Comments

MotoDork

It would be great if we could add Heavy Metal to this poll.

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

'The Lego Movie' is S tier. Completely blew my expectations out of the water when I first seen it.

Ral Zarek

Your Name is my fav movie of all time and such a beautiful watch! Hopefully they get to watch it at some point❤️

Jessi

No hate whatsoever to any other movie on this poll, but Your Name is a work of art and I'll never not vote for it! 😉

Jeff I.

Since we're coming up on the Christmas holidays, I'd like to suggest the animated movie Klaus for the future. It's really good!

DemNikoArt

Lego or Cloudy!!! Either way, you can't go wrong with Lord & Miller ;)

Leon Agnew

More Breaking Bad instead?

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

As someone who works in a Lego store for a living I’d feel like I’ll get hunted down for recommending any other film than The Lego Movie lol. Still an excellent film regardless

Bonny T

Your Name 🎇

Bonny T

Your Name 🎇

Foodassassin4life

Please watch The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Sooper Troopers, Fresh (1994), Bad Times at the El Royale, From Dusk till Dawn, Get the Gringo

Joshua Couch

The Lego Movie is advertising for a toy done right

Random Nevermind

I am so excited. Thank you for the poll. Hope Brave will be the second (Lego will be the first for sure) And have you ever watched Up!? If not - that's a thing. Also The Garden of Words is super beautiful if you guys are into Makoto Shinkai

Foodassassin4life

Also Please watch Home Alone 2 and Die Hard 2 this December if you guys can fit it in the schedule

Den Radar Ryan

Everything will be awesome if you choose "The Lego Movie". Trust me. 😜🤘

SelasDray

Your Name is an incredible movie. It's a shame it doesn't really have a good chance of winning.

Olli

Recommendation for Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011). Modern rom-com with Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling bringing the scales down on the comedy side of the genre.

Jasper Collins

Your Name is such a fun movie and beautiful. I hope we get so see you watch it for the first time.

Martin

While we’re on the subject of animated, after Breaking Bad/Ted Lasso, you should check out the Netflix series, Blue Eye Samurai. It’s incredible.

Aussiefeld

I am very surprised Inside Out isn't trending higher, it is far and away iconic it needs to be seen by everyone!

BlindPanda

Any chance of watching the live “One Piece” Netflix series ?

Jeff K.

Knew this one was over before I even voted.

James Lawson

I’d love to see Brave too but lego movie would be awesome! Brave just feels underrated and it’s one of my favourites 😄

jmundt33a

Yikes. Other than Your Name (which I don’t know) the best choices are new to George only. Oh well. Next time.

Logan Nelson

Thought we might see some adult batman animated movies this time... Here's to hoping for the next one...

Martin Roca

Your name is a must!!! If someday you do this movie, just be careful because anime is super complex on youtube, you can get an strike for nothing, not sure how much you know about anime but it's kinda weird.

The Gunslinger

You should check out Atlantis the Lost Empire.

Duron Ball

Well you're gonna have to watch ALL of these... Because they are all Awesome 😊😊

GnolRevilo

As someone mentioned earlier, the animated film Klaus (2019) would be a great watch for the Christmas season soon upon us.

Karen A

Wooo Lego Movie!!!! This movie is so much fun! My husband and I have watched it several times. AND I sing the one song all the time!

GnolRevilo

Hope 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘰 gets a watch some day!

Neumann

Dude cloudy with a chance of meatballs is so underappreciated

Logan Kerlee

Being honest, I'm not a fan of ANY of these movies.

streaky

At first I was.. they're all kinda bad for adults. But actually the Lego movie was pretty good with an annoyingly catchy song (I literally didn't see it in the list) - I have recollections of the sequel being awful but.. If you want a recommendation of an actually good animated movie, Up (2009) is the one, dunno if you've seen it.

Anne Hummel

I join the chorus for Klaus for the holidays :) And Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is a hidden gem. Including the sequel! :)

nossieboy

Inside Out and Cloudy With Meatballs were real big surprises when first seeing them and are personally the strongest choices on the list. Was not a big fan of Lego movie but it sure seems super popular here.

HeyHeyJK

I'm really surprised "Your Name" isn't doing better. Highest-grossing anime film of all time in Japan, I think, at least at one point, beating out all of Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's work. So, I'll vote for that one and also "The Lego Movie" which was a total surprise and so much fun. CWACOM is also great.

