The last weekly polls winner was Tremors, which will be available this Saturday. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Want to add St. Vincent for more Bill Murray in the mix

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

As an Aussie I feel like my mates will just somehow know if I don’t recommend Crocodile Dundee that I’ll have to shout drinks for a week lol. Event Horizon is bonkers and George needs to see it at some point too!

Joe Williams

I enjoy Event Horizon, but I'm looking forward to seeing George react to how bonkers and nonsensical it is.

The Fool

I'm actually surprised George is the one who hasn't seen Event Horizon.

Matthew Brown

I do you guys watch dantes peak my dad did the camera work on that film 🎥🎞🎦🎬

dudewheresmycar

Deep Impact gets overlooked as an asteroid movie because Armageddon came out the same year. But Deep Impact is by far the better of the two movies.

Blkm44

Glory is a film everyone should see. I voted for it, and one of my childhood favorites, Clue.

FrancescoTakesItEasy

Pretty sure Event Horizon is gonna run away with it, but my vote goes to Dante's Peak. Please feed me 90s disaster movies straight into my vein!

Matthew Johnson

Event Horizon would break George’s will. It’s too nonsensical, he’ll be climbing the walls! (But probably a hilarious reaction)

Matt Carroll

All of these are great choices

Matthew Johnson

Putting in my official vote though for Patriot Games. I want to watch Simone’s crush on 90’s Harrison Ford to continue.

Shreddy

Crocodile Dundee is quite cheesy, considering how critical you two are and often mocking things that are a bit goofy and dated, I don't think you'll genuinely enjoy it. The poll could have better material "Dante's Peak" and "Deep Impact" are similarly mediocre catastrophe films, it was a trendy genre at some point, most of it was utterly forgettable Honestly there's not much on this list that I'd consider worth a watch. "Patriot Games" is pretty decent thriller, I prefer the one after that "Clear And Present Danger" though. "Glory" is probably the only one here I would consider a high quality film. It won 3 Oscars. Ironically it had the least votes, when I voted. Is it considered "woke" now? But seriously though, considering how smart/witty/critical people you two appear to be, you find an awful lot of mediocre films to watch. You seem like people who secretly hate like 50% of dumb films you watch, but you do it because they are most requested There's tons of films like "L.A. Confidential" or "City of God" or "The Departed" or "Whiplash". Especially if you include foreign film. Yet half of your channel is utterly forgettable films, that nobody smart would want to (re)watch

Martin

Wanted Event Horizon, but didn’t vote for it because Simone already saw it. Gotta go with Glory here. One of Denzel’s best, and appropriate for Black History Month.

Chase Lonnergan

Three of my favorite movies, one I have repeatedly pushed for, and all three are leading the pack? Sweet!

Random Nevermind

Two random recommendations: - High blond in a black shoe - Fracture

Deano

Simone has watched event horizon? 👀

John Rybock

Not sure where to recommend movies... general chat like this? Because I think "A Man Called Otto" from last year went under the radar, and tells a beautiful story with a grumpy Tom Hanks.

simpLeXity

Alita: Battle Angel for next poll? 😁

Happy Hanukkah

Wouldn't Dante's peak actually be the nadir? [That was comedy. Divine comedy.]

Jason Pratt

For another Denzel reaction, I recommend Fallen. John Goodman and James Gandolfini round out that cast.

Byron

I have a lot of fond memories of Crocodile Dundee. But it’s a product of its time and does not hold up very well. Quigley Down Under, on the other hand, I’m all about

Jeromy M

Event Horizon whilst on acid please .

beefjerkywizard

Is this the end of Patriot Games? It never polls well even though it is peak Harrison Ford.

beefjerkywizard

The nice thing about my choices never "winning" is that it forces me to watch something I've overlooked. So props to the Cinebinge empire for forcing me out of my movie shell.

Happy Hanukkah

Shouldn't Tremors naturally be followed by Dante's Peak? :-)

Dechevalier

Three recommendations for the future: 1. Grosse Pointe Blank (John Cusack, Minnie Driver, and Dan Aykroyd) 2. Falling Down (Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall) 3. Boondock Saints (Norman Reedus and William DeFoe)

Jason McCloud

I would love to see you react to Only the Brave

Jeff Klonowski

I've seen Glory making it around other channels. It's definitely reaction worthy

Jeff K.

Hoping for Clue to win, because I want to see George and Simone slowly start to realize just how fucking bonkers that movie is. It's a great movie (and I highly, highly recommend tracking down the Buzzfeed article about the making of the movie -- and yes, I said Buzzfeed -- because it's a really interesting and fun read).

