I’m sure Tartah would love to be the apprentice of the dude who wiped his grandpa’s memories.

From experience... you will not stop reading once you start

I’m sooooooo excited you finally got here So yeah, Qifrey! ……I’ve actually thought he was suspicious from the very first episode. He legitimately was going to erase Cocos memory and leave her like that until he found out she might have a connection to the Brimmed Caps. One of their rules was broken, but then he negated that rule for his own potential gain. And I’m not saying that he’s evil, but that he will make choices based on his own personal goal, whatever that is; as we saw here especially with wiping the old man’s memory. I do love him though! and I see he genuinely cares about the girls there, I don’t think that’s fake; but I can’t help but ask the same question as you: “how far is he willing to go and what is he willing to do” why is he soooo obsessed to the point hes is making careless decisions like using this unknown ink. What is his backstory; I want to know

Loved your discussion about the Brimmed Caps’ objectives and why they want Coco (an outsider) to expose magic to the world with the usage of forbidden magic. Qifrey going to the extreme to prevent the Great Hall and the Knights from finding out about his discovery about the Brimmed Caps just makes his character so much more compelling to me! I also loved how the story touches on different disabilities and how it reflects the social expectations/norms for people too.

The knights moralis embody what I think of when I think of a lawful neutral alignment in D&D. To them, the laws and the rules are absolute, and cannot be bent or broken for any reason. Good and evil are honestly secondary concerns to them. Qifrey has a single-minded obsession with the brimmed caps, and while I think it's probably for good purposes, it seems clear he is willing to be morally dubious to get closer to them.
