I may be bias cuz JK is my bias 🤣 but I agree with you, Jody. All the members love on JK not only cuz he's their baby, but also because he's incredibly lovable as a person. He also loves and looks up to each one of them and is in some ways an amalgamation of all of their personalities. Lastly, they all know what a phenom he is and they're proud AF of him and thankful for him too. If you watch Suga's show Suchwita with JK you see just how proud Grandpa Yoongi is of his little grasshopper.

Jungkooks lives streams from the whole of last year he couldn’t stop mentioning jimin’s name 😭 there’s a compilation of everytime he said he name over all the lives and it’s around 2 minutes long , keep in mind they say his name pretty fast so 😭 also there was this time Jungkook replied to jimin’s post ‘i miss you’ on Weverse and he replied ‘me too’ then proceeded to do a 2 hour long live of videos around jimin . It definitely goes both ways but jimin is more obvious with it

I will say that maybe some can be bisexual. However I think they play up on the affection even more in concerts bc fans love it. There’s this thing in kpop called “fan service”. Which usually includes touching and fans go crazy for it. That’s a small part though. They obviously choose to do this. There are definitely people who actually think they’re dating and I think that’s a big assumption to turn them selves on lol 😂

People will say "Korean culture" but any Korean will tell you that it's still very weird to give your friend a hickey or suck on their ear. Crosses a line of intimacy. People will say fanservice but Jimin has already stated that he really hates doing fanservice. Jk and jm are just extremely close (i.e choosing companion system for military) and none of us can actually know what their relationship to each other fully entails but maaaaan I want something as sweet and tender as that. I love watching your Reactions Jody. Honestly all of the group I think have pairings that maybe a little Sus to people. That is just there culture, I've dated Korean Men before and I have seen them display love and affection for a friend like this before. I means nothing to them like it does here in America. It's not gay to them because they weren't raised like that. It's just them. I can't lie I was a little irritated at certain parts of the video because of certain things that were said. I also understand everyone hasn't fully educated themselves on Koreans and their culture. Also Jimin and JK are both from Busan, so they have an extra special connection. You should check out some Vope videos next V/ J-hope. Or Taekook videos if you want to see them get jealous and possession over one another.

Jimin has stated many of times that Jungkook reminds him so much of his little brother back home. Their relationship may seem alot different from that of others because it is. It's their culture and how two siblings.. are with one another. Jimin would be considered the oldest brother so their reactions are those of a big brother to his little brother.. vice versa. Some things may seem weird to others but it does have a lot to do with respect and care.

Personally I think the majority of comments are respectful on here, we often feel triggered if underhanded comments or close minded jabs are made. It's a little different culturally in Korea when it comes to relationships between male friends ( close ones). Since Korea is still a conservative country, it's not very common for men or women to be openly gay; as a result, it's not talked about like in the US, where we are more open to discussing those topics. So if two male friends are very close, no one would think anything of it if they are hugging or touching a lot. People will see how close they are and somewhat celebrate it because they are best friends. However, this varies from person to person, of course. When it comes to the members, yes, Jimin is the culprit most of the time in initiating affection, but so is J-Hope. He loves his brothers (the other remembers), and it comes out in touching them a lot. Suga and RM are less inclined to do that just because they aren't very touchy-feely people, but they do have their moments with the other members and allow hugs or touches to be given or received. Jin is also one that likes to touch the others a lot, but when it comes to Jungkook, it somehow always turns into them play fighting lol. Taehyung and Jungkook are okay with touching and hugging as well, but no one tops Jimin in that department. Jimin is just an affectionate guy who has a lot of love to give everyone. At the end of the day, they are from a different culture so they show comradery and brotherhood differently than us here in the US. I'm sure they look at us and think we’re strange for not being as affectionate with our closest friends. Anyways, its all love, thank you so much for the reaction 💜