The Gunslinger

Glory is incredible. Denzel Washington earned his first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Btw, could you cover Rango?

paul rai

This may be recency bias but I would love for you guys to cover Society of the Snow (2023). Such a powerful and emotionally compelling film about human perseverance through the most horrific circumstances. And I know some reaction channels have been covering and they’ve gotten some big views so I think would be a great addition to your reactions. Again, easy because of watching it so recently but man, it’s stayed in my mind for a while. One of my favorite films of 2023, alongside Oppenheimer and Poor Things

Maarten Martens

I haven't seen Crocodile Dundee since I was a little kid, but I know I enjoyed the heck out of it. I'm curious to see if it still holds up today. Either way you can't go wrong with it I think.

Michael

Clue is my favorite comedy ever, I hope it wins and that they love it=)

Happy Hanukkah

Event Horizon? Yay! I love Frederik Pohl!

Ronnie

Clue should easily win this one

SnabbKassa

There's no way you can put the full Event Horizon on youtube. The ending is too disturbing.

Phalanx

Given that it's Black History month in the US and Canada, Glory would be a really good choice.

Tim T—

Today at work the theme tune of Brazil (1985) was stuck in my head. Just saying. In a way it’s rather great that the movies of the 80s and 90s in this particular poll have no partical theme. That means they are diverse, even if a little mid. I find those decades somewhat more exciting in the different kinds of movies they produced, compared to today. Today there seems to be more a bifurcation into blockbuster CGI in Tights and art movie. There seems to be a missing middle in cinemas. I voted for the catastrophe movies – got a soft spot for people running and screaming.

Felreign

if you do a poll for more animated movies, I recommend Road to El Dorado

Da Big Appa

I think Clue and Crocodile Dundee are fun but when thinking of George and Simone reactions and not my own I don't understand how Glory is not higher up in the list. It also has two fun movies with LotR alum and they also get low votes.

Sir Dongle

Oh HELL yeah, CLUE!!

Chase Schleich

Wait... Simone had seen Event Horizon?! Hope she wasn't a child at the time lol.

FranciscoGios

If Clue wins, make sure you guys bring your detective brain.

Jay Davis

Feel compelled to vote Deep Impact here just to serve as the bookend to Armageddon. So that's what I'ma doin.

fmcmullan

A few good choices. For me #1 (by far) is Glory...a must watch. #2 Deep Impact. #3 Crocodile Dundee. And as I always do in every poll, I will suggest Barry Lyndon.

JayF

Holy shit balls! So many great movies on this one that I'm going to hate seeing most of them lose and get shuffled towards the bottom of the pile. Let's try to make it close enough that G&S give us two reactions from this one.

Astraeos

Wait, wait, when in the hell did Simone see Event Horizon lol? That absolutely does NOT seem like a movie she'd watch

JoeE

Some suggestions: sing street, state of grace, out of sight, bad news bears, some like it hot, millers crossing

FWPJR.

I would love for you two to react to “The Wedding Singer” with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, it’s a great movie.

Adam K

Vote Glory! Such a brilliant movie.

Brianna Williams

I've been waiting for you guys to do Clue forever! It's a fun time. So quotable.

M.C.G

Thank you so much for the great reactions, you two, I genuinely look forward to the notifications! Here are some suggestions I'm pretty sure have already been made, but I wanted to be sure: Gattaca 10 Cloverfield Lane Brick Logan Lucky Ronin (1998) And here are some that I don't think have been suggested, but would also make for great reactions for various reasons: Smoke Signals (1998) Bad Times at the El Royale SLC Punk Fried Green Tomatoes Premium Rush Adaptation Thanks!

JayF

While "The Hunt for Red October" wasn't really your thing, G&S, I think you'll enjoy "Patriot Games" and "A Clear and Present Danger". No more Sean Connery but there is a consistent cast otherwise.

Late Kate

I watch clue at least once a month, really glad to see it's doing so good

PIG

But here's what really happened...

Brianna Williams

Before you guys watch Clue, look up the rules of the board game (if you've never played it before) - the plot and some Easter eggs in the film will be more fun to find.

overdev

if you wanna watch a okayish horror movie with great practical effects I would recommend "Virus" from 1999 :)

Happy Hanukkah

"Event Horizon (1997) - New to George only" I congratulate you on your phrasing. Saying that Simone has seen Event Horizon would be scientifically dubious.

