...This isn't a great state to be in for fleeing, but Amber's gotta make it work.

Sajuuk-Khar

Hahaha! This sucks, man!!

Mitzi B.

GOD I HATE THE COPS

Joe360

Being in pain from a serious wound, brain under painkillers and pursued by by a ton of police officers: there are days like that...

Mitzi B.

Amber leaning off her bed in the first panel looks risky

Astariel

Yeah, really! I hate to imagine what that's doing to her stomach wound.

Astariel

Hmm, things could be boding better. This would be a good time to see if Dina's invisibility field can cover Amber.

Megh

so amber should get herself a good lawyer huh

Tessea

She just needs to get someone tall like Carla to help her up into the vents where she can get more sleep, like when she escaped from having to chat with Booster.

Nicholas A. Jalowick

I'm trying to stay hopeful that they're not here to arrest Amber, that maybe some other bad thing, unrelated to Amazi Girl, is going on.

C.T. Phipps

The cops are after the heroically gay lesbians!

Amós Batista

That amount of cars aren't only for Amazi-girl, and that is the scariest of all

Morgan Byrd

Is that a Cybertruck in the parking lot

David M Willis

I don't think so. I think they're all regular nonterrible cars.

Megh

honestly want this if only so we can have an awkward scene of joynk trying to explain to him how she "left" jacob for dorpy

David M Willis

That big one in the middle is a Bearcat, which the Bloomington, Indiana, police purchased "recently" (written a year ago), and was/is... heavily discussed, as to its... militarization level.

Andrew

Quick, into the half-bath! The room-between-rooms, neither in one room nor the other.

David M Willis

I was keeping in mind the amount of mobility I had when I had hernia surgery (in approximately the area Amazi-girl got stabbed), and... I could probably assume this position briefly, in a panic, before realizing, oh right, ouch.

Shane Wegner

"A domestic terrorist, who is also being brought up on felony narcotics charges, was safely apprehended and transferred to an unknown location today by our hard-working boys in blue..."

Shane Wegner

Somehow I just know that, on top of everything else, Amber really, really has to pee.

5099 5618 v2.0

A SWAT van? Damn. Almost flattered, but damn.

5099 5618 v2.0

Ok. If the warning *was* Asher, I assume it also went to Sal. And if it went to Sal, she's already in motion. Sal and Asher coming to Amber's aid is one of those scenarios that would have seemed insanely unlikely, a few years ago. Today, it makes sense. I'm impressed.

5099 5618 v2.0

@Shane Wegner Police Captain: "...also, officers found a loaded gun, sixteen grams of fentanyl, three severed human fingers, and unmarked spoilers for the season finale of Pluribus in her dorm room. Questions?" Journalist: "Daisy Conrad, Indiana Daily Student. Is it "Pluribus" or "PLUR1BUS"? Is the number meant to be part of the show's name when spoken out loud?" PC: "That is the subject of an ongoing investigation, Ms. Conrad. I can't speak to that, at this time."

5099 5618 v2.0

@Nicholas A. Jalowick If it's an ICE raid, I may rotate fully out of linear spacetime.

5099 5618 v2.0

Wait...did Joyce and Dorothy *also* get a warning?

Kelly (they-them)

Every time I see a cyber truck in real life, I genuinely laugh. Once I saw one in a parking lot and tried to surreptitiously take a selfie with it - you know, so as to mock the car and its owner.

Logibear

Can we all agree that Yackity Sax will be playing throughout the entirety of the following amazing escape?

Terra Bruder

SWAT vans frequently get used for no reason but to justify their own expense. Policing in this country is just power tripping murder hobo gun club.

Sky Starlight

Yeah, the people who were bullies in high school figured out they can get paid for it.

Sky Starlight

I once saw a cybertruck painted camo. I didn't think they could look worse, but someone found a way.

Ilana Feldman

Joyce and Dorothy are having a lunch date. They're probably going to avoid this situation by accident.

Harold

"Once again Joyce and Dorothy escape the consequences yada yada" - Main site commenters, probably

MrShoggoth

@Sky Starlight Life, uh, finds a way

AE Gonzalez

To sum up: Leslie and Robin, who were at the protest, are semi-missing. Police are raiding the Hall where several students who took part in the protest reside. The Hall they’d likely suspect Amazi-Girl resides in.

Dan Rabin

Not to mention the closet full of femurs.

5099 5618 v2.0

@Logibear Would also accept "Crank That" by Soulja Boy

Ilana Feldman

tbh, given Dorothy's reaction to learning about Amber's injury, they could still find themselves getting involved somehow. I could see it going south really fast. Though the preview panels suggest to me that they'll be relatively unscathed.

Shadow12000

Because everyone does when they wake up.
