The last weekly polls winner was The Wizard of Oz, which will be available this Saturday. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

Nemo

I recommend Ted for a future poll. :)

beefjerkywizard

I mean you can't go wrong with any on these

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

Eurotrip will require some censoring, but it’s such a fun stupid movie that deserves to be known more

paul rai

Probably my favorite Brad Pitt performance in Burn After Reading. He plays doofus so well. One of the more underrated Coen Brothers film.

Śéáń

I have been looking for an excuse to watch Burn After Reading again lately. It's a work of art.

Mark Messer

If you guys are ever going to watch war of the worlds, I would say just know that it’s referenced a lot and one of the “scary movies”

streaky

Sister Act underrated.

kbobravo

McGruber! He made a fuckin movie! McGruber! IYKYK

Daniel VanDusen

McGruber has some of the most hilarious randomness ever put on film. Just be prepared to edit.

Benjamin Trewin

Simone and George don't know... That Scotty doesn't know. Eurotrip is a must

Dag Einar Bergli

Scary Movie 2 and Eurotrip are both absolute gems

Senec

Bump for "Nobody" to make it onto another poll :)

DemNikoArt

Eurotrip is so silly is almost goes full circle to being genius. Also has one of the best cameos ever! Why? Because Scotty doesn't know... :D I also have some suggestions for the next comedy poll: - Blades of Glory (Ridiculous comedy with Will Ferrell and John Heder about two competing male ice skaters) - Starsky & Hutch (Ben Stiller and Owen Willson teaming up again!) - I love you man (romantic comedy but with two dudes that try to become best friends, with Paul Rudd & Jason Segal) - Palm Springs (groundhog Day with Andy Samberg) - Cloudy with a chance of meatballs (Lord & Miller's first directed and already hilarious animated movie) - Beerfest (ridiculous comedy about a group of friends who compete in an international beer drinking contest. From the Super Troopers guys)

Byron Abrahams

Simone doesn't know...... how great Euro Trip is gonna be.

Mykel

Win or lose, Burn After Reading is Coen Brothers and as funny as The Big Lebowski. You will want to see it at some point sooner than later. ;)

Peter Vasey

Comedy recommendations: Top Secret! (1984) Black Dynamite (2009) Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)

Michael Short

S otty doesn't know! Scotty doesn't know!

David Crabtree

Scotty doesn't know! Scotty doesn't know!

Joe Mallard

Anything but the horrid Burn After Reading.

Brent Petty

City Slickers is a good one.

JH138138

Scary movie 2!!!!! While not the best, they at least have to watch up to the 3rd movie, which is arguably the best in the franchise lol

Wilss

Can we get Wayne's World 2 in a future poll please?

Florian

We didn't watch Sister Act? One of my mothers favourite movies, I loved to watch it with her 😊

DonkyDave

You guys should just watch all these!

jmundt33a

Stranger Than Fiction or Oscar,

darkmoobs

MacGruber is criminally underrated

ShōNuff3K

Yeesh. Dislike all these. No vote.

Raymond DeGraw

Great reactions... I enjoy watching along. Here is my list of hopefuls to watch... 1. Alita Battle Angel 2. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 3. The Game 4. Secondhand Lions 5. Labyrinth

GoodManTheDan

Oh man, there are no bad films on this list but please make MacGruber #1 :)

Logan Kerlee

xD I really enjoy all of these, feels weird choosing between them.

FWPJR.

Eurotrip, Scary Movie 2, and Hangover 2, and American Pie 2 are all great ( I’ve only seen Sister Act out of the others ) I think Scary Movie 2 is a much watch no matter what since you’ve reacted to the 1st, so even if it doesn’t win I hope you two do it soon.

powerofdusk

Burn After Reading, and it's not even close. Can't say I like ANY of these movies (Macgruber has it's moments)

The Gunslinger

You should check out Coraline at some point. It's a brilliant stop motion animated film. From the man behind The Nightmare before Christmas.

Happy Hanukkah

Besides featuring Brad Pitt's adorable smile which one cannot but love, Burn After Reading leaves one with an invaluable life lesson. Nonetheless: Eurotrip, all the way.

