Delighted. 😜 Good one. Two men walk into a café; sit at a table and the waitress comes over and ask "What can I get for you?". One inspects the menu and the woman and says with a wry smile: "Could you give me a quickie?" The woman, stunned, brushes off the comment and asks again. The man replies and points. "A quickie, just on that counter there?" With a smile and some urgency in his voice. The woman reels back her arm to slap him and his mate, sniggering shouts "Woah! Wait!" And turns to his pal, "FFS, mate it's pronounced Quiche!" Did you hear all the way back there Mandy? New camera? Or just playing with settings?

I don't know if the sets and cast of this one are limited enough to qualify, but it sounds like what you are describing hating is the concept of a "bottle episode".

My washing machine tells me how long the cycle will take. It's very nice to know. Normal eco wash takes about 2 hours, quick wash takes 15 minutes to 30 depending on the temperature you set.

I like this one too, in some shows Mark and Jez are off having separate adventures and they only see each other at the start or end and this is a nice counterpoint to that. Go go gadget legs! 😁

Domestic tip: Longer washing machine cycles use less electricity. Only use 15 min cycles if you are Jeremy in a sitch.

I’m shocked that Mandy didn’t mention the Friends episode where Chandler gets stuck in an ATM lobby. I suppose the whole episode didn’t take place in one location but I can’t remember.

I'm not sure if washing machines there are all front loading like they are in the UK, I know that's not common in the US. However, the reason for the time difference based on temperature is because mine is a cold water input only. So it has to heat the water itself. I think a lot of UK washing machines are that way. Also mine will take a 12kg load, but you're not doing a quick wash with that amount. For a couple of pairs of trousers and a few t-shirts however, 15 minutes is fine. However, if you only run it at the 20C quick wash it will cause problems. I prefer to do 40C on the quick wash as it still only takes 30 minutes but doesn't build up a musty smell over time, since I rarely need to do a full wash of anything EDIT: also it was actually quite cheap, and somehow has a steam clean function. It can steam sterilise items. I think it cost me £300 but the next closest I could find with that function, £1000, so I'm not sure if I just got really lucky

For that matter, my Samsung fridge freezer, cost me £400 and a week later was £600. Exact same model. I know I got lucky on that one

I'm a few episodes behind because I've been in hospital. When I got home to my flat I've moved into only few months ago the feeling of home hit me BIG! So I reckon the feelings you get of excitement or security come in moments like that... Returning home or having a nice catch up dinner with friends.. until then it's just bricks and water
