As great as it is to see BJ turn to Ruth for health, it feels like this whole Jennifer misery and them remaining seperate is a constant spiral that is taking forever to unwind. Ruth is also kind of like Joyce in being possibly unavailable to BJ. Then again, that has been there dynamic from the start.

Cinematography: camera angle on Ruth has now change to view her from the location of Jennifer's head, whether or not Jennifer is actually looking at her. But J does look up in that powerful first borderless panel, perhaps because Ruth is using an SF concept like "respawn point".