Simon Pegged Me

For a Coen Brothers good time, Raising Arizona.

Dwight Scarn

I don't understand why so many people liked Eurotrip. I thought it was entertaining enough but was underwhelming. ...I say Scary movie 2 or American Pie 2 ( so they can get to American Wedding because its comedy gold).....Also Cable Guy with Jim Carrey would be a weird fun time.

Victor Fiegel

MacGruber may be the most underrated comedy of all time

Adam K

Yeesh - throwing more love towards Michael Clayton and Million Dollar Baby. If it’s comedy - throwing Bridesmaids, We’re the Millers, or Big.

Amar

There were some comedies around that time which are excellent like "Game Night". I also recommend watching "Project X" Which is a true story of the craziest house party EVER. True story, Wild!!!

Jeff Klonowski

Other comedies that are reaction worthy, Wet Hot American Summer, Grandma's Boy, Detroit Rock City, Fan Boys, The Burbs

Matt Chris

American Pie 2 > all .

Michael Buhl

Please consider watching the original 1979 version of The In-Laws. It's hysterical!

DM DC

Eurotrip is my first choice. It's hilarious. Sister Act is really good. 2nd choice. American Pie 2 is funny, but like the first one probably wouldn't have worked as well in this day in age.

Random Nevermind

Two random funny movies recommendations: Drunken Master (pure classic) Nothing to loose (highly underrated comedy)

Tenn Seven

Eurotrip all day on this one. American Pie 2, The Hangover 2, and Scary Movie 2 are all pretty disappointing followups to their originals, and just bad movies in general. Burn After Reading is probably the least entertaining Coen Brothers movie. Sister Act is pretty good, and I can't really comment on Macgruber. All in all a pretty weak poll. EDIT: Also, PCU would be a great comedy for you to watch! It features John Favreau before he got famous in Swingers (another great one), Jeremy Piven before he got famous in Entourage, and David Spade when he was already famous.

Slick

Makes me sad to see MacGruber in last place, it's so funny and probably my favorite on this list. That said, I voted for EuroTrip as it's the second fav on the list, but the better reaction movie I think. Maybe MacGruber next time.

Tim T—

Finally a free Saturday.

Seefah

This isn't where I parked my car!

Brianna Williams

Scary Movie 2 - I'm not speaking hyperbolically - is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's so quotable.

Tay Schumaker

MacGruber won’t win but holy shit is it the funniest movie listed here Burn After Reading is also fantastic

Gratch... just Gratch

Keep hoping to see "Short Circuit" appear in comedy polls. Someday... some beautiful day.

HeyHeyJK

I'm all confused as to why "Burn After Reading" is on here when the Coen brothers first comedy film, "Raising Arizona" with Nicolas Cage and John Goodman isn't. You NEED to see RA. I'll vote for BAR in its place but for reals get RA on a poll please and thank you.

Ronnie

MacGruber isn’t gonna win, but it’s soooo funny. I hope you all can do it eventually

Jeremy

We need to get Bubble Boy on this list at some point.

William Rauckhorst

If you haven't seen it already, I recommend Three Amigos for the next comedy poll.

Jeff I.

Like others have said, MacGruber won't win, but it's arguably one of the funniest movies on this poll. Hope y'all check it out someday!

Travis H

I grew up on Sister Act and Sister Act 2 (which is just as good as the 1st no matter what the reviews say!) and I love them both even though I am not religious at all! Comedy recs: Game Night Paddington Palm Springs

JoeE

Would also recommend kingpin and ted

Nate Gavin

Why???? that should be on the AMA lol. Ok enough ranting from an entitled audience member here. Thanks for your hard work as always.

Tom M

I voted for Burn After Reading and MacGruber. Burn because it’s in second place and I’d want to see the reaction over Eurotrip. MacGruber because that’s my first choice but it’s in last place. MacGruber is soooooo funny.

Patrick

Idk if you guys have seen it or not, but "Not another teen movie" is really underrated. It makes fun 90's/2000's teen coming of age movies.

