Love the post discussion on this. The story will keep getting more intriguing and complex from here. I can't wait to here your analysis of a certain character that will be introduced at some point in this series. I'm pretty sure when you decided to watch Monster everyone else had this certain character in mind.

Hmm, I still think Roberto works for Johan but he’s probably working as a spy for him, infiltrating different criminal organizations and taking out people that are targeting Johan. I know that it looked like Roberto was planning to hurt Anna but I think he was working under Johan’s order to kill the detective but unexpectedly ran into Anna. Anyway, I’m glad you warmed up to Eva and feel for her despite her obsession with Tenma. I think deep down she really cares for him but she’s acting out in the wrong ways. The next arc is my favourite so I can’t wait for your reactions/discussions for it! You’re in for a ride!!!

Yeah… Another explanation I can think of is that he might think Anna is a liability to Johan and wanted to get rid of her so that Johan will lose his last link to “humanity” and be the monster they want.

A bit of a coincidence but Hercule is the english name for a Dragon Ball character who's also a phony and became a comedic character, similar to Heckle. Also yeah, if there's no body it would be hard to convince a criminal organization that your dead 😅