Patrick

This poll is going to be a landslide lol

TD

Recommending Super Troopers again. Would love to see it on an upcoming poll!

Jordy's_Here!

Great choices here…..but Your Name should still be reacted at some point VERY soon! You there as one of my favorite movies (live action or animated!), along with A Silent Voice! You two would LOVE both of those!

Huckleberry lobo

You've seen Antonio Banderas & Salma Hayek collab in Puss in Boots now( Last Wish was awesome btw, I hadn't watched it till you guys did) how about watch where it all started in, Desperado.

dudewheresmycar

Lego Movie is gonna surprise the heck out of you. The director/writers are the same creative team behind the Spider-Verse movies.

Jeff K.

Looking at the results so far, I'm reminded of Rocky IV: "Throw the damn towel!"

sarCC

Yes! YOUR NAME is soooo incredible, I'm so exited for you two to watch it. And....while YOURE NAME is definitely one of those movies I'm jealous of anyone getting to watch it for the first time, a movie that always feels new, exciting, and mind-blowing every time I rewatch it is RRR! I really, really recommend you two watch RRR; there is absolutely no way this movie can be overhyped. It's outrageously amazing. OPPENHEIMER felt like an eight-hour movie to me, but RRR feels like half-an-hour long. It's so briskly-paced and tightly scripted. It's just a pure joy to watch, eveRRRy time!

Opti_Frog

Your Name has to be watched even if it won't win this poll. Not only is it the best movie on this particular list, by far, it's one of the best films ever made. If you're reading this comment and haven't seen Your Name, do yourself a favour and watch it asap.

Brendan Rafferty

I’m voting for Deep Impact I know it’s not on this list, but c’mon already guys. 😟

Jesse Coombs

Only because it's my favorite animated movie, I'm recommending "The Secret of Nimh". It's a wonderful 80's adventure that's kind of dark with a cool aesthetic.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Wreck it Ralph is my fav on the list but I prefer when neither has seen a movie so I went w the masses on this one ..I enjoy all the Lego Movies and it will be a fun reaction

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

To pump up something not so mainstream in this category that also happens to be a great film..I'd like to request Persepolis

JarHead0351

Rise of the Guardians is another good one

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some small films that I'd like to request that are excellent and very deserving of a reaction - Landscape with Invisible Hands - Aftersun - Theater Camp

Chase Lonnergan

As soon as I saw The Lego Movie, that song got stuck in my head...

Travis H

Wow this may be the most one sided poll I have ever seen here…granted I don’t have a great memory, but still! As for animation recs, I am assuming you both have seen the Toy Story series ….right???? Others recs are: Turning Red Fantastic Mr. Fox Space Jam (may not hold up, but will probably get views) (But I would like an answer about Toy Story so I know if I need to judge you two 😉)

Todd R

Akira

Andrew Hussey

It's a shame because your name isn't quite the powerhouse financially that Lego movie and such is but damn guys, you seriously need to check it out, easily among the most moving, emotional film experiences I've ever had, weathering with you and Suzume are damn fine follow-ups too, if not right now, please, check out your name, you will love it

Gary Trousdale

I know a lot of the Disney ones are problematic because of the music (yet I see Disney titles with music in this list) but ones like Lilo and Stitch and Atlantis the Lost Empire are non musical (except for the score). And ffs, *NO* Studio Ghibli/ Hayao Miyazaki films?? Totoro, Mononoke, Spirited Away, Laputa, Nausica, Kiki, Ponyo…soooo many great choices there.

Lamar Savage

With Inside Out and Brave in the poll LEGO is winning??? You gotta be kidding me.....

Jeb Manning

I'd love to see you guys react to The SpongeBob SquarePants movie. I don't know if George is familiar with SpongeBob but the movie is goofy, insane and hilarious.

Jeb Manning

I'd also love to see you guys react to The Simpsons Movie if you want to do another animated movie. I know George loves the Simpsons and I think it would be great to Simone's reaction to it.

David S

I remember one of your vids you guys saying you hadn't seen Monsters Inc. (I think anyway). So how about some of the older Pixar classics, which I think are better than anything in the poll (in all fairness I haven't seen "Your Name" though). I'm not sure which of the following you have seen already, but... -wall-e -monsters inc -up -finding nemo All really great movies...

Raymond DeGraw

Love your reactions and look forward to seeing many more like these on my wish list... 1. Braveheart 2. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 3. Secondhand Lions 4. The Game 5. Event Horizon

Skyruff Creative

I voted but I didn't see "Heavy Metal" my true vote.