Maikeru Dagurasu

Some decent horror-mystery: Ready or Not (2019) and Talk to Me (2022)

sarCC

Clue, baybee!!!! Also in the vein of irreverent comedy, I'm recommending Gremlins 2: The New Batch. No need to put it on a horror poll, because it's completely a Looney Tunes comedy, and definitely no need to worry about waiting until Halloween (or Xmas, lol) to watch it!

James Lawson

AHHH! Crocodile Dundee would be a great one! Classic film there :D

John

This is a great poll, though I cannot recommend Glory enough, it is tremendous film with great performances including by the recently departed Andre Braugher from Homicide and Brooklyn 99

Michael Buhl

I've said this before, but I'll say it again -- George needs to watch Network and Simone needs to watch Best in Show.

Eugene Reilly

Glory is easily the best movie on the list. It’s not a feel-good, and it’s not brain candy, and it’ll have a hard time winning a poll like this, but 100% should be on your list for future consideration if it doesn’t make it this time.

RedCrusade

Wow, Simone has seen Event Horizon? Someone who's obviously no longer her friend/SO must have recommended it to her.

Bryan

Put Million Dollar Baby on the next poll!

mraran

Crocodile Dundee, I just watched last week. It has such a relaxing tone, you are drawn in by it. And all of my favorite bits are in the sequel, so that just tells you how great and fun this series is.

Wrencher86

Event Horizon on a poll again? That seems promising. I absolutely need to hear the story of how and why Simone has seen it before. Also, it's just a good movie.

ShōNuff3K

I voted Glory & Event Horizon.

Rudy Hernandez

Clue & Glory are absolute ‘must-sees’!

Drew Acheson

Omg I had just assumed you guys had already seen Clue. How has this not come up sooner and why isn’t it winning?! I think I suggested this previously but About Time is a really good rom com.

Alex Ch

My biggest memory of Clue being in theaters is trying to find the screens showing the different endings.

Miles E Coburn

If "Clue" (1985) wins, make sure you watch the version with all THREE endings.

BangDroid

As an Aussie I am compelled to compel you to watch Crocodile Dundee!

Brendan Rafferty

Thank you for putting Deep Impact in the poll Unfortunately, I will sadly watch this great film lose again. 😢

Be Human

Been waiting for Dundee!

Mikael Linderoth

partial to dante's peak but there are a few nice ones here, also out of curiosity is there a certain place where one can suggest movies? id like to recommend Mr Right :D

FoH Film Club

How did these become recommended lol, just playin

Be Human

Some recommendations for future polls: 1. Lucky Number Slevin 2. Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels 3. The Royal Tenenbaums 4. Natural Born Killers 5. Lost Highway

Saifu

Please finish the Glass trilogy... 😢

Hamesque

Outside of Event Horizon the theme of this could be Dad Movies. Or Movies You Started Watching Half Way Through on TBS.

Travis H

All in on Clue! Some random recs: Knives out Swiss Army Man Palm Springs

Johen Kay

10 Cloverfield Lane, Brightburn, Sinister (horror movie for Simone), Gattaca... I would have voted Event Horizon, but Simone already watched it...

Brandon Meng

Crocodile Dundee and Clue, my top two choices here and two deserving winners. Please consider Perks of Being a Wallflower for a future poll! It's a coming of age high school drama based on an award winning piece of literature with great acting and music! Maybe I'm pandering but I also feel like it would help you reach different audiences on YT. It has several 100K+ view count reaction videos. Would love to see what you both think of it!

Trevor Rotan

Clue will always win this one. Glory should be remembered come Memorial Day.

Wrencher86

Hey, I've noticed that my votes don't seem to be "sticking". Every time I refresh the page it doesn't show what I had chosen and I am able to vote again. Just a heads up.

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤I hope Glory does well enough to get watched eventually. Such a great movie. There's definitely some good ones in the lead tho so the saturday after this next one will still be a good time.

Stephanie Bedworth

For future polls, I think you two would really enjoy Little Miss Sunshine.

FromDarknessComesLight

HOLY CRAP PATREON FIXED THE MULTIPLE VOTES THING ON MOBILE!!! Plz someone else confirm. :D

Echo

I have been reading horror novels since I was 8 or so- Stephen King by 5th grade. There was a used book store where I used to live- huge 2 story, it was glorious. You could buy blind bags, genre only, full of 6-8 books. My favorite categories were historical romance and horror. I had *just* started getting into sci-fi and fantasy the year before Event Horizon came out (late teens). I saw it in theaters and it scared the poop out of me, lol. Definitely Clue. Everyone should watch Clue a few times! Crocodile Dundee is just fun.

rick movienerd

You need to watch day after tomorrow

Tyler L

Some movies I'd love to see make the cut: Almost Famous Annihilation Prisoners Doctor Sleep The Witch The Lighthouse

Rob Church

Clue is absolutely hilarious, one of my favorite comedies, so glad it's winning.

