Not trying to over explain, ignore if you need to! Just one thing you said was backwards. ———————— at about 21:40 is the other way around, Gojo means 80% of what determines how powerful a sorcerer can be is genetic because techniques can be so powerful and you can’t normally just acquire a great one. (That’s what he means by inate talent) You’re picking up everything very well! Better than me first time

It's the other way around, 80% is the cursed technique you are born with, the other 20% is hard work

As I said - let me learn with the show. I'm sure it's not going to be the only time it comes up :) If I make mistakes then that's part of my natural reaction. The show will correct me. But the correction has just made something click in my brain!

I really like that gojo vision of how he sees jujutsu high/community right now

Sometimes I see people using the "80% innate talent" as a criticism on why the power system is bad, but I think it makes it realistic and on theme with the unfairness of the world mentioned by Megumi. It also strays away from the typical shonen where the characters can train and study really hard until they become the best. Obviously this is not black and white, there will be a lot of nuance throughout the story. Just in this episode, Gojo says that Sukuna's technique will be engraved into Yuji's body, showing that there's some room for maneuver within the power system.

"Gojo villain arc?" Gojo, proceeds to casually say he could just off these guys if he wanted to like its the weather 🤣 Yeah hes totally capable and would, but he's being smart about it. Theres a strategy for things to actually change. Gojo is such an interesting character to me. He's silly half the time but when he's serious you wonder like "what shit have you been through my guy". I find all of the jujutsu sorcerers very fascinating, because ultimately their job is to eradicate curses ...to protect people from more harm. But at the same time...like Megumi said, they're not really classified as heroes. Not all of them are doing this to save every person they can, or willing to sacrifice themselves in the process. Sidenote...you're going to LOVE next episode 😍
