Hohenheim

OST is "Crisis in the north - Akira Senju". Akira is my fav

Jimmy Nylund

You're right, it's Mile's thought process about what he thinks General Grumann is thinking. It's a bit ambiguous and many reactors misunderstand this.

Jeffery Sit

The last time Van Hohenheim met Ed, he had just found out that his wife was dead, both his sons had committed the taboo and burned down the house, so it’s understandable that he was acting like an asshole.

Pedro D. G.

I really think that Grumman thinks exactly like that, he's an sly old fox who resented being demoted when he thought he would be promoted

DrSophieDarlingReacts

I didn't think he was acting like an arsehole - rather he just didn't know how to speak with him after being gone so long.

Justin Doan

Akira Senju was part of the OST?? Dude's a legend

Hohenheim

He made all the songs in this show

Dont forget, there are 2 pairs of Chimera (1 set travelled with Al, one with Ed) with different view on their transformations.

I find the Hohenheim question tough. He left his family for the right reasons, it was noble, and he HAD to do it. But, he still did leave his young children and asked they not be told the reason. He had no idea Trisha would die, but he effectively orphaned them. Even if done for good reasons, that's a traumatizing thing to do to your young kids. I'd never blame Ed for holding a grudge. Could Hohenheim have done that in a better way? Or would he be incapable of doing it in a less painful way because his fears hold him back? And is the damage he did to their adolescence excusable?

DrSophieDarlingReacts

I'm not saying that Ed's feelings are invalid and I completely feel it's justified BUT I believe Hohenheim did what he could to protect his family and his boys because he loved them. Being a parent requires sacrifice and that sacrifice is often painful and not understood by the child. What may seem cruel may be a kindness and I think the older Ed gets - the more he'll understand his father.

Jeffery Sit

I just cant find the right word😂 Look weird? Keeping distance? Hope you know what I mean😂

Wyld89

I agree with all of that, but as an example: could Hohenheim have done something like sent letters back to the family, or checked in on them? Or would it have been less traumatic for the kids if he'd allowed Trisha to explain what he was doing/why he was going? I guess I'm questioning his methods more than his actions, though I also realize his own flaws and issues dictated them

Wyld89

My interpretation was that those WERE Grumman's thoughts, and then it's shown that Miles also guessed what they were. So the answer is both of them. Grumman thought that, and Miles guessed correctly

Greeling reminds me so much of the Venom movie dynamics lol (Tom Hardy is such a babe)
