I like these two, but I'm not sure Joe is communicating what he wants to very well. I remember seeing panel 3 in the previews and being pretty sure Joe striding off angrily would have something to do with Joyce. I certainly did not expect it would relate to Dina's raptor.

I wouldn't say he's being totally emotionally mature (he's learning, and he's doing amazing, but he's expressing his care for Dina in a way that's comfortable for him rather than in a way that is legible to Dina), but he's been on this character arc since he had that Mike-chaperoned date with Joyce
