The Author, Tatsuki Fujimoto does have a unique style and animation studios seem to love it. If you want to check out his other works there's Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 which is an anthology of his short stories he wrote when he was that age. My favorite by far is the one about the sisters who are painters. There is also an interesting movie Look Back that is about a reclusive young Manga writer.

Of course the bat devil has sonar lol, you often find yourself taking on the role of disappointed parent with denji. The amount of times "denji,no" has left my mouth is unreal. Akis being forced to adopt these 2 cracked psychos but there's something else, denji just wants to protect his life his new normal and power likes her cat. I love this fuckin show

Just a heads up. There is a movie after the series titled "Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc". It can be seen, via digital purchase, on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV or Youtube. However I think it might be releasing at the end of April or May on Crunchyroll but that info is not a 100%.

I really love how this show demonstrates how different characters process different emotions. They may not know the correct words to describe their empathy but they still feel empathy for eachother. Denji and power are so well written. Love love love them
