I was not expecting Cherie Deville. Given the movie there watching it’s a great idea to have someone from the adult industry who can provide insight into the world the movie shows. And Cherie is a great guest to have, she funny, intelligent and has a lot of experience in the industry.

Yep, I haven’t watched yet but Amber Waves is also like, the original MILF star (in terms of the movie) and Cherie is like, the queen of the MILF section on the ‘hub so it’s perfect. Uh, at least that’s what someone else told me about Cherie… EDIT: I love the fact Cherie said essentially the same thing early on in the movie.

This film really isn't about the P industry. It's really about finding family outside real family. And the opening from that solemn music bursting into Best of My Love is one of the best film openings ever. The film is a masterpiece, imo. The fire cracker scene late in the film is so brilliant I can't believe it exists! And the final scene is Dirk understanding that's he's not the star, his d is. Hence the camera cutting off his head. So good!

Yeah; I haven’t watched yet…and maybe we’ll get lucky. But while I think this is well-intentioned and creative, for CB; this is too good a movie, and only uses the adult film industry as a backdrop…to focus on how realistic or not it’s portrayed. My fear is, Simone will miss a LOT of good stuff…because she’s trying to include and accommodate her guest-host. Nothing against Cherie; she’s a legend! (I suppose Christy Canyon wasn’t available…lol. Or Nina Hartley)

As a movie, I enjoy it. But as someone who studied the Golden Age of Adult Cinema in college... Its historical accuracy is abysmal, and the real people that some of the characters are obviously based on have every right to be upset with it. If they had set it in the late 80s, it would have been far more accurate

The scene with Alfred Molina and Tom Jane with the poppers randomly going off is, in my opinion, one of the best scenes in movie history. It’s so perfectly crafted.

Simone mentioning how David Boreanaz was discovered is similar to how Rosario Dawson was discovered. Someone was literally just walking down a street in NYC and saw her sitting on the stoop outside of her house/apartment/whatever, and was like, "Holy shit, that's one of the most strikingly beautiful people I've ever seen" and put her in the movie "Kids."

Cherie does really come across as a fun, lovely person. I follow one of her best friends, who is also in the industry, Dani Daniels, on Instagram. They often post videos and photos together just doing goofy stuff, and it's really about the most wholesome friendship. I mean, a wholesome friendship between two women who are adult film stars and have done scenes together, but you know what I mean. They both come across as very charming and down-to-Earth.

Love this movie. If someone didn't know it, it's analogous to the life of John Holmes, including the scene where they try to rob Alfred Moline (analogous, not a authentic). John Holmes was involved in the Wonderland Murder, and I would love to see a reaction of the movie from 2003 with Val Kilmer called Wonderland, that is specifically about this incident. Not at all the same vibe though, as it's a true crime story in that movie.
