He went out for Krispy Kreme Donuts and returned to find bi-in-denial Dorothy making out with Joe’s girlfriend on the front cover of the school paper during a ruined genocide protest. Joe is in emotional lockdown as he struggles in a limbo of whether Joyce left him or will make this a poly relationship with Dorothy, with Sarah of all people trying to comfort him. And more pressing than all of that, Amber is laid up with gunshot wounds, Amazigirl is wanted by the police, and Sal now owes a favor to the runaway mob prince that she already had a complicated history with. What the heck!