Pat Gillen

Burn After Reading is a masterpiece

sarCC

Sister Act is very good and has some terrific performances. Easily the best of the bunch here.

Dazzler & Em

Scary movie 2, scary movie 2🤣🤣

tundra

Raising Arizona is funnier than any of these choices.

Mr. Writhms

Never heard of "Eurotrip" and it's leading the poll. I think I'm in the wrong timeline again.

Tyler Foster

Damn, when I first looked at this a few hours ago, I thought Burn After Reading was winning. Can't say I personally think Eurotrip is especially good (except for the movie's most famous musical joke), but hopefully BAR can come in second and show up later.

Andrew

Y'all are weird AF, lol, first I Am Legend and now Eurotrip.

Alex Ch

Ok guess I’m voting for MacGruber. Not a lot here for me, which is fine. I’d love to see Game Night or the original Muppet Movie show up in a comedy poll.

Mike Miner

When you've got 3 sequels in a comedy poll, this is objectively bad stuff. Has there ever been a good comedy sequel that has surpassed the original? This poll is objectively bad in the way that 2000s fashion is bad. Put on your backwards caps and crank up some Limp Biskit!

jmundt33a

Eurotrip? Oh for goodness sake! Well, an impromptu Cinecringe for Simone. Enjoy folks.

Marshall Mitcham

This is democracy manifest! Truly surprised by the top choice so far, but all good. I’m also equally shocked (and excited) that Burn After Reading is in second place! Didn’t see that coming either.

Happy Hanukkah

"Movie Poll: Life is hard, lets laugh!" Obligatory: Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.

Raven Dark

My vote isn't sticking. I chose a movie, and then when I hit refresh, where it should still show the box I checked having been checked, it's blank again. I hope that made sense.

M.C.G

None of these really align with my tastes, but that's okay! Comedy is the most subjective genre, and I'm just happy for the folks who are going to get a reaction they have been wanting for a while.

PIG

“It was just lying there…”

John

Thanks as always for the great content. Here is a suggestion for a future poll (Arthurian Movies): 1. Excalibur 2. The Sword and the Stone 3. King Arthur 4. First Knight 5. The Green Knight 6. Camelot (1967)

Mycenaeus

After "The Clue", another great movie with Madeline Kahn would be "What's Up, Doc?" I should also recommend "Murder by Death", "The Trouble with Harry", and "Some Like It Hot".

Thomaz Chagas

Some suggestions: - Almoust Famous (2000) - written and directed by Cameron Crowe - Big Fish (2003) - Make sure Simone is hydrated before watching. - Gangs of New York (2002) - Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio - Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)

Brendan Rafferty

American Pie was good. Every sequel or spinoff using the name was not

John Neiberger

I can't say that I understand why Eurotrip is getting so many votes. That's a head-scratcher.

Johen Kay

Eurotrip no contest. But please think about watching Brightburn, Gattaca, and Sinister (Sinister is for Simone).

G P

Burn After Reading is my pick, but Euro Trip was surprisingly good.

G P

Eyes Wide Shut The Game Barry Lyndon Dune (1984) - this film is hated, but its absolutely worth watching Blue Velvet The Man Who Wasn't There

Cubonemaker

I’m so happy that Eurotrip is winning so far

This Justin

You guys should watch Toy Soldiers.

This Justin

euro trip is such a mid movie

Maddie

I need them to watch Raising Arizona! Another Coen comedy!

Alex Ch

Oh Oscars reminded me of a comedy recommendation! Schwarzenegger. DeVito. “Twins.”

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Eurotrip’s a definite mid-2000s college comedy hoot but Burn After Reading has a hilarious Brad Pitt performance worth seeing just for the fun of it. Good list of choices for a laugh anyways 🙂

Angzarr

I'd love to see a reaction to The Impostors, a forgotten gem of a comedy. It's a 1998 movie in the style of a 1930's screwball comedy, with a great cast. I think you'd both enjoy it. Alas, it will never win a poll as nobody has ever heard of it! As far as I can tell, nobody has ever done a reaction to it.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Surprised nobody’s brought up The Daniel’s directorial debut “Swiss Army Man”, maybe my favorite role that I’ve seen Daniel Radcliffe in. “Black Dynamite” is a great spoof/celebration of Blaxploitation movies. And for something I find myself quoting on a daily basis “Heathers”, the 1989 film of course, don’t ask me about any musicals.

