Prime m.night was something special. Shame he couldn’t keep it up EDIT: maaaan how u edit out Samuel final monologue smh. “They called me Mr. Glass” Looooove that ending

Pam Nail

LOL I only just yesterday heard of the pine cone on a stick thing.

Byron

Watch Split.

Ben Hairston

I look at Unbreakable as like a first act of the superhero story. Instead of the hero figuring out who he is, learning to use his powers for good and then conquering the arch enemy, he's really just coming to terms with that first identity crisis, and needing to be shown who he really is.

Rachel W

"Split" is absolutely must see. You can skip the third.

Boyan Konov

Unbreakable is also one of the most accurate representation of depression in men in cinema. It makes sense that a guy who cant feel pain and cant get sick also will be depressed without that balance in his life and so his marriage and his relationship with his kid will suffer.

Alan Pownall

Split is well worth watching and works as a stand alone. Glass is interesting in concept but falls short in execution and was mismarketed.

brian burke

unbreakable is my favorite of the trilogy but i hear there may be a part 4. also i did like that in glass they got the same actor who was bruce willis's kid in unbreakable as an adult. that was cool they didnt replace him with another actor.

Jerrett thompson

Split is good, though going in it good to know how terrible it show mental illness. Glass is meh, though watching it might be good just to finish the trilogy. That scene with the gun is based off a famous incident where a kid brought a gun to meet George Reeves so he could test out Superman invincibility. George did a fantastic job talking to the kid so thankfully no one was hurt.

Crystal

agreed with the above, Split is a MUST see, Glass is a mixed bag, it does wrap it up, but it was not at all what we thought/ hoped it would be, and not really in a good way

brian burke

i like that the director makes a cameo in this as he does i think in all his movies,

brian burke

cinebinge should definetly do all 3 of the films, i actually liked glass more than split, but unbreakable was the best

Matt Fong

This movie is “what if Superman didnt know he was Superman

Jeff K

I have not seen Split so someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the real “twist” that it was a stealth Unbreakable sequel? It wasn’t marketed that way, if I recall, and in fact I seem to remember it being marketed as its own separate, stand alone film, so when people got to theaters and realized, that’s what created the extra buzz about it.

Logan Kerlee

It was a stealth sequel, for sure. It wasn't marketed as a sequel to Unbreakable initially but later it became known and as the hype grew, so did the recognition of that.

Logan Kerlee

Found my name at 30:49. SeemsGood

brian burke

i already knew split was a sequel before i saw it on dvd. people talked about it. but i imagine it would have been pretty cool to be fooled at first.

JoeE

Five 0 means police comes from old tv show Hawaii 5 o (Hawaii is 50th state)

JoeE

one scene here probably inspired by an incident that occurred 2 George reeves (Superman portayer).

JoeE

Would recommend 12 monkeys

Mark McConnell

Split is fantastic. Glass is very, very meh. Reminds me of the old tv guide definition of a two star movie: Flawed, has moments. That’s Glass: Flawed, has moments.

Wrencher86

Agree with others saying Split is necessary viewing. It is, of course, mostly bullshit in its depiction of dissociative identity disorder. But it's still a very taut thriller and seemed like it signaled a return to form for Shyamalan. Unfortunately Glass put those hopes to rest.

Byron

Me in the middle of the movie with my wee baby psych degree: “this is BS” Me at the end: “this is badass”

Andrew Roach

Sadly but unavoidably they know the twist of Split, namely it was not known to be a sequel to this movie until the last shot revealed that it was and that was the mind blowing twist.

Adam Custer

yes watch the other two.

Dk

Well they just spoiled Split for themselves lol

Dk

The ending of Split may be my favorite of all the Shyamalan twists. Because I don't think I've ever heard of the twist being that the movie you just finished is a sequel. It was truly unique. I was like whoa! and my date was like "what??" And thats when I knew it wouldn't work out between us.
