I started reading the manga after season 1, so I knew some stuff would have the stern shippers in total shambles but episode 1 was still surprising. I thought frieren asking stark if he was uncomfortable, I took that as he felt uncomfortable travelling with just women. I know he's not and has no reason too but still she's checking up on him. I could be wrong on that it could be travelling with fern . Anyway hyped for season 2

I read it was more uncomfortable because of the awkwardness between him and Fern after him stumbling on them but that also could be because they are women and he's a young man haha! Same thing really so we're both right!

Im not a manga reader so I cant say 100% but I think you can watch the op & ed. Many scenes were season 1 inspired and I dont feel like I was spoilered.

Letsssss goooooooo! So we are already shedding tears of joy from the first episode of second season lol. I see what you did with your hair Dr. Sophie, Little Frieren cosplay. vinland and frieren drops side by side on same days. This is peak of Dr Sophie's content creator journey. Also i need to mention, I never get over the fact that Nobuhiko Okamoto (voice actor of Himmel) has also voice acted Nishinoya ( a character in Haikyuu!!) and Genya (a character demon slayer). He has such an amazing range as a voice actor. I find his voice is so soothing as Himmel.

I just finished watching episode 1 and then came to see your reaction. When they talk about running away together, I thought of a thing a sensei of mine would say in mixed martial arts - never initiate a fight, the first option should always be safety. And I thought of that while watching this. Because there truly is courage in living to see the next day, and I love that this show is not about fight till you die, but about honouring yourself where you are at and that being afraid is absolutely ok and that you shouldn’t be afraid to put yourself first.

I had tears in my eyes this entire episode. This anime feels like coming home after a really rough day and getting a big warm hug from someone you feel safe with. They can’t keep getting away with it- like actually this show feels so healing to watch it
