we'll all mail in our votes.

Not to start claiming the sky will fall on us, but did see a recent video on the recent history of Patreon... and might be worth spending time now to look for alternatives. TLDR is that the pandemic surge was assumed to be the new norm, and if the number of creators does not rise fast enough then the charges will.

Not sure what everyone else uses, but I haven’t had any issues voting on polls using the mobile app.

What I noticed was I can't vote with the checkbox at all, but I can vote by clicking after the text of the poll options. So if I click in the right half of the row it works for me fine.

Yeah my problem was I was clicking on the checkbox and it wasn't working but if you just click on the wording or just the entire box it works.. weird

No me gusta. Not liking the redesign, old fart status. Whatever, just wish they'd fix the other bugs before launching Dunder Mifflinfinity 2.0.

This entire site is so poorly designed. I mean, just get 1 undergrad from basically anywhere, they will do a better job. This isn't rocket science here =)

Ok so it's not just me, this platform is clunky af! Their operational costs would not be that drastic and they'd be making millions from their cut of all creators. Did they find a dev on fiver to do it, or have some poor soul locked in a cage paid in breadcrumbs and drips of bogwater, while the staff live in luxury?? What is going on lol They are just handing W's to their competitors.

Tonight I got to choose multiple!!! I "long-pressed" the second choice, and it registered! Needs to be verified. I am on a Pixel 8, so there's that.
