Fun fact that was confirmed by the author outside of the series: Suma is confirmed bi! So not only does she get Tengen as a husband, but also two beautiful wives in Makio and Hinatsuru. Truly, she is living the dream!

This may come across as weird but after each episode i get somewhat upset that there is no new episode yet and that should be considered as a complement, the fact that i get excited for each new reaction videos speaks volumes as to much how i enjoy your reactions and how hard it is to have to wait for each episode. To me that is the same as having to wait a week for a new Anime episode to come out. This by no means mean that you should produce faster btw this is just to illustrate how good i find your content. I dont really know how to word it propely so apologies for that im usually the more lurking kind.

Hi Sophie! Love to see our boy Rengoku hanging out with Maomao in the background! It won't be mentioned in the anime so I think I can let you know that: Suma's little sister was supposed to marry Tengen but she offered herself in her place! She was 11 at the time. I think what made me start to like Tengen is not just that he told our boys to leave the district, but that he admitted that he had made a mistake by bringing them and that he felt bad about it. It was at odd with the way he was presenting himself and it made me want to know more about him. The next episode is so good and I can't wait to see your reaction to it <3

One of my favorite things about this show is how far we can come from a "first impression" of a character. I definitely did not expect to love Inousuke or appreciate Tengen as much as I do. Same with Giyu and Urukodaki. Love them all. Didn't expect to though, based off of their first impressions. (Twas love at first sight for Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Shinobu tho lol)

Everyone wants to be Tengen's wife, he's such A MAN. Also I love how you immediately noticed that the three wives are similar to the main trio ! I don't know if it's confirmed that Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke were inspo for them, but it definitely gives off these vibes

The great thing about this show is the level of character development. I've not seen another anime where the actors grow and mature as much as they do here. Tengen is a little slow getting into the action, but when he does- LOOK OUT!!!🧨🧨🧨

Today, we have an equally powerful beacon of inspiration in Demon Slayer, especially through the incredible character of Kamado Tanjiro! One of the most impactful lessons he imparts is that true bravery isn’t about being fearless; it’s about facing your fears head-on! Throughout the anime, especially in season 1, and now facing alone Daki, an upper rank demon, Tanjiro embraces his emotions wholeheartedly. He doesn’t shy away from expressing to us the audience his anxiety; instead, he channels it into determination! He shows us that it’s perfectly okay to feel scared, but what truly matters is taking action despite that fear. Tanjiro understands that his values, goals, and the well-being of those around him far outweigh his own fears. His journey is a powerful reminder that courage is about pushing through challenges and fighting for what you believe in! And let’s not forget one of his most beautiful qualities: his ability to shed tears without shame (we all know you especially value that quality, Dr. Sophie haha). This openness is a wonderful lesson for young boys, teaching them that it’s perfectly okay to express their emotions and be vulnerable. How inspiring is that? 🤗

I appreciate the parallel you draw between Rengoku and Tengen. You point out that Rengoku was instantly likable, quickly warming our hearts with his enthusiasm and sense of justice. On the other hand, Tengen offers a more gradual appreciation due to his bluntness and emotional distance, yet he reveals himself to be an 'alpha male' with a soft side.🥷🏻💗 Just a quick note: Tanjiro struggling and getting totally wiped out after using Sun Breathing in this episode ☀️😤. It really makes me wonder about his dad, who originally passed down the Hinokami Kagura. His father always looked so weak and sick—did using a technique this powerful take the same toll on him? It’s interesting to think about how these powerful family abilities might actually drain the user!

I’m glad you’ve fallen in love Tengen!!! I can guarantee that you’ll love him even more as the story progresses because it happened to me haha! You made a good point about how we met him after Rengoku so it was easy to compare them. But now we’re seeing Tengen’s softer side too.