OrangeMg

It's very possible that Dante's Peak won't win, but please keep it in mind :’)

Jay

St. Patrick's Day next month so I'm getting in an early recommendation for The Commitments.

Travis

The theme of this poll should be “Mid”

China Andronicus

If you watch Clue, make sure it’s with all three endings rather than the chosen at random option. It’s the best way. Amazing film with a fabulous cast.

Jacob King

Clue is a great little movie. Dante’s Peak is fun. I love Deep Impact. Crocodile Dundee is cynical cringey garbage. So many better Australian movies and comedies even (or especially) from the eighties.

Lachlan Caldwell

My movie recommendations: Flight of the Navigator (1986) Sneakers (1992) - staring Robert Redford. The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) - staring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.

Simon Pegged Me

For a No Particular Theme recommendation, I'd suggest Terry Gilliam's The Fisher King (1991).

Chase Schleich

You guys still need to watch Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds. I think you would both love that movie.

Dan Holmes

Dude Dante's Peak should be at least in second place :(

Felreign

if you do a poll for more animated movies, I recommend Road to El Dorado

Wrencher86

Because of Event Horizon being on this poll, I decided to try to come up with a list of horror movie recommendations. Which is a struggle because I don't like horror movies (generally). But here is my attempt: Ravenous- of course Pitch Black - early Vin Diesel, solid script, cool lighting Bram Stokers Dracula - was on a poll already, great movie 1408 - John Cusack in an evil hotel room, Stephen King story* The Lost Boys - campy, 80's vampire movie, lots of fun Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - anime, more action than horror, cool AF Mimic - Guillermo Del Toro's first(?) Hollywood movie, don't want to spoil anything Honorable mention: Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the WereRabbit - you will both enjoy it but I think Simone will especially, you'll have to replace the "OMG" counter with a "Little bun-bun!!" counter * 1408 has to be the theatrical version. The "directors"/alternate cuts add unnecessary scenes and change the ending for the worse. I say "directors" because I think they just used that as a ploy to sell DVDs using footage they'd already shot.

NareikAC

No offence but this is the worst list of movies i have ever seen

Maikeru Dagurasu

Let the OMG and WTF counter explode by watching M. Night Shyamalan´s OLD.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Maybe a bit of a grenade as it could get touchy for some (and maybe yourselves depending on personal feelings to the subject) but since Lent began last week it’s been on my mind so I’ll suggest “The Last Temptation of Christ”.

Raymond DeGraw

Great collection of movies on this poll... Always love reactions and look forward to hopefully seeing these soon. 1. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 2. Alita Battle Angel 3. Falling Down 4. The Game 5. Secondhand Lions

jmundt33a

Count of Monte Cristo is excellent. On the subject of this list, Dante’s Peak and Deep Impact are “lesser” or less successful examples of the disaster genre of the late ‘90s that while not great maybe deserve to outshine a couple of their blockbuster brethren. I’m glad Clue is winning because it’s a treat, but I’m saddened Patriot Games is in last because it’s well done and probably the consensus second-best Clancy property.

Senec

Honestly, this list is perfect. Lots of complaints about everything on it being mid tier. But it has to be that way for balance. These are probably ones that got close on a previous poll, didn't make the cut, yet keep being suggested. If this were a race, it would be a bunch of Civics, which would be an entertaining race to watch. But if you threw in one McLaren it's a bunch of Civics chasing a McLaren and everyone bitching about how unfair that is.

G Lam

if Clue wins I'll be disappointed, but at least it'll kind of force me to give it another go. I've left on 3 occasions when a housemate was watching that. Never heard of Glory (googled, and it's a war film... that's why), but I'd be happy with any of the other 5. I'd be particularly interested in George's reaction to Event Horizon though

James Falato

A Banquet of Films... It's the First Time I've Suggested You React to a Majority of Films... Great Selection...

Steven Cavanagh

Event Horizon is an unofficial Warhammer 40k movie, I will die on this hill. LOL

Terdell Ferguson

Though there are some good ones listed here, Glory is clearly the best of this lot, but I know how it works. If it doesn't win, please consider giving it a view. Easily one of the greatest films (and important) I've ever seen - it sits at #5 on my Top 100 - and has the cast, awards and nominations to back that up.