They all have sus moments with each other, but Jikook might have the most lol. Like I said before, all members are close and love one another, but Jikook seems to spend the most time together ( especially now with Jikook being together throughout their military service) out of all the members. We don't know all the boys' sexualities and it doesn't matter because regardless we love and support all of them. I definitely hope you do more duo vids, just be careful of them being edited and weird ship videos. There are channels that have great duo vids and you can see their different dynamics. Respectfully I’ll have to disagree. Obviously I don’t know Kion or Saddler so my opinion is nothing but the tone and context with how he called him a woman wasn’t giving “amazed by his beauty compliment”. It was very much giving toxic misgendering for jokes and dismissing him as a man, this was further verified when he called Suga a d*** and your eyes almost popped out ur head. I appreciate how you tried to call them out throughout the video, especially considering this is intentionally made to highlight sus moments. On the flip side it’s important to call people out when they say things like that and not to defend it, calling them out doesn’t have to be done on camera either but lets call a spade a spade.

I don't think I'm able to tell whether or not what JK and Jimin (or other 'pairs' for that matter) are doing is anything more than friendship with jokes. I know for sure that Suga - although he is not good at showing affection (not emotion!), looked for Jimin's hand a lot to hold it and he does hold his hand as well many times. As I said before, V and Jimin are best friends and they hug and hold hands a lot, but they have talked a lot about their friendship and that makes me sure they are not into each other. I find JK interesting though when it comes to relationships: he is like, in love with ARMY and he even said in a live that 'we' (meaning ARMYs and him) are more than like friends, we are more like lovers. He also apologised for having a lady in the Seven video. He spends time with ARMY like none of the others. He said he knows he will break ARMYs' hearts when he will eventually get married and that it really hurts him. Perhaps because he was only 15 when he got into this, he seems to have a different relationship with fans and what fans in his mind are. It could also be his personality too. He is very cute, lovely and affectionate, so of course we all love him.

Relationships between men, whether friendship, platonic or romantic love were always a thing in Korea. In the old days they praised young, beautiful men and if you remember, V acted in the Korean drama Hwarang, where these men lived together and often with the prince or king. They for sure have a different understanding of this, whereas women and relationships with women are totally another cup of tea. You will never see Jimin (or any of them) touch women (Korean or other nationality) and they avoid looking at them directly or like Western men do. I've seen many occasions where Jimin is with young ladies; he apologised for touching a dancer when he was not supposed to according to the choreography, he has been very respectful and courteous in his short videos where he danced with female Kpop idols etc. And he is called the flirt king. But I'd like to add something to this. Their personality on and off camera is most probably very different. V said that V is his idol personality, he acts differently on stage. He even reacts differently when someone calls him V vs Taehyung. Perhaps the closest to their real personality we can see is their live broadcasts. Even in these behind the scene etc. footage they are aware that they are being filmed. They have been doing this basically every day for more than 10 years.

i see that situation with "Seven MV" being in a jokingly manner. When it comes to actual crazy or delusional fans then BTS don't give in. Jungkook saying we're " lovers ", was just a little joke, much more often he refers to ARMYs as his family or dear friends. The same goes for the running joke of armys holding posters of ",YOONGI MARRY ME", the fans don't think yoongi/suga will actually marry them after seeing that poster. It's true that the bond between ARMYs and the boys has been so strong and been so close for 10 years, so it's a weird familiar relationship, where there's love and adoration, but not in a real romantic or real relationship type of way. And the boys have often drawn the line with fans, yes they joke with us as if we'd be jealous since it's a kpop industry funny thing, but they do draw the line when it comes to actual delusional fans.