Jacob King

Some pretentious arthouse suggestions: A Scanner Darkly (2006) Son of The White Mare (1981) Fantastic Planet (1973) Paprika (2006) Lego Movie is great and deserves to win.

Readster

I think you guys would really love Your Name, though I doubt it'll ever win in a poll so consider picking it for yourselves sometime

Hussain Rumaih

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a true classic i reaally do hope you guys get to do it! loving more animation movies anyhow tho!!

Den Radar Ryan

I recommend watching 'Grumpy Old Men' (1993) and it's sequel 'Grumpier Old Men' (1995). Two of the funniest comedies ever made starring the late, great Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau and of course Burgess Meredith (Micky from Rocky). Saw them in the theatre as a teenager in the 90s and I still watch them on DVD every year. Still hilarious 🤣. I'm sure you ou guys will love them both. 😉🤘📺📼

JoeySnowyNoey

I really want to see y'all react to Your Name! It's so fucking good, and makes me cry every time I watched it. But honestly a lot of these would be great! Never seen Brave and I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't care for Wreck it Ralph, but the rest of these are so good! I would love a sing-a-long to Frozen personally. Lol

Tay Goodson

Christmas/Holiday Poll Suggestion The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) The Santa Clause (1994) Grumpy Old Men (1993) Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) Jingle All the Way (1996)

Mycenaeus

"When the Wind Blows" is also highly recommended, for both its theme as well as the way it was made. And of course all of the Wallace & Gromit movies.

Gary Trousdale

Wreck it Ralph was one of the new crop of Disney movies I had little interest in checking out. I’m in the industry and get tired of animation sometimes. My son was in college at the time, called and told me to check it out. He and his friends (all gamers) had seen it twice. For broke college students to pay for a movie *twice*, I figured I had to see it. I was not disappointed. Clever, fun, engaging, and Sarah Silverman was awesome as Vanellope. And John C. Reilly! Holy cow!

Joey Johansen

I forgot about Cloudy! Such a great one :)

Alex Ch

Hey just thought of a couple really good reaction movies where the main characters are smart about the work they’re doing - Crimson Tide (conflict on a sub) and Enemy of the State. Both smart movie-star thrillers that are a lot of fun and good reactions.

Johnny B. Goode

I highly recommend these movies: Super Troopers (2001) Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) Dead Presidents (1995)

Nat B

The Lego Movie!!!

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Actually for Animation...surprised we have never gotten Sausage Party on a poll...

steve

You should add Bowfinger to a poll.

Random Nevermind

I am curious why "Up!" is not here? S&G watched it already?

Hawke

Nimona needs to be watched at some point. It's very good. Not as good as Your Name, but it's up there.

overdev

hell yeah The Lego Movie, made by the same guys that did Spiderman Into The Spiderverse

Martin

This has to be some kind of record, yeah?

Monica Alarcon

Come on Frozen!!! you can do it! Still 16 hours left to vote!

FranciscoGios

Wreck it Ralph is so good. Wow this the first time to see 1,000+ votes on an animated movie; Simone & George strap on your seats this is going to be a great show. I’m Batman!!

Rachel W

Frozen is so overrated. Besides THE song, the rest of the songs are subpar, the story and dialogue mediocre.

simon brouillard

Disappointed not to see my favorite animated movie There will be blood 😏

Twiska Brand

If you do react to Your Name at some point, please watch it with subtitles. I'm not a dub hater, but a critical scene requires subtitles that the dub didn't translate. So, for this particular anime, I always recommend Japanese Audio.

NobleProfession

I watched what I'd estimate to about 200 animated films whilst trying to watch all animated films and the top 3 best ones I watched for me were 1: The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, 2: Wolfwalkers, and 3: My Life as a Zucchini. Edit: Actually 657 animated films. I was way off!

VariantsWatchMovies

It doesn’t look like you’ve done many Clint Eastwood films. Can recommend: Million Dollar Baby Mystic River Unforgiven Gran Torino

Rachel W

Tangled should have been on this list. It's so underrated. It's hilarious and the soundtrack, overall is much better than Frozen. Brave is really good, too.

Brandon Meng

Can we get a romcom poll please? Love Actually (for Christmas!) Forgetting Sarah Marshall About Time Midnight in Paris Stranger than Fiction 500 Days of Summer Punch Drunk Love Silver Linings Playbook
