She's working on it, IIRC. Most 101-level classes at large state schools like IU are either taught by advanced grad students or are led by a full professor with a small army of TAs. It depends on the size of the class.

There's so much to ask here. 1) Carla would have to know the actual room number in order to get herself up on the monitor - that's not just based on the physical proximity of rolly cart! 2) if even Charlie can tell she's not in the right place, maybe listen to her?

There's certainly no evidence of the pandemic in comic time, but given the sliding timescale it's entirely possible that the comic is now taking place in a world where COVID has been a fact of life for the last several years.