DCMPhotog

How do one recommend a film?

DCMPhotog

Some films to consider: 1. American Movie (1999) a documentary about a guy in Wisconsin trying to finish a low budget feature film. If you went to film school, you know this guy. 2. Nebraska (2013) a film about a family dealing with an aging father/husband who believes he has won the publisher clearinghouse sweepstakes and insists on going to Nebraska to collect his prize. 3. Paper Moon (1974) a film set in depression era midwest. A con man agrees to transport a young girl to her only living relative in Missouri. Tatum O'Neil won an oscar at the age of ten for this film (youngest person so far). 4. Pushing Daisies (2007-09) a well written fantasy/comedy tv series about a crimefighting team with stunning visuals.

lovemoose

I'd like to recommend you guys to watch happy feet (2006)

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

St. Paddy's day is coming up! Time for some Irish films: 'The Wind That Shakes The Barley', 'The Commitments' and 'The Banshees of Inisherin' would be great to see on the channel.

FischerMax98

I can't believe Clue is winning. A fave I've seen many times. Look forward to the reaction.

Dakota

With Clue leading I will recommend two similar movies: Murder By Death, and Knives Out. Both are good, fun movies.

JFC

Clue should be right in my wheelhouse because I was a 70s/80s kid, but I never thought it was particularly funny or loved it. To each their own, I guess.

Cubonemaker

Glory needs more attention

dennis bay

The new Marvels movie is out on Disney Plus.. not a lot of reactions yet.. I think you will like it.. older movies.. Overboard, Captain Ron, Joe Verse the Volcano

Smooticus

Here's some good movies I think everyone will like that I really believe subscribers would enjoy The Sand Pebbles (1966, Steve McQueen, Candace Bergen, Richard Crenna ) A navy engineer is assigned to a river gunboat in war torn 1920's China Paris, Texas (1984, Harry Dean Stanton, Nastassja Kinski, Dean Stockwell) A man who walked out of his life resurfaces 4 years later and must reconnect with his life and fix what was broken Miller's Crossing (1990, Gabriel Byrne, Albert Finney, Marcia Gay Harden) An advisor to a Prohibition-era crime boss tries to keep the peace between warring gangs Barton Fink (1992, John Turturro, John Goodman), A successful New York playwright goes to California to write for the movies The Sting (1973, Robert Redford, Paul Newman), Two grifters team up to pull off the ultimate con

Terdell Ferguson

I would also again recommend FREE GUY (2021) - with Ryan Reynolds. Ready Player One was a fun watch with y'all, and FREE GUY is in that vein of fun, just a bit different.

L77045

I never leave recommendations because I figure you guys get enough, but one I can't wait to see some reactors start on is the 2010 movie The Warrior's Way. Seriously fun and underrated film that's started to gain more appreciation as time has gone on. It suffered at release from a poorly organized trailer that didn't convey how much of an over the top comic book type movie it was, full of brilliant caricatures more so than normal characters.

proVaxxer

I hope you get around to watching HER eventually. It's an amazing movie you'd love but it'll never win a poll because the unwashed masses only watch trash.

ExtraBigAssTaco

Random thought inspired by something else: Why haven't I suggested Three Amigos! yet? OK, now I have. That is all.

Stephen Walters

Finally joined Patreon after a year of watching YouTube videos. Clue is a fun movie. Witty humor and a murder mystery rolled into one movie.

Kelly Pickard

Pitching for the next adventure movie poll (or the next no-particular-theme poll): Hook, 1991. One of my favorite childhood movies. Adult Peter Pan, played by Robin Williams, returns to Neverland to save his kids who've been kidnapped by Captain Hook.

Hans Czajkowski Jørgensen

Just a random vote for Jackie Brown (1997) for no particular reason other than it's a good movie.

Joey Fisher

I'd love to recommend Dazed and Confused. 1993 film with a lot of young actors we all still know today. Matthew McConaughey Ben Affleck Cole Hauser Parker Posey Mila Jovovich Lauren Adams

David Sumner

RoadHouse! Why is no one reacting to Roadhouse!

Smooticus

Wait, didn't you guys already see Crocodile Dundee?

Smooticus

Kinda bummed Glory didn't score higher. A great movie and probably the best dramatic movie Matthew Broderick ever did. Denzel Washington won his first Academy Award, and Morgan Freeman is amazing Definitely one to consider as a runner up
