Amber wanted attention from Walky!

"Now my outer space doesn't match my inner space!"

@Minzoku Bokumetsu: This sounds like a job for Becky! (Or for Becky's superhero alter ego, A-Messy-Girl.)

Dan Rabin

1. I hadn't particularly noticed that Amazi-Girl gets pity from others. 2. Amazi-GIrl *developed* to be better than Amber, didn't she? 3. This negative attitude might be some kind of rebound from letting Amazi-Girl have the reins all day.

Learning you can just to choose to be thankful is one of the grownup lesson that made my life easier along with choosing to be kind and choosing to let someone find out past fucking around.

Becky is still recovering under the dinosaur

Alacrity Fitzhugh

Shouldn't she be in therapy for this dual personality thing?

Dan Rabin

... and her Pile of Lesbos!

Simon Magid

Therapy is a crapshoot. Sometimes you get really lucky and find a therapist who can be an incredible help. Sometimes you get one who will just fuck you worse up. I mainly got the second kind until I finally lucked out, and I almost didn't because I'd gotten tired of even trying by then.

Andrea Andrew

Everyone needs therapy. If you have insurance or can afford it.

Dorothy and Walky changed her sheets as an act off, I guess you'd say friendship. They realised that Amazi-Girl isn't great at self-care. If she chooses to interpret that as "pity", that is very literally her problem.

Anna Phylaxis

as someone who has this "dual personality thing," hahahaha, hahaha, hahaha

Anna Phylaxis

you CAN find therapists who are informed about various disorders of dissociative identity from early childhood trauma, but you have to look HARD. they're rare, the training and knowledge are not common.

Harold

Dina: "Becky, Amber wishes to lie in filth. Shall we mess her bed as we did mine earlier?" Becky: "YES'M"

(1) Agreed with Simon Magrid...I have been lucky with therapists and counselors; some of my family and friends have not been. (2) I have to take strong issue with the statement that "everyone needs therapy"--therapy shouldn't be SHAMED, sure, but a blanket statement like that promotes a worldview where no one will ever be healthy without regular interventions, and that seems like a recipe for dependency unlikely to benefit anyone but the unscrupulous psychiatrists. To say nothing of what Big Pharma would do with it: "Think you're healthy? Happy? YOU'RE NOT. Start taking IQ-Doz TODAY for $29.99." (3) If Alacrity meant "Shouldn't she..." in the sense of "Wouldn't it be more believable if she...", then I think there are numerous obstacles to Amber being in therapy but the biggest is that I don't think she wants it.