ExtraBigAssTaco

Here's a slightly obscure gem, that I just remembered yesterday - Oscar (1991) Starring Sylvester Stallone, and a huge ensemble cast including Marisa Tomei, and Tim Curry. It's hard to summarize, it's kind of unique, and I think that you both would enjoy it, and it may be new for a lot of viewers.

Darin Foat

I voted for Sister Act in honor of my friend Kate, because it's far and away her favorite movie.

Max Carter

Sorry but I'm convinced that everyone voting for Eurotrip just has fond memories of watching it back in the 2000s (I sure do don't get me wrong) but tbh it really doesn't hold up that well imo. Burn after Reading on the other hand is chefs kiss

Brandon Meng

Scary Movie 2 is definitely overdue for a reaction. Really hoped you guys had done it last October, too impatient to wait for next October! Other missed opportunities for comedies: Forgetting Sarah Marshall *one of my absolute all time favorites* I Love You, Man Walk Hard Pineapple Express She's Out of My League Off-beat comedies: The Royal Tenenbaums Sideways The Holdovers Punch Drunk Love Clerks Election Rushmore Can't go wrong with any of these!

Ronnie

MacGruber is in dead last and it’s BY FAR the funniest movie in this group. So underrated

Dan Holmes

The New Guy should be on here lol

Skyruff Creative

For this i suggest “the crew”(2000) “crime spree” (2003) or “the whole nine yards”(2000) or going back further “support your local sheriff!”(1969).

Spacedone

Here's a few funny movies for you to think about: - Slap Shot (1977) - Paul Newman - The Longest Yard (1974) - Burt Reynolds - They Cloned Tyrone (2023) - Jamie Foxx, John Boyega - Midnight Run (1988) - Robert De Niro - Dolomite Is My Name (2019) - Eddie Murphy

Chase Schleich

Wow. Never would have thought Eurotrip would be winning out of that list. Haven't seen it in forever. I'm good with almost anything on this list though (except Sister Act. Was ok when I was a kid, but doesn't hold up).

MoonageDaydream

I’m not typically into teen comedies but I love Eurotrip. F🌞ck the haters! (just kidding, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea)

Troy Ross

I am very happy Eurotrip is doing well. The best of the franchise by far.

FranciscoGios

I think they really need the laughs after watching The Neverending Story. Eurotrip!! Beware travelers

sheriffjt

I've always felt that Eurotrip needs to be watched with Hostel as a double feature.

sheriffjt

Also, better Coen brothers comedies than that one. Raising Arizona for instance

Shibby

Eurotrip is hilarious. Just be aware there are two versions, one has 2 extra minutes of stuff.

Eric Wilson

Oh, for comedy this is one of the funniest movies I can almost guarantee you never heard of! Oscar.

G P

Forgot to add The Royal Tenenbaums - Wes Anderson's best film, but I think Simone has seen it

Kevin Kuma

Dang, I thought "MacGruber" was hilarious, and one of the last good SNL spin offs. I must be wrong, considering it's dead last lol.

Peter Hudson

"Scotty Doesn't Know" is still a fucking catchy song

UnlicensedOkie

One to consider is The Menu If you love food and you enjoy really good performances

Studio

Europtrip is such a phenomenal film. Huge inspiration as a script writer for me. That film defined the early generation of 2000s teens. Wait a minute, this isn't where I parked me car...

nossieboy

I hated Scary Movie 2 when I first saw it but after some contemplation realised that the film was actually hilarious.

Fabian Kracik

Free guy, Free guy, Free guy..... pleeeeaaaassseeee

Smooticus

Y'all need to watch Biloxi Blues

MR

For a parody movie that is the exact opposite of unfunny lame cringe like MacGruber, check out Black Dynamite. They even speak some Chinese in it.