Accepting constructive feedback and having engaging discussions is a sign of maturity. Jody if you’re feeling burdened please let us know. The vibe on patreon is different to YT and largely respectful while still joking and having fun. Saying we should just move on because we’re doing a lot in the comments is not how to build a community or grow a channel. In Korea it is normal for really close friends of the same gender to be affectionate and touchy/clingy with eachother. But are very respectful of the other gender. of course it depends on the individual person tho. BTS have never officially confirmed nor denied their sexuallity. But they have said that they see each other as brothers and are like a really close family. I will also add that the members themself have said that they do NOT like to be shipped romantically. BTS has been together almost everyday for 10+ years now, and used to live together in a small apartment. That is bound to make them very comfortable around eachother. The makne line are the most affectionate with eachother by far, but they are also like that with the rest of the members. Jimin have said that jungkook reminds him of his actual younger brother, and that he think jungkook is cute like an adoreble little brother. I will also mention that some of the scenes in this video are just them messing around with eachother. Like the scene where jimin is laying on top of jungkook on the couch, he was doing that to hold jungkook down. In the full clip of that you can see jungkook struggle to get jimin off. ............................................................................................................................. On a lighter note tho. I like that you Jody try to understand that there is a big difference in culture between korea and america. I personally dont really think they act gay, but more like close friends that are not afraid to be a little suss with eachother. I'd say some things are difficult to understand sometimes; often because a lot of us are not Korean and don't speak Korean and also because they can joke, of course. Look at my avatar (it's an AI pic) - I use it partly as a protest for those people who tell him not to smoke or hate him because of it. Stupidity is limitless. I watched this guy on IG and he was talking about hate comments and he said “I know you are trying to insult me by saying I look like a girl, but that’s a compliment in Korea, you are saying I’m pretty, so thank you” If you look, there are videos like this about all the members. These two are the most affectionate though. My personal opinion is that Jimin is Bi, but Suga is the only one who has said anything that implies he is bi, and also in his music. He holds hands with Jimin quite a bit too. If any one of them is gay or Bi, the others are going to be supportive of it. Rm is the least touchy but I think it’s because he is fluent in English and knows what people say about it and very conscious of their image. He did say in a recent live that Jimin is the cutest thing in the whole wide world, even he has his soft moments. Jikook, Jihope, Yoonmin, Minimoni, Vkook, if you look, there are many videos edited to look sus with all the combos. I don’t care if they are gay or bi or not, it’s super cute. Even when Jimin wears the bi flag, it could be in support of someone else and he is sweet that way. It could be that they are fluid now but will settle down at some point and have children. Hi Jody, just wanna add that shipping is a big thing in Korea. It has been part of k-pop for well over a decade. It’s routed in fans of particular groups or members being slightly obsessive and not wanting to accept their idols being romantically or sexually active with anyone else if it’s not them. So they rather think that their idols are with another member of the same group as it’s easier for them to handle. So k-pop groups started doing what is now known as fan service ie they flirt with each other on stage or in public settings as it keeps their fans happy. This something you will see in all k-pop groups , male or female and their fans shipping each of them with another member. Also there are different ships within these groups. For example each member of BTS has people shipping them with all of the other individual members.

There was also an incident several years ago of Jungkook being photographed with a girl, nothing controversial and a female fan cut herself, took a photo and sent it to Bighit saying to Jungkook ‘look what you made me do’. Also these shipping videos are deliberately made and edited to try and prove the ship and excite or confirm this to those fans. The clips in this, such as Jungkook, Jimin and J-hope lying on the floor ‘spooning’ was actually Jungkook asleep, J-hope lay behind him to annoy and wake him up, Jimin joined in and annoying squeezed in the middle of them. Also all members try and wake up others, if all else fails they will jump on them, roll over them fling their legs and arms over just to be annoying.

It makes me sad that people make these videos and then other people watch and take it that they’re real. Such as yourselves, then commenting and believing they are gay and it’s real. I know you tried to explain Korean culture of skinship. Which is a lovely thing in my opinion, so often people feel as close to friends or even possibly more so than their family. Koreans are confident enough to express this physically as well as emotionally. But I think people should educate themselves on others cultures before making such decisive decisions and comments. Just as they should with all cultures, including black culture which I know is important to you and your friends. I know I might be wrong, but I feel you and your friends would not take lightly to this and would also feel hurt by peoples judgement. Maybe you could stay away from controversial stuff like this and carry on with all the other great videos you have been making 💜

Twt speculates abt Suga a lot lol. Honestly, yoongi, jimin, and rm have shown subtle support for the community in different ways. Whether it means they identify w it or are just in support as an ally, either is truly amazing. Many members have used bisexual colors/lighting especially here recently (tho this could be something production did as well). And then there’s Tae showing love to gay/lesbian army’s quite a few times at concerts.
