How you guys are planning to proceed with BOTC material? will there still be discord games? And what’s about the crowdfunded in person games? Though I enjoy pretty much all your content I’m mainly here for well produced BOTC material.

they addressed this in the 'bts stalin reads comments post', they said the In person games were set to be recorded early last year so it will go ahead as planned. as for the missing patreon exclusive eps they apologized for not being able to record them.

“As you may know, we had also planned to bring you two episodes of Blood On The Clocktower before the end of September. Unfortunately, we were unexpectedly prevented from filming those episodes last week at very short notice. We have been trying to find a solution that would allow us to deliver those episodes to you on time, but unfortunately that is not going to be possible. Please accept our sincere apologies for this, and know that we are working hard to get them to you as soon as we can“

That doesn't really answer the question about BOTC going forward though - the in person games are still planned to go ahead which is great, but it's still not clear if they're still planning on producing monthly online episodes - they've apologised for not getting the most recent ones out, but are they delayed? Cancelled? Are NRB completely abandoning BOTC with the exception of their obligated in person episodes or is this just a temporary state of affairs due to the recent disruption to operations? Would be nice to know if they're still committing to monthly online botc episodes or if they're going to replace it with the new legacy series instead...

I've gone for 6 Nimt but looks like Ticket To Ride is the early leader. It's ok but not my favourite.

My biggest complaint about the Patreon bgc is that people just pick the same 4-5 games recycled I feel like. What can you really do though? If the majority still wants those games there’s not really anything to help our defense lol.

If it’s helpful, TPI put out a statement saying they themselves would be “pausing commercial involvement” with NRB until “their [NRB’s] review of their internal processes is complete” (so I took that to mean investigations/work with professionals and necessary changes in light of that). If they’re expecting to proceed with in person BOTC early next year, that suggests a likely timeline for the conclusion of the review process, after which a TPI partnership could also presumably be reinstated, all being well. Also “pausing commercial involvement” to me suggests their in kind partnership of sorts is on pause, not that they can’t record Ben-less BOTC episodes. It does sound like the intention is to go on with BOTC remotely soon, once they can get everyone together on video for several hours, schedules allowing etc.!

I think there is a reasonable chance the episodes were filmed and they included Ben storytelling, . Then TPI came out with the statement about pausing working with NRB so they could not use anything with daddy Ben. Hopefully its 3 episodes this month with just the NRB crew and the TPI issues can be resolved when the internal processes have been reviewed

I second Bryce's comment. BOTC is why I subscribed to your Patreon. I will not be sticking around if BOTC videos are not a regular thing on here. (Nothing personal meant by that, it's just that's the reason I'm here)
