Counterpoint: I once sat outside in the cold with my then-partner, who described themselves as "fat and proud", and a mutual friend. I'm almost literally just skin and bones. I was freezing like crazy, while they and the friend, who shared their body type, were absolutely fine.

Sal’s not wrong I mean he and Amber are basically inevitable but she doesn’t have to say it right this second. Walky genuinely looks like he’s on the verge of tears. I don’t think any of them are really appreciating just how hurt he actually is right now. Just because his reunion with Dorothy was short lived and just because he knows he’s going to move on that doesn’t change the fact that he’s in deep emotional pain over all this. Joyce was his friend. He loved Dorothy. Lucy was also someone he considered a best friend and she has barely acknowledged him throughout this. His sister is being way too casual about this even though she’s making more of an effort to acknowledge his feelings than anyone else and also Jacob is there: the guy Lucy rebounded with and his rushing them to class now further making it clear to Walky how no one is really thinking about him at this moment. And Joyce won’t shut the fuck up for even two seconds just constantly opening her mouth to call attention to herself. And on top of all that it’s cold outside. Like if he just let them walk ahead and headed back to his room would we be surprised?

It's a two-strips-in-one day! 1. The twins converse, with a very nice angle between Sal's cigarette and smoke and Walky's breath-condensation puff. Her confidence in him is not misplaced given his track record, but his malaise goes deeper than than the surface issue. 2. The walk gets underway, and Joyce has transferred her quest for coolness from the straight Sal to the bisexual Jennifer. But she has long since downloaded the system update she wants, and she's all the sysadmin she needs, no?

At this point I don’t even think I want him and Amber together. I mean I doubt it’ll be happening anyway as Amber is treating dating Walky as something completely incorrect of penance, and he assumes she doesn’t like him right now so it matters not. If (and I can’t imagine in what way it comes out for Walky) he has an emotional episode whether anger, self harm, depression, isolation, whatever form Willis decides it’ll take— I feel like the whole cast is gonna be like “Walky did what?? Why?! Impossible.”

She’s not privy to the details of how Walky and Dorothy broke up, nor would she care to seek out those details on her own. It’s entirely possible, from her perspective, that Joyce and Dorothy realized their extremely obvious feelings for each other and Dorothy broke up with Walky without anything else untoward happening. Sal doesn’t necessarily have any reason to suspect that this is anything besides a normal, if a little messy, breakup.

On a more serious note, I hope somebody notices that Walky is hurting for real and takes it more seriously. I know it's hard because Walky acts like a clown so much but sometimes stuff does get to him and carrying on like it's a normal part of his and Joyce's bickering isn't helping.

I don't see what opportunities Walky could offer Raidah at that point, or how Raidah could seduce him; even under emotional vulnerability: more so Walky is already wary of Raidah. Raidah do have reasons to target Tony however: he is the Dean son and it would hurt Sarah.