Jay

Not a fan of the X-Men series but I get it. They're very popular and I often see people asking for them. However, are large numbers of people seriously asking to continue the American Pie and Scary Movie franchises? I like both original movies, but the rest are pure dog shit. Offensively unfunny trash. Edit - please don't take offence if you like those movies. I love plenty of movies that most other people would describe as offensively bad trash. I just don't want/expect them to ever take up valuable Cinebinge slots.

Jonah

I'm not a fan of anime, nor do I suggest doing anime reactions, however I've recently gotten deep into attack on titan and firmly believe and have read many people say that it's a story, and anime that people of all walks can enjoy, not just people who like anime. It's got a fantastic story, great writing, and some of the best music/soundtrack I've ever heard in a show. It's an absolute mind fuck. Furthermore the sub and dub are both great so whatever format you like is acceptable (except weebs and super fans of the show will obviously say to do sub, they will beg plead and absolutely trash on the dub) But please put it up for consideration. Maybe throw it in a poll. There's like 80, 20 minute episodes, over 4 seasons so you could do block format like you have with other shows. And even split it up between months like you have with BB and the other show. just put it up for thought! Please! I'm still not fully on board with anime in general, I just loved this show and pretty much everything about it, if you dislike this show feel free to say so, but anti-anime butthurt people need not share their hate. This ain't that post. There's something for everyone on this channel and not everything has to be for everyone. And I think it could bring another whole new demographic to your reactions.

Jonah

how is the hangover 2 not winning. that should just be in the list to knock out next anyway since you've already done number 1 lol.

Rob Church

I know you guys would love Wet Hot American Summer.

JH

Also how about some docs? I know it would be extensive and complicated but, ever thought about doing a reaction to something like In search of Darkness/Action/Tomorrow?

Sir Dongle

One of the best polls! Literally can't wait for you guys to watch each one of these options 👍🏻

Sir Dongle

Some comedies I would like to add for potential future polls please 🤞🏻: -Walk Hard -Grandma's Boy -Murder Party -Waiting... -Mystery Men -Slammin' Salmon -Undercover Brother -Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny -Popstar -Bedazzled -Joe Dirt -Airheads -Black Knight -Big Momma's House -Mallrats -Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back -Not Another Teen Movie -Old School -Role Models -Best in Show -Waiting for Guffman -How High

Ryan Mitchell

I’d like to submit “The Death of Stalin” for consideration in future comedy polls.

christopher b swanson

american pie 2..............when u see it, enjoy the scene where they use alien ant farm smooth criminal cover............1 of the greatest comedic bits ever

Kyle B

MacGruber is so freaking stupid and hilarious. It's a real shame that it flew so far under the radar.

Kelly Pickard

Want to pitch Hook (91) again, if you guys haven't already seen it. It's a classic.

Lood

If Eurotrip wins, watch the unrated version. It's better.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

I have the following movie suggestion: "Annihilation" from 2018. Very interesting movie.

Scotty Scott

I just rewatched the Spinal Tap reaction and I'm surprised you haven't reacted to Best in Show and/or Waiting for Guffman, which is most of the same people, with a very similar vibe.

Syndee Pond

You seriously need to watch 'The Pirate Movie" awesome musical comedy from 1982....

Efrain Zavala

Could you please react to "The Heartbreak Kid" (2007)? Thanks

CD

Respectable showing, for Burn After Reading; IMO, the 2nd most-underrated Coen title (Miller’s Crossing, earning top spot). Hopefully, they’ll get around to it.

Lachlan Caldwell

I'd like to recommend the Pink Panther movies. The original Peter Sellers classics.

romeo-a-go-goat

It's a show not a movie, but I think it would be great to see y'all react to Hazbin Hotel (starting with the pilot)!

Dan Holmes

i can't believe eurotrip won this lol

Jesse Coombs

Lots of fun choices on this poll. I'm on my quest to get you guys to see all of the Coen Brothers movies, so I'm hoping that after you watch "Burn After Reading", you add "Raising Arizona" to a future poll. I'm rewatching it now (it's one of my favorites!) and I'm excited to see your reaction.
