Dear PatronsJust a quick update to let you know our next Honest Government Ad is still on the way. I don't want to get into the habit of apologising whenever an HGA is a bit late - that can quickly get tired for both of us. But I think most of you would appreciate being kept in the loop - so I just wanted to let you know that the next HGA is coming, just not by the end of June (obvs)People often say wow you have so much material to work with. Which is true and it's not due to a lack of shitfuckery that I'm "running behind" - I have five draft HGA scripts open in front of me! But at the same time, the importance and complexity of what's happening in this moment of history, means that I'm trying to make these HGAs count in terms of the insights and commentary they contribute. And this requires a bit more time for me.As I mentioned in a recent post, my aim is always to do a monthly video; but it's likely that for the coming months, with everyhing going on (+ the increasingly popular podcast), the monthly schedule we've followed for the past 4 years of HGAs will be more of a guideline than a rule.Thank you to everyone who posted supportive replies to that post encouraging us to take our time and aim for quality over quantity. As i said I don't want to set up an apologetic dynamic around all this - it's just how things are at the moment. But I also want to make sure I'm communicating this to you so you're not wondering wtf is going on!Ok back to work for me now: I'll be back very soon with the preview for our next HGA.
